The first time we had…read moresomeone come, he pulled apart my entire dryer and told us that they just needed to replace the drum belt but also replaced pulley's and a few other parts. The first repair person told us that we had a 3 month warranty. After the first repair, our dryer started making a nose that sounded like metal gridding against each other, we thought, maybe it's the new parts molding to the dryer but as the weeks progressed it got worse. So I called Hanks because their repair person was the last to touch the dryer. They send a different repair person to my house. Again, he pulls apart the entire dryer and tells me one of the parts is broken and I need to pay for it. NO THANKS...it's a part that you replaced. For some reason, the first repair man did not note it on the work order but verbally told us what he replaced. I told Repair man #2 that I was not paying for it and he can call who he needs to in order to do the job because had repair man #1 not touched what was not broken then we wouldn't be in the position. Repair man #2 called his "boss" who spoke with my husband and while speaking with my husband told him "why did you wait for 2 months" fair enough, but I have a warranty for a reason and I'm going to use it because again, it's a part that a repair person from Hank's replaced. Repair man #2's "boss" tells him to take him off of speaker phone not knowing I can still hear him and says to him "do you have the part? if so, replace it and tell them to fuck off and get the hell out of there" Perhaps you want to try and track who repair person #2 was speaking with and train them on their customer service and professionalism.

They installed the dishwasher and took care of some plastic that was stuck in the drain plug. Their service was outstanding and very reasonable. My washing machine broke down a week after the dishwasher. It was 25 years old. They told me it wasn't worth repairing. I was so impressed with them that I bought a rebuilt machine from them. Absolutely terrible company…read more Had a service call placed, and was not informed of the service charge. Tech was in my home for less than 5 minutes and stated "this is a known issue, unplug your appliance for 24hrs" and then proceeded to bill me their full service charge. Called the main number for my area (905 728 0654) and requested to speak with the manager, was told I was. Spoke with an extremely rude man, who said "what would you like us to do, stand there and defrost it for you". I also let him know that there are many service companies that state on their website that they do not bill if they do not repair. He continued to try and argue with me. He apparently missed the point entirely, and has now lost my business, as well as referrals. Not only did they bill me for nothing, the 'manager/owner' lacks common sense, and customer service. I do not expect things for free, however billing me $62 to tell me to unplug my fridge for a day is outrageous.

What a nightmare. Luckily I was able to stem the tide, turn off the cycle, and mopped up the floor with every item of cloth in my linen closet. More importantly, Your Guys sent a man out the next day who showed up and fixed a broken sensor. Washing machine repaired right away and without fuss. Great job!! This was a very old stove in a rental property, and it did not make sense spending that kind of money to fix it. While he had the dryer apart, he noticed the belt was cracked and had stretched over time. It was replaced. A thorough cleaning was done including sensors. The dryer is operating like new.
