I asked for some gold tip black label arrows about a while back and I looked at the charts and was supposed to go with the 340 spine and I ended up being talked into buying the 400 spine which was underspined for the 29" draw length and the 70 lbs of draw weight. Also the arrows were too light for a hunting setup. On top of the weight of the arrow the fletches were over glued like they were being rushed.

There are several ranges including a building scenario that I'm not sure was functional or operating. There is a rifle range but I think it was closed for renovations. The road into the place is dirt/gravel and can be a little rough. Walking to the ranges is on grass. If it's been raining wear appropriate shoes because it can get wet and muddy. Few things worse than cold wet feet in cold weather. I had no direct interaction with a staff but observed they seemed nice with other folks there. On this day there was a boy scout troop from Redwood City doing a weekend camping trip. They all looked like they were having a nice time but also a little bit of I'm not in Kansas (Redwood City) look on their faces. Like where am I, and why are all these people shooting guns. City kids? All and all a good experience.

We chose an outdoor range as I felt comfortable with the setting. Maybe less noise? Upon our arrival, we properly checked in, paid the fee which was reasonable and were on our way- When we checked in, I noticed on a board and was made verbally notified of upcoming classes. I truly appreciated that information. Coming in on a Saturday afternoon, it was a full house. The range master was very informative and showed me a few great pointers, being a lefty. Safety was very prevalent. I absolutely appreciate being in a space where it doesn't matter if it's your first or fiftieth time here-- follow the rules. Can't wait to bring my family back here!

They provide bows, arrows, and lessons for people trying it out for the first time. They offer kids classes on Saturdays from 9am - 11am and can teach kids as young as 4-years old to 13-years old.
