My friend and his wife have been telling about this place for over a year…read more.. We finally had the chance to go last weekend on a whim we came here. Though my review is only about the quality of the food, I just want to say, the service here is warm and attentive. The menu is in three section a salad section to which you can make into a table d'hôte for 5$. Then there's the plats favoris section which is a table d'hôte section with various choices. Come with either soup, or salad, or entree and dessert. It's 25$, what? How is this possible! The last section meats table d'hôte, 45$. Has filet mignon, lamb shank, lamb chops and veal. We ordered from the plats favoris for 25$ The entrée was mushroom puff pasty, it was flaky, mushroom was creamy but not too rich, well balanced mushroom to pastry ratio. For this to be part of a table d'hôte impressed me. Next I chose the butternut squash ravioli in rosée sauce. Ravioli cooked just right, filling was nice and sauce well balanced. I had the mascarpone with raspberry jam dessert. Light sweet and tangy, nothing fancy but nice. All this for 25$? See you next week?

I found this Meridional via an online search and based on great reviews and proximity to our…read morelocation, we gave it a shot. All I have to say is that our 9 family members were all very happy that we found a quality restaurant at all levels (food, service, pricing and atmosphere). We found a gemstoneand this is our "go to" everytime we have a family get together. Unfortunately, my wife and I live in Colorado, although I am convinced that my family members will pay a visit to the owners for a 5-star experience at a very affordable cost. I wish them a full restaurant on all the 4 nights they are open. A must try and you will definitely make it one of your favorite.

Pooh and I have been wanting to experience this restaurant for a while now. The atmosphere was…read moreupscale without being pretentious. We wanted to try the Tomahawk but it wasn't on the menu so we decided to do steak on another day. To drink we ordered the apple cider. The cider was delicious and very crispy like I was eating a Cortland apple. We were served crispy bread with herb butter. The bread was crispy like toast and the butter was soft. It came with a small jar of baby dill pickles. They had a good crunch! We started with the lobster bisque. This bisque was very tasty. We could taste the lobster and it was very light; not a heavy or overly creamy soup. Pooh ordered the seafood risotto and I took the Dijon chicken. Both dishes were amazing. Pooh really enjoyed his risotto. He likes the addition of zucchini to give it a little crunch . The seafood was cooked to perfection. My chicken was super tender. I could taste the Dijon mustard. The mashed potatoes were smooth and the green beans were crispy and cooked perfectly. Our server was very polite and checked on us regularly. He apologized for not getting the wine when our meal arrived. Our only complaint was the wine. Usually the wine arrives right before the meal but our meal arrived first and we ate slowly as we waited for the wine to come. The wine arrived five minutes later and the server explained that it wasn't cold enough to give us. By the time I finished eating (because we had to wait for the wine) my potatoes were cold. We finished our evening with dessert. I had the lemon-in-a-jar and Pooh had the Crème brûlée. Pooh's crème brûlée was perfect. My lemon dessert was too sweet. The tartness of the lemon was overpowered by the sweetness of the almond crumble We enjoyed our meal and the service was excellent but they need to put the white wine in a cooler sooner.

So I stopped into this spot since it had good reviews before I head out on the road. In a decent…read morearea and I didn't have to pay for parking since I wasn't there long so that's good. I order a salmon meal. The salmon was tasteless but thankfully the sauce helped it. The mocktail was good. They had quite good amount of people there on a Sunday but definitely had open tables if I wanted to sit at a two seater but they suggested I go to the bar which is huge, but no one else was sitting there. Overall an okay spot, nice inside, my one dish was mediocre but not sure what the other dishes taste like.
