Teachers are amazing and do exceptionally well with the younger kids. Took my grandson there and the carpet is nasty. Doesn't appear to have been cleaned for a very long time. Caked grime around the pull up bars , the parachute used for the littles has holes and is filthy. Parents pay over $100 month the place should be wiped down especially the big plastic squares & circles every day after closing. This business needs to clean that carpet in the kiddy room to start. Go visit and see the area around the equipment..... read more

The facility are under new owners. They offer a special needs program ( starlights) my daughter is autistic non-verbal. It's so nice to have a space for special needs children to actually learn gymnastic based training where they build strength, mobility ,and overall confidence. one of things that we love is the social part. Kids get to meet other kids who are on the spectrum. Parents and families get to be in a space where they can talk to other families who understand with no judgement. If you are a special needs family, I highly recommend the Starlights program. read more

My 4 yr old is enrolled here and it's always such a fun time to watch her during gymnastics. She has improved so much with her coordination and overall confidence! The staff is always so patience and keep the kids safe. The place is under new management and everyone is so friendly. We love Coach David and Coach Amelia. read more

I've taken my daughter to other gymnastics places in a few different cities and none were like this one. The coaches genuinely care about the kids learning. My daughter is always excited for class. Her coach is Savannah, and she's very committed to her job. However, all the coaches equally commit and care about all the students. They hold fun events on holidays and even on regular days, there's lots to be involved in and you can tell all the kids have a great time but also love to learn more every class. Great staff, everyone is friendly and very helpful. If I ever have any questions I know I can call or go to the front desk and always be treated with respect and kindness. Thank you guys for all you do. read more

My son loves is Ninja class he attends every Thursday thank you for making such great place for kids to learn!

Both of my kids attended this gym for many years. Recently, we made the decision to to move on. Paul (Owner) and Laurie (Clerk) are completely unprofessional and rude to customers. In fact, I overheard Paul telling customers that he received PPP monies that would keep the gym going well into 2025 so he doesn't need their business. My oldest daughter really loves gymnastics, it's a shame there isn't a good gym in the area. We stayed with the gym for so long because the coaches were really great even though the administration was not. However, as time went on, the good coaches slowly started to leave and we were left with only a couple. This last competition season was the last straw. In order to participate, we spent a small fortune at the gym. It was disheartening to see coaches at other gyms giving direction and encouragement to the kids, while the coaches from GU socialized with each other while our kids looked chaotic and unorganized. I now understand why other parents take their kids to the Bay Area for gymnastics. Don't waste your time or money at this gym, you will only be disappointed. read more

Very good gymnastics place with good coaches. But smaller compared to other gyms.I do recommend!

My son has been attending gymnastics here for over a year and my daughter will start when she's 3. The gym itself is fantastic, the equipment is always well maintained and most importantly clean. The coaches are well trained and extremely friendly. Paul the owner is very nice and has been very accommodating to me. Office staff has always been friendly and positive. As far as the pricing goes, it feels very standard to me. It's no higher than any other gym in the area and considering the children do not have to wear a special outfit to Participate and there is no mandatory performance to pay for, I'd say it's very reasonable. Classes are not at all over crowded so your child is really getting the instruction you would expect for the price. My child loves coming here. read more

It's a nice gym with good facilities and good people. My kids attended here for around 3 years so here's my perspective: it all depends on what you're looking or. If you're looking for your kids to become super gymnasts by attending one 1 hour session every week, then this may not be for you. However, if you're looking for a weekly session where kids get to do indoor physical activities (floor routines, balance beam, trampoline, etc.) in a safe, clean and kid-friendly environment then it's a good place. A couple of quick tips: you can choose to not do the yearly program if you don't want to. Also, you can move to a different class/time if availability is there if your kid needs a different coach or peer group. read more

