This is one of the best archery shops I've ever been in. They have a half dozen people working behind the counter. Over half of these are mechanics. Knowledgeable is an understatement when it comes to their staff. As I was waiting my turn, I learned a bunch of stuff by just listening to them explain to customers ahead me various shooting techniques. Their technicians were generous sharing their technical knowledge with their customers. They took ample time to answer our questions. I purchased a PSE Centrix bow and had them sell my old bow on consignment. I was very impressed with how much care the technician Don took to set up my bow properly. It's a small shop located deep in Lodi, perfect for any newbie (and I'm sure veterans, as well!) archers. They have their own parking lot and tons of options for recurve bows, compound bows, high quality arrows and other accessories. Don & Isiah are simply world-class men. As someone new to archery, and not with much upper body strength yet, they helped me select a bow that would work for my long-term goals. Don spent nearly two hours with me, patiently explaining my choices and letting me make the decision on what I wanted my bow to have. Being a data analyst, of course, I didn't mind doing the long-term upgrades upfront as I knew I didn't want to keep coming back for more/new. They ordered my bow, it came in about a week and then they had it ready for pickup. Isiah helped me with testing it and gave me additional pointers on posture and stance. I went to Lodi Archery to have my bow restrung and they quoted me $270.00. After a few minutes they came back with my bow and said I had a bent cam and they could not get a new one so the bow was no good. Then they tried selling new a new one for $1200.00. I then took the bow to two other shops and had it checked and restrung Which only cost me $130.00. Both places said the bow was in perfect shape and its been shooting great with no problems. I would not trust this place its worth looking around you will find a better deal and a more honest one. read more

This was my first archery experience. The place was really laid back and inviting. I enjoyed my lesson and I've already signed up for another one. Courtney was my instructor and he did a really great job with explaining everything. The class size was around 8 or 9 people. It was just enough people. I'm not knowledgeable about bows so in not sure about their inventory. But I'm sure it's just as good as any other store. I'd recommend this place for sure. ---Update. Second set of lessons. --- This place is still great. I've definitely decided this place will be my go to. They are very professional and the range is well laid out. My friend and I went to Lodi Archery to try out archery for the first time. Since my friend and I were first timers to archery, it was recommended for us to pay $25 and it included an hour lesson with Archery "Coach" Eileen. She fitted us each with a bow, darts, and arm patch. She showed us specific ways and gave us tips on how to get the most of the experience. Eileen showed us great tips for the whole hour. Eileen was hilarious and we had so much fun! I definitely will go back and try it again. We were told that our next visit would cost us $12 for our own bow, darts, and it gives us an hour to practice archery. read more

I called about bringing my bow out to have it checked over and tuned. They said to bring it and they would look at it. I haven't shot a bow for over 10 years. They helped me through the process and tuned it up. I had them make up a dozen arrows and I went to the range area after everything was ready. I covered 3 arrows at 10 yards within 2". I moved to the 20 yard target with the same result. Great service and expert help. I will be a customer for a long time. read more
