Checked out the revamp & relaunch and it does look lovely!! Was very busy and maybe it was the fact they were understaffed, but what a shit show. Sat at the bar rather than try and wait around for a table (no one acknowledged us or gave us menus) dripped on with condensation from above piping, we'll move since the people next to us at the bar wouldn't move up! Grabbed seating in front of the vats and still waited. Asked the guy in front of the bus station who was looking like a manager could we get some menus - he was clueless. Another 5 minutes went by before lovely waitress who's name begins with an M but can't remember, came over - extremely apologetic, told us the guy we talked to it was his first day - oh brother, but makes sense!! Beer solid as usual, food they were out of all the sliders so we ordered the veggie nachos - sorriest looking plate of food ever, saltiest chips I've ever eaten, a sprinkling of corn, black beans and tomatoes, a teaspoon of cheese sauce on 2-3 chips but the biggest glob of sour cream! The worst ever!!! We laughed it off and said first week relaunch issues we'll try again in a couple of months!! Wishing them well but maybe they should have done a soft launch first to iron out all the issues!!

A bit blurry picture but we enjoyed the Broken Auger Lager!

Broken Bow Brewery is one of the few breweries that I still have bookmarked for the state of New York that isn't in New York City itself. So with that in mind I feel a certain sense of accomplishment by checking this particular brewery off of my list. The beer that Steve and I had and enjoyed was the Broken Auger Lager. A very appropriate beer as the weather heads in it's steadily warming state for this time of year. But in actuality lagers are good anytime of the year for us. Flavor features with this particular beer are a naturally sweet flavor along with a bit of sour with a clean aftertaste. The beer is light bodied and smooth which is an extra plus!

A baby AND dog friendly brewery? I'm in. Great spot. Live music. Food truck outside. Great drinks - both beer and cocktails.

Great local spot with friendly service, good amount of and different type of indoor/outdoor seating to chose from, and nice beverage selection from local beer to frozen alcohol and non-alcohol options to wine. There is on-site free parking lot as well as street parking out front. Note that there is food truck only on weekends though there's quick snack options to chose from.

Great staff. Chill environment. Good beer. The staff recommend the broken heart stout which did not disappoint. I'll be back.

I've been coming to Broken Bow since they first opened and they have always been one of my favorite spots to hang in the Eastchester/Tuckahoe area. Whether it is a food truck night, live music, hosting events including Relay for Life kickoffs, there is never a dull moment to enjoy a beer here!

Good beer in this place, they also have a nice patio where you can sit and enjoy some beer and food. They had a pizza truck set up outside and a food truck making Empanadas. I tried the pizza and it was good, I also had an Arepa with cheese from the food truck. The service was good until the night came when they had a large group come in then it became impossible to get a beer. That's when it was time to leave. I enjoyed my time there and would return. Parking could be a challenge in the street though but fortunately there is a parking parking lot next door that belongs to Springhill Suites hotel with plenty of space available. The brewery told me I could use it so I did and it wasn't a problem.

Early Saturday afternoon, only a spattering of people at this large brewery. Inside, there is seating at the bar, as well as a large section for tables (one area for dogs and one for non dogs). Outside there are a few tables under umbrellas, as well as chairs around the parking lot... Since there was a dog with me, decided on ordering at the bar then taking the drinks outside. Started with the "Petunia's Red Ale" ($7) - a toasty Irish red ending in a malty finish. Next was the "Plum Hazy IPA" ($7) - a sweeter fruity ale that didn't have much in terms of hops. No real food jerez but there is free popcorn (!) at the back, as well as some chips/jerky for purchase. Overall vibe is relaxed with many people bringing their dogs and hanging out in the parking lot seating area.

    Don't lose this!

Not every pub or restaurant features local craft beer (and they're missing out!), but when one does, they got it going on. So a shoutout to "The Pub" located inside Empire City for introducing me to the knowledge of a local craft brewery nearby known as Broken Bow. I finally had the chance to visit said brewery a few weeks back and experienced some quality concoctions. Let's begin. Located a little over ten minutes from EC is this semi-spacious suds spot that has an almost vintage feel with its wood-finished tables and stools. An outdoor beer garden and corn hole game (along with food truck visits) compiled the entirety of the place. Their small-ish bar is where you'll score your beers receiving them from some pretty friendly people, I might add. Both employees working that day were super chill and really welcoming (even when we flashed the Groupon I had purchased). This started things off on point. Heading from there, we'll dive into the actual importance of the whole experience (and this review), the beer! Now I had sipped plenty of pints of Broken Bow's Red Ale (a malty and substantial brew) as that was the beer on tap back over at Empire City, so I was ready to try some different ones. A flight was included in that aforementioned Groupon and so I chose four tasters and let the beer-ing begin. Broken Routines IPA Series with Mosaic and Amarillo, and Space Brut IPA were two hoppy yet individualistic brews in taste that basically did the trick for their styles. The Broken Heart Stout was a solid selection as it held some roasted notes and a little bitterness. My apologies to the last brew (I should've wrote this down), but it was either Auger Lager or the Kolsch. I guess neither were overly memorable if I can't recall the choice (sorry!). What did score big points was Lucy's Strawberry Sour Wheat. I didn't include this in my flight, but my buddy tried it and loved it so much he bought a four pack of cans (and this guy never buys cans!). It held well a few weeks later when I grabbed one of those cans from my friend last night and basked in some wonderful fruity notes surrounded by a perfect tartness. It leads me to wanting a little trip back up to BB to grab some more. Overall, Broken Bow Brewery is just what the beer doctor ordered in giving it's beer goers an enjoyable setting (inside and out), super friendly service, and brews that are (mostly) memorable. Groupon or not I would most certainly return for more Broken Bow goodness, especially because one can only drink the same beer from a brewery being served at a pub so often and not want to try more of what they have to offer (maybe mix it up, Empire City?).