Super friendly staff, reasonable class prices, class schedule/hours vary so you can choose a class to meet your schedule. Gym is a little small but the class sizes are also small and the coaches are very attentive and structured. The sitting area for the parents has a nice view no matter where you sit so you can watch your kid's progress. They send regular emails with invoices and updates regarding holiday gym closures and other important information. Also, they have auto-pay available to make payment easy and adorable leotards in the sitting area so you don't have to drive all over looking for one at a dance store or shop online. I really enjoy having my daughter at this gym and think she has progressed as quickly as she has because of the staff. You can also have birthday parties here and they occasionally have themed days. Something fun for the students, like "Bring a Friend Day" or they dress up for Halloween and take group photos. read more

Well, this place really is just not worth the price... $72 dollars for 4 hours a month of snails pace instruction. I figured out eventually the 72 dollar a month class is just a introductory in hopes of you joining the travel team that you have to practically give a kidney to afford. You also can't cancel by talking to the front desk like a normal business. No that would be too easy. I'm sure if you have money or are royalty they probably offer good instruction for kids that want a higher level of instruction. But for a normal family your just not getting your money's worth. Also, watching your kids in that awkward stuffy glass bowl isn't ideal. Stay away unless you are tired of money taking up space in your home. read more

I absolutely love Gymnastics Unlimited. My daughters have been attending for almost 7 years and they still can't wait to go every week. They have enjoyed all of their coaches and all the other children that have made friends with over the years. The staff is friendly, great with children and professional at the Turlock and Salida locations. I would recommend to anyone to try them out if you're child is looking for something fun! I think what I love best is that they have fun but are at the same time learning how to be in a classroom setting by listening and paying attention & how to treat others with respect, compassion and provide encouragement to team mates! read more

Not impressed. It's expensive for the 40 minutes you get once a week, and the front desk lady is always rude, unless you're paying a bill. My kids liked it fine because the coaches are good, but I'd rather take my business elsewhere because the front desk lady leaves a bad impression every time I'm there. They also really push for this performance once a year which is a huge production and reasonably well-done, but part of that production is that the parents are forced to buy a specific outfit for each child that's usually well over $50 and the kid will wear it once. Not only that, when we finally did decide to cancel, they claim to have never received a notice of cancellation by email and insisted on charging for another month even after we have the cancellation in writing. I'm tired of this place. read more

Extremely disappointed in this place. My daughter (3) had her second class ever today and we pulled her out and won't be returning. My daughter was having trouble following directions during class ( it's new it's exciting and again, she's barely 3.) I had asked the coach if I could stand in the room with them to redirect my child so other kids weren't losing attention from the coaches. The owner came in and rudely told me I shouldnt be in there and if I had concerns to talk to the coach after. I tried to explain that she was having a hard time listening and the lady at the desk made a comment to the owner about how she would be switching to David's class, an earlier 11am class because we live farther away and 6pm was a little late for my little one. The owner (Paul) then makes the comment "oh good David will slap her upside her head" meaning he would get her to fall in line. I shockingly turned to him and said well I sure hope not he laughed and said it's a joke. Needless to say I didn't find it very funny for a grown man to speak about my child in such a way. I pulled my daughter out of class and told her the lady at the front desk (Laurie) we would be pulling her and would not be coming back to a business who speaks about children that way and that I would call back tomorrow to figure out refunding the tuition we paid for that month With the biggest smile on her face she oh don't bother to call I'll take care of it. My husband and I were visibly upset by the behavior of the owner. 3 other parents followed us outside to make sure we were okay and to let us know this WAS NOT the first time the owner has made comments and that the staff there aren't very nice. Such a shame because my daughter really loved it. I also feel really bad for Coach David whoever he is because the owner is painting a horrible picture of the coach. read more

Son came here already knowing how to front flip back flip and do a back hand spring... They recommended that my son move up to highest level but declined due to demand of hours and cost. Then proceeded to waste his time by moving him up at a snail's pace. He wasn't learning anything new. Son got sick and was hospitalized for a month, wouldn't work with us as far as pricing. Still had to pay. There is also an annual fee on top of monthly fees. Overheard owner engage in a inappropriate conversation with another parent about Donald Trump in front of a room full of parents. Accused about friend of forging registration and didn't apologize. I can go on and on about this place. We had enough and left after 3 years. read more

