I'm able to write a more revised version of my experience as they already responded to my Google…read morereview and I take a little umbrage with their response. We don't live in the same county as this place so a friend of mine and I spent considerable time traveling there to have an hour with a cricket coach and we were essentially completely blown off. We arrived at 10:00 a.m. as was confirmed in an automated text response included here. The doors were locked and no one was inside. I called the number I had called to speak with someone weeks prior. No answer. I then received a text from what I'm assuming was an automated response system. I called again and this gentleman who claimed to be the owner picked up and was seemingly completely unaware there was anything scheduled. I explained that we'd had this booked in advance and he said he'd check to see what was going on and that he'd call me back. About ten minutes or so went by and I called again. No answer. Automated text response. Call again, the alleged owner answers saying the original coach didn't have a means of transportation to get there, so they were trying to get someone to give him a lift in, which they said would take 15 minutes. My friend and I waited the amount of time, then left. It was ultimately about 10:40 before anyone had shown up to let us in or keep the appointment and that was 40 minutes after we were supposed to start and ten minutes late to their already late attempt to meet us. Here is where I'm addressing their response in the Google review: "On the day of your session, there was a breakdown in our internal communication that resulted in the coach not being on site at your scheduled start time, and we failed to clearly update you in a timely manner." This is an absolute insult to my intelligence and I really resent empty responses like this from businesses trying to get out of blame. "Failing to clearly update" would have to involve actual communication for it to be "unclear" in the first place. They completely blew us off. Nobody gave a remote damn or cared to. This is nonsense on the owner's part and in their vacuous apology I'm sure I'm going to get for this review I'd prefer if they actually just outright said they blew us off and didn't care about our time rather than using vague language to intimate they tried but weren't clear. That's insane. They never contacted me and they never planned to. The fact the owner had no idea what was going on means that nobody contacted him saying that they were running late for an appointment. So my honest assessment is the person in question completely forgot and a semi-feasible story about transportation issues was thrown in rather than owning up to the truth. There's no accountability here. This is just my addressing of their nonsensical response to my original review as I found their language rather insulting and misleading; there was no attempt at being accountable or communicating anything, I should never have had to call AS my appointment was supposed to start, that's absolutely unacceptable on a business' part. Be clear when you respond to this one: there was no attempt to communicate. It wasn't "unclear," it was non-existent. If I hadn't, you never would have. It continues further that the alleged owner then asked if I had paid in advance, which thankfully I hadn't and that I didn't come up in the system or the system didn't "ping," something to that effect because I hadn't and it's not that I took offense or thought the blame was being shifted on me it's using that as an excuse instead of owning up to nobody cared to keep the appointment. How can I not be in the system when the system confirmed my appointment? This place doesn't deserve any patronage, it's a shame they're the only one in the area. Very very poorly run operation, they don't value anyone's time, don't bother. Travel out of town for a better one if you have to.

Unfortunately, it wouldn't post correctly, so I'm reposting it in English to make sure my review is published. Scandia Family Fun Center will always hold a special place in my heart. For many years, I brought my children here to celebrate several of their birthdays, and we always had an amazing time. Between the batting cages, go-karts, and arcade games, there was never a shortage of things to do. My kids had so much fun that they never wanted to leave, and I loved seeing them enjoy themselves and burn off all that energy. These are the kinds of memories you cherish forever--watching your children grow up and celebrating special moments in a place that always delivered a great experience. To me, Scandia isn't just a family entertainment center; it's part of my family's story. I highly recommend Scandia Family Fun Center to anyone looking to spend quality time with their children and create lasting memories.

I'm a SUPER BIG kid with a teeny tiny competitive streak so what better place to go than to Scandia. With a play card already in the car, we used the self service kiosk to load up on play points. Each arcade station costs so many points to play. The machine accepted cash, cards and mobile pay. A few of the machines were broken, so after the machine took our points with no play we approached the counter and were credited via the play card. There were racing games with cars and motorcycles, shooting simulators, street fighter/mortal combat style games, asteroids, pac man, air hockey and more. The Fast & Furious racing simulator is the best, power ups, nitro packs, the setup of the steering wheel and pedal felt real, the interface was super engaging. My husband and I went head to head and it was incredible! This game is literally the reason I picked Scandia. Miniature golf too, we did both grounds - 18 holes each. We had a grand ol' time. Our daughter and I usually venture to Scandia for her playdates and for her play, but this time was amazing since I got to play too esp play what I wanted to play without compromise. I already recommend and enjoy every visit here.
