Called Hanks as they were they were suggested by Samsung to repair my dryer. The first time we had…read moresomeone come, he pulled apart my entire dryer and told us that they just needed to replace the drum belt but also replaced pulley's and a few other parts. The first repair person told us that we had a 3 month warranty. After the first repair, our dryer started making a nose that sounded like metal gridding against each other, we thought, maybe it's the new parts molding to the dryer but as the weeks progressed it got worse. So I called Hanks because their repair person was the last to touch the dryer. They send a different repair person to my house. Again, he pulls apart the entire dryer and tells me one of the parts is broken and I need to pay for it. NO THANKS...it's a part that you replaced. For some reason, the first repair man did not note it on the work order but verbally told us what he replaced. I told Repair man #2 that I was not paying for it and he can call who he needs to in order to do the job because had repair man #1 not touched what was not broken then we wouldn't be in the position. Repair man #2 called his "boss" who spoke with my husband and while speaking with my husband told him "why did you wait for 2 months" fair enough, but I have a warranty for a reason and I'm going to use it because again, it's a part that a repair person from Hank's replaced. Repair man #2's "boss" tells him to take him off of speaker phone not knowing I can still hear him and says to him "do you have the part? if so, replace it and tell them to fuck off and get the hell out of there" Perhaps you want to try and track who repair person #2 was speaking with and train them on their customer service and professionalism.

Extremely disappointed with Goemans and their absolutely unacceptable customer service…read more I have never dealt with a company that has made something as simple as purchasing and receiving a washing machine this frustrating. To start, the delivery time was completely unreliable. The delivery kept getting pushed later and later into the day, hours beyond the time window I was given. That alone was incredibly frustrating, but unfortunately, that was only the beginning. We purchased a brand-new washing machine, only to discover that it made an absolutely HORRIBLE noise during the spin cycle. And when I say horrible, I mean you could hear this machine two floors away. It was so loud and obnoxious that there was clearly something wrong with it. I contacted Goemans and was initially told I would have to wait an entire week just to have someone come and look at a brand-new appliance. After multiple phone calls and considerable persistence on my part and my husband, they finally managed to arrange someone to come on the weekend. Three technicians came out. I specifically explained the noise and told them that the problem occurred during the spin cycle. Did they wait for the spin cycle to happen? No. They looked at the machine, let it run to a small spin cycle apparently decided everything was fine, and left. I wish I could say I was surprised. As their vehicle was literally pulling away from my house, the washing machine went straight back into the same obnoxious, ridiculously loud spin cycle. At this point, I called their service number again, expecting someone to actually help resolve the problem. Instead, I was told that they couldn't get in touch with the repair or delivery drivers and that I would have to make ANOTHER appointment for the following week. They also would not pass me along to a supervisor or give a name of a supervisor. Who's running this ridiculousness??? This isn't customer service. This is making the customer do all of the work while Goemans passes the problem from one department to another. The amount of time, effort and frustration I have had to put into resolving a problem with an appliance that should have worked properly when I bought it is completely unacceptable. Goemans needs to seriously reconsider what they consider to be customer service. Because from my experience, it has been some of the worst service I have encountered. I should not have to repeatedly call, chase appointments, explain the same problem over and over, and essentially prove that my brand-new washing machine is defective. If you're considering purchasing from Goemans, think twice about what happens AFTER they take your money. The sale may be easy, but apparently getting help when something goes wrong is an entirely different story. I hate that I have to even give one star. Very disappointed! And really for a savings of $30!

Sean was amazing he took so much time explaining to us the different brands and even went so far as to bring a washer I was considering to the back of the shop. He hooked it up and let it run a complete cycle so I could see and hear for myself how well it work. Upon delivery of my new washing machine I called Sean to let him know that I did not receive the hot and cold water hose. He explained that they are no longer included but said it was no big deal and he would drop it off for me. To my surprise Sean took time out of his day to go to home depot and purchase the hose free of charge to me and bring it to my house. In this day and age that level of service is unheard of. I am so grateful for everything and highly recomment Appliance Bazaar ok Kennedy to everyone. And I absolutely love my new Huebsch washer. Thanks a million Sean.

When she was calling the day before five times throughout the day on the day it was promised, they never answered. After the last time I called from my cell (not on file) and they immediately picked up... what a coincidence. It was in the next day - but ended up being a different model and we had to notice it and mention it. They don't check model #'s at the warehouse and in receiving apparently, it was shady business. But we still got a deal I guess - lower price than what we seen online even though we got suckered into getting an older model that we didn't really want. I just didn't want to wait 2 more weeks to get something from costco...

On several occasions I have turned to Oshawa Appliance parts to assist with repairing my home…read moreappliances. They have helped me with my clothes dryer, side by side refrigerator/freezer and my oven. Each time they have provided excellent service. Most recently I called them confident that the ice maker auger motor had broken on my fridge. They recommended bringing in the part to have it tested before ordering it ($160 part). I did take it in and they bench tested it for free, confirming that it, and the solenoid that controls the motor were working correctly. Puzzled, I investigated further (there are a lot of great DIY appliance sites out there with detailed videos) and found that my problem was a couple of broken plastic tabs on a $12 part. I couldn't be happier that I did not waste money on a repair service call, or a motor that did not need replacing. DIY has saved me a lot of money and I have OAP to thank for that.