Came from a dynamic gym in Sacramento. This isn't at the same level. Too little activity. Kids sit around a lot. Unfortunately they also have a policy that you don't get credit for classes that fall on holidays which is ridiculous. read more

My kids have been attending classes at Gymnastics Unlimited since they were 18 months old and they are 5 now. They love this place. The staff is very friendly. Coaches are awesome and always willing to adjust to the kids individual needs, at times going above and beyond. I brought my children here not only to help them develop physically but also to foster their independence; to essentially help them learn discipline, commitment, dedication as well as skills like listening, taking turns, following directions, respecting others, etc. If this is what you are looking for, then this place will meet and exceed your expectations. read more

We were at GU for almost 7 years. All 4 of my kids attended. (Which was not cheap) My two oldest competed, one on the girls excel team and the other on the boys team. My youngest 2 just attended weekly classes. I've waited about 6 months to post my experience to take emotion out. I am very disappointed on how they operate. The management is extremely rude and I feel only care about money. We left because we felt our kids were not getting the proper training for what we were paying and moved on to a wonderful gym in Tracy. This is not to talk bad about their coaches, my kids loved their coaches and were very sad to leave but unfortunately we felt the need to move on for better training. When we let the office know we were leaving there was not one time they asked us why or tried to keep us, they just said okay. I wish the circumstances were different but unfortunately they were not. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

So my kids have been going here since they were toddlers. In fact I have 3 boys and my niece and nephew go here as well. My twin boys came home a couple of nights ago from a session and were very quite and upset. I talked to them and they informed me that, coach (male) called them "slim elephants" and that he previously told them they lived in a "small garbage bin". To me this is a clear cut case of bullying and I am upset and have pulled my kids from class. No matter the size of the child (mine are slightly overweight but very active) it is not OK for anyone especially a coach to talk to an 11 year old this way. There is supposed to be a bond and trust between a child and coach, a trust that he will push them to be better though skill building and hard work not by bullying and name calling. Please think twice about putting your kids here, I am sure not all the coaches are like this but I have read reviews about the owner berating his competition team and that seems to be ok behavior for this place. Coach Jonathan if you end up seeing this be ashamed very ashamed. read more

Brought my 1 year old and was told the class had many kids.. that was not the case. The coach was nice but the activity was geared for 2-3 year olds. I was mislead about the mommy and me program on the phone but I was given a full refund. I would recommend gymstars in Modesto if you are looking for a combination of play and AGE appropriate gymnastics! read more

Waste of time!!! How long does my kid have to spend walking on her tiptoe? Certainly 4 months is too much. I regret the day I signed up. Not to mention the front desk woman talks to you like she is doing you a favor by being there!!!! Take your money elsewhere. read more

Consistently, unprofessional, unfriendly, unhelpful front desk staff!! Major problems in initially setting up monthly credit card payments for my grand children. After 2 years it was time to cancel my grand daughter's membership, as she is moving on to other activities. However, when I called and tried to cancel, I was very rudely told that they have a 30-day cancellation policy and I'd have to pay for the additional month, even though my grand daughter would not be attending. When I mentioned that I was completely unaware of that policy, Lori (office staff) rudely told me, "Well, our policy is posted in plain sight on the bulletin board here in our office". It didn't matter when I told her that I live out of state and pay our bill monthly by credit card. When I asked if there was some way in which she could be helpful, all I got was an extremely heavy sigh into the phone, and a brisk, "No". Very disappointing, to say the least. read more

Horrible owner who doesn't have customer service skills and doesn't care whether his staff mishandles kids or not since they are the only gymnastics in town. Coaches are good, but some don't know how to handle toddlers and preschoolers, there is only one who does and she's been there for a while. read more

My son is in the Kindergym class-age 3-5. He has a lot of energy and sometimes has trouble focusing. The coaches there are patient and fun, but keep him on track. He loves going, and it is a great way to introduce kids into sports without having to purchase expensive equipment or learn difficult plays. Although it can be pricy, I think it is totally worth it. The location is convenient, allowing me to get groceries right next door. read more