Great vibes and good customer service. Equally nice outside and inside seating areas. There is a food truck outside. I would definitely visit again!

Getting ready for outdoor seating nest Tuesday.. New hours 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm I need it this today.

We ordered the porterhouse, creamed spinach, calamari, baked clams, the jumbo baked potato, and some pasta. The porterhouse was perfectly seasoned, and it was enough for three people to share. Whatever sauce the baked clams were doused in, I need that recipe. I used the complementary bread to soak up some of that juice and it was amazing. Their espresso martinis were also really good and strong. The only thing I did not like was the jumbo baked potato. It just felt like there was Velveeta cheese slathered on top, so if there's an item I would pass on, it would be this one. Just get regular mashed potatoes. The service was amazing. The owner came out to meet with us multiple times. Our waiters were very attentive and gave us ample time to order. They literally cut our meat and served it for us. The ambience was really nice. It's your usual steakhouse joint, with dim lighting. However, the best part about this dinner was that they seated us in a private room with one other party. It was very intimate and nice and I don't think I could've asked for better service. The cherry on top was that they came out with limoncello shots to end the night. If you're in the Westchester area, please definitely come check this place out. It is worth the money, time, and effort. You will not be disappointed.

The owner was very gracious and offered us six complementary oysters since we couldn't sit at the bar. The oysters weren't our favorite that evening, the rest of the meal more than made up for it. The rest of the meal was very enjoyable. The crab cake was enormous, the grilled octopus was excellent - my son loved it - and the veal with prosciutto and melted cheese was tasty. The baked potato was huge and cooked perfectly. I ordered a cocktail and they made me one with elderflower which was nice but a little sweet for my taste. My friend's Manhattan was nice and strong. What stood it the most was the hospitality. The owner went out of his way to make sure we had a good experience, and that level of service is sobering we really appreciated. Next time we'll probably make it an adult only happy hour so we can enjoy the bar menu.

While the menu includes the usual bar staples like burgers, sandwiches, salads, and beers, the quality is anything but typical. On top of that, they serve full entrées that could rival some of the so-called "higher-end" spots in the area--at much more reasonable prices. I've eaten here several times, and I was actually surprised to realize I hadn't written a review yet. There were three of us in for an early dinner today. Our waiter was friendly, and even though it's very much a neighborhood hangout, it's welcoming to newcomers--lots of smiles and a very warm, relaxed atmosphere. Now, onto the food: one of the specials was buffalo chicken empanadas--six in an order. The dough was flaky, and the filling had a good kick without being overly spicy, which I appreciated. They came with a blue cheese dressing that paired perfectly. I ordered the chicken cordon bleu, which came with mixed vegetables and mashed potatoes by default, but I swapped in potato salad--and I'm glad I did. The chicken was well-prepared, topped with a flavorful marsala sauce, and stuffed with ham and Swiss cheese. The potato salad was clearly homemade and really tasty, and the vegetables--broccoli and two kinds of zucchini--tasted like they'd been fire-roasted. So good. Mom ordered the Balboa wedge, which was generously packed with meat, and the chicken cutlet wrap with lettuce and tomato--another fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned dish. All sandwiches are offered as a wrap, Panini or a wedge. All of us ended up ordering the potato salad--it's made in-house and truly delicious. I ended up taking home a pasta dish with sausage, garlic, and oil for my husband, and he absolutely loved it.

The food has always been great, which is why I've remained a loyal customer. Unfortunately, the service has gone downhill. Two weeks ago, I noticed the music was so loud that it made it difficult to have a conversation. We also waited far too long before anyone came to our table. To make matters worse, our order was missing a dish, and instead of checking on it, the red-haired woman seemed more interested in showing pictures from her phone to the table next to us than making sure our order was complete. I've also came here to watch almost every world cup soccer game, and in the past the staff were always very accommodating. They would put the game on the big projector and let us hear it through the overhead sound system, which made for a great experience. During one of the last games however, we asked if the sound could be switched to the soccer match like it had been before. The server refused to lower the music and would only let us hear the TV's own speakers, which were impossible to hear over the loud music. It felt like customer experience was no longer a priority. Yesterday was the final straw. I came in with a friend, and the server was sitting at the front scrolling through her phone. She didn't acknowledged us until the bartender noticed we were trying to get someone's attention. I've supported this restaurant for over a decade, so it's disappointing to see the level of service decline like this. Is there new management? I truly hope someone addresses these issues because the food is still excellent, but the customer service no longer matches the quality of the restaurant.
