This site looks a few years old but it's the only one I could find. 6/11/22, my wife and I attended. We parked a block away and walked and it was ok. I observed that there are many Latin teenage gang members at this fair. I felt relieved to see the presence of Merced PD, Merced Sheriff's Department, police cadets, and even a police anti-gang squad group on foot patrol out in force throughout the exterior and interior of the fair. My wife won ribbons for 3 out of 3 of her art paintings. Truly a blessing. The horse racing and bull rides were way cool. We only bought a tasty large horchata there. It's a small quaint fair with a few hours of fun !!

Lobster and fries. With a nice cold Chelada.

Many memories here from childhood. I loved having my birthday parties here growing up and overall,…read moreI have a deep appreciation for the establishment, but I believe several areas could benefit from updates. Blackbeards definitely needs a facelift and general renovations, specifically regarding the arcade and food offerings. I also found the $35 wristband price to be high given the current selection of available attractions. While the miniature golf course remains in good condition, it is disappointing that the water slides are no longer operational. The pool area still looks sparkling clean and well-maintained, yet it remains inaccessible to guests. I discussed this with the workers and they stated that there are no plans to reopen the slides. If so, I suggest utilizing that space for something new to better serve their visitors. Blackbeards has a great deal of potential, and I look forward to seeing the improvements that could take place in the coming years.

Air conditioner works better now, which here in Fresno is very important, the attendants were very helpful when the cars didn't' run right or the door locked us out. I have so many memories here from when I was little.

I have no idea how I was not tracking this water park for kids years ago. If you have kids 2-15 I…read morethink you will find this a great option to change up a slow weekend. Let me also state that if you think you will use it more than once go with the Premium Membership. It will get you 25% off all food and drink items in the park as well as free parking. That alone makes it a no brainer. You can also buy cups, popcorn containers that you can bring back every time and get free refills. To include, icees, fountain drinks and popcorn. The are $30 for the initial purchase and something like $24 with a premium membership, but it adds up. The park has a little bit of everything, if you want water parks it has two options, smaller on geared for infants to toddlers. And a larger one ideal for 5 and up. It's also great for an adult who wants to cool off on a hot day. They have a lot of rides, most acceptable for 3+ yo children. A few rides have height requirements but most of those are ones parents can't accompany the child. The have a train ride that is for all ages and it circles the entire park allowing you to get off at either stop. A tram ride that travels through a botanical garden and a bunch of rides to occupy the kids. Their food options border on fair/fast food. We tried the Wok restaurant and well I would not recommend it. We tried chicken shish-kabobs it was under whelming. Wait times during peak meal times can be very long so recommend you plan around it or suffer during it. One other consideration, while much of the park is under tree canopy, on a hot day stepping out from under the shade into the open can feel like hell's kitchen. Our last visit temps hit over 100 and being out of the shade was brutal. You will never be more aware of this than at the water park areas, lack of shade into those areas is rough. They have cabanas you can rent but I fear on a hot day the cabanas probably get hot since they have no fans. We will definitely be going back and I urge those of you with kids to give it a try.

The parking fee was 25 dollars which they refunded when we bought the premium pass for 40 dollars more. The premium pass gives you unlimited visits and free parking. I think there are other perks but the husband took care of ticketing so the website explains it I'm sure. The park is clean and the young staff is polite and helpful. The bathrooms and pool changing area could use a little more attention but it wasn't too bad. They allow you to bring drinks- we had water bottles. Good security screening which I also appreciated. There are picnic tables in front if you want to exit the park and grab lunch from the car. Otherwise there are many food stands throughout the park. The usual fare and as always pricy. There are rides for everyone. I was surprised to see couples without kids and kids from toddler to High School enjoying the rides. The water pad park includes something for everyone age. For kids in first grade up there are 3 water slides, water cannons, and the buckets dumping water. You can lease a cabana that has a fridge to create a home base for the day but we found chairs to watch the activity. A towel and water shoes/crocs are good to bring. Some kids were wearing goggles. I didn't bring my suit but there were plenty of adults going down the slides. Everyone looked very happy! They have special events on holidays. Halloween, New Years Eve and Christmas are supposed to be well decorated and festive. I guess we will make the trip. Overall, it's a good way to spend a day with younger kids from toddler to grades 5/6.

Park closes at 6pm, extended summer hours is 7pm. We went on a Tuesday and Tuesdays are the days they offer their deals. It's buy one get one free basically for $49.99 which I think it's a fair price since individual tickets are from I believe $30-$40. Parking is $5 and if you want to park upfront it's $10. We waited in line for almost an hour to get inside so be mindful if you have a lot of things to carry. Bring a cooler with wheels and a wagon! If you also have a baby stroller that is also allowed inside. The only thing they won't allow you to bring inside is anything glass, alcohol or knives so please precut your fruits and sandwiches beforehand. They do check coolers and bags upfront. We bought Costco pizzas, made pasta salad, charcuterie boards and other knick knack snacks for the kids as well to give you guys ideas on what to bring! Most of the time everyone's gonna be out swimming and on rides and not paying attention on eating lol If you have kids, please take them I recommend and apply sunscreen at all times!

The traffic to go inside was busy and took some time to go in and to wait in line. Highly recommend to bring a wagon to carry all your things. I had 6 boxes of pizza to bring in so I'm glad I didn't have to carry it instead just wheel them in. The tubes is mainly for the lazy river because the wave pool it's not allowed. I didn't think it was worth getting tbh. Went on a few slides felt like a kid again. Me and my son enjoyed the wave until the "accidents" were happening in there so they had to clear the crowd a few times to I guess shock the pool. I hope there's plenty of chlorine to kill all the germs because I always think of water parks as a big toilet/bath house lol

Thank you guys for providing this! If you miss it, the people that can wrist bands at the water park will direct you. Once you're inside, far right are the changing rooms, rest rooms, and lockers. $18 for a small one. The wave pool wasn't working the day we went which was a bummer. Smaller in size but seemed cool. However, there are multiple slides and rides that were all good. Seems like the water slides all use salt water, and the pool outside is chlorinated. There's a bar, dippin dots, and a pretzel based place and a burger place inside for food and drink. No water bottle refill that we found but you can refill at the drink stations. For good rides, the family one (right biggest staircase when you face the left from the entrance) will let you on Sequoia Splash or River Canyon Run. The former is at the top to the right, and River Canyon Run is to the left. RCR is much tamer as a slide, but both have a 250 lb per person limit and 700 lb total limit. They weigh you before you get on so don't attempt to get on without that. The smaller body slides all run a lot of water flow so don't worry about getting slowed down or anything. Great water fun! Definitely will come again! They are big on safety, and have lifeguards posted everywhere, and they seem to rotate areas every 30 minutes. No running and they are super cautious about what goes on. Very helpful when asked about any questions. One more thing: You can pay for your parking ($20) when they check tickets. Make sure you keep that wristband. Also, the entire park is cashless so make sure you have payment via your phone or a card handy! Have fun!
