I am very disappointed with the customer service I received today over the phone from the manager/team leader at your establishment. I called to report an issue with my recent order, which was delivered cold, and the chicken I received was extremely overcooked. While attempting to explain the issue, I was repeatedly cut off mid sentence, and my concerns were completely dismissed. I was rudely told several times, "That's not our problem," and instructed to contact DoorDash. I attempted to explain that overcooked food is a preparation issue, not a delivery issue, but the representative was dismissive and ultimately hung up on me. This behavior was unprofessional, unacceptable, and very disappointing. I have always enjoyed and supported Broadway Pizza; however, after this encounter, I will no longer eat at or order from your establishment. I will also be informing my family and friends of my experience and the unprofessional behavior I encountered from one of your employees. read more

I went here on a whim with my family. The place is pretty spacious and welcoming. It reminds me of any other pizza joint except they have a bar; our waitress was really nice and informative about the menu. I ordered a personal pizza and a drink. The pizza wasn't bad, I liked the fact that I could add almost anything I wanted on the pizza, including fresh mozzarella. They have a lot of items on their menu to try out for people who eat meat such as wings( traditional & boneless) , sandwiches and so many pizza toppings. They also have a lunch buffet and offer delivery. They seem to be one of the popular pizza places in MN, so as I always say; if you're in the area and your hungry for pizza or chicken, definitely give them a try. read more

Have been ordering pizzas from here for around 10 years. For some strange reason, every time I ask for triple the amount of sauce, they never do it!! I call ahead and tell them 3 times and tell them to walk back to the kitchen and tell the cook and still refuse to do it. Now I tell them that I will have them remake the pizzas if there isn't extra sauce. Again tonight, same thing ask 5 times, no extra sauce. Remade the pizzas and STILL......... DRY CARDBOARD!!!! Frankly, I was there pick up an order, once arrived @ restaurant no one was there to greet me nor assist me, I stood there for 15 minute counting-the gray hair bartender was there didn't say single words. We went there a couple nights ago for a drink and spent a long time dealing with an emotionally disturbed person trying to pick fights and threatening other customers. The bartender was the only employee in the place and was scared. She was lucky to have several of us willing to stay until she locked up and was safely in her car. Police were tied up on a shooting so that wasn't an option. Amazing that management would leave a single employee to close up. Gas Stations require two people... this bar doesn't? They don't even have actual hours. We were told that the employee could have closed the bar down at 9 PM it was her choice. What kind of business model is that... If I could give zero stars, I would. Broadway BP brought in new management and got rid of my favorite bartender Keith. Apparently their friends needed jobs. He was their most dedicated employee and was blindsided on Thursday when he came into work. I live 2 miles and it took an hour and half for three items to be delivered and it was like the driver drove around that whole time with our food, it was cold (same as the last time). The fries were limp, the cheese on the pizza was almost hard and the crust soggy, the pickle along side the burger was warmest item we got. After several attempts and doubting our own judgement - we tried once again to utilize the closest location to our home because we grew up on Broadway Pizza. AGAIN we were completely disappointed by the horrendous customer service. I can not believe how rude the people are that work there. From the moment you walk thru the door - wether they are busy or not, they are just rude. last time it was just before 9 p.m. we stopped in for 1 beer, told hostess who was coloring something, that we would seat ourselves in the bar. only 3 people at the bar - 1 table and 4 people outside on patio. we decided to grab a high top table. Bartender instantly glared at us, I asked for water while waited for my sister in law to join me. Bartender barked at me asking if I had seated myself ...I said "yeah, kinda, I told the hostess I was going to the bar" with that the bartender storms off to the kitchen. Another waitress approaches me and states "ma'm , we do not allow customers to seat themselves". Bartender behind her glaring at me. When did I do something wrong? I asked what the is the obsession with where I sit and who sat me - I am in bar area and you have 10 customers in here at most..? with that the manager screamed at me to leave for not following the rules, told me to "move it" as I was walking out the door. He called me a "drunk, who should think about sobering up" I was completely sober - I had just come from city council meeting. Again this was just the final straw for us at this location ...the staff has always been rude and unfriendly, the food is not as good as other Broadway locations. PS - I left Brooklyn Park and drove straight to The Champlin location and was treated so much better - they were much busier and did not hassle me about where I sat myself in the bar area. read more

Stopped at Broadway for dinner and service was excellent. Broadway has some of the better pizza in town. Service was friendly at this location and food arrived very quick. We requested cheesy bread before the pizza and it was on our table hot and fresh within a matter of minutes. The bar has new TV's and the restaurant was clean. I have been to other Broadway locations and this one for being new has great service at least on my visit. It's a little more on the spendy side for pizza but the service and quality of pizza easily makes up for it. They also have very good root beer that the restaurant buys by the keg. Great place to bring the family for a night out for some good pizza. It's in a great location and worth checking out. read more

The Bartender Julie and her co worker mixed up fabulous margaritas (Beergaritas) In its 1st week being open. I've never seen the lot empty. They've picked a prime location. This has been one of our favorite go-to restaurants in the area, especially during lunch hours. I'm slowly getting turned off at my visits because their Lunch Punch Cards are increasingly difficult to use. It depends which server we get whether they can be used, or not. Today, our server who also stated she is the Manager claimed the punch cards are only for buffets. Absolutely nothing on the card states such a thing. As a matter of fact, the 10th punch is for a "FREE LUNCH" "up to $9.49 value". I generally hate these cards just because of situations such as this, but I played the game. Not to mention that the parking lot (Champlin location) has pot holes the size of the quasar. I suppose I'll still eat here due to its convenient location, just hope I don't get a Manager as a server again. read more

Customer service was absolutely horrible. I have heard that the food was great and I decided to try the pizza and cheese curds. The pizza was great. Cheese curds, were kinda cold. So I will pass on those next time. However I will NEVER go to this location again. The host was new and having a hard time taking orders on the phone and a clocked out employee had to help him and take my order as well which took 45 minutes to be done and not the 20 mins that the host stated. No one else in the restaurant cared that people were waiting to be seated or serviced and no one greeted me at all. Nor at the bar and or in the restaurant period. We placed an order online on a Sunday evening at 6:00PM. The online email confirmation said it would be delivered at 7:30PM. I called the restaurant at 8:00PM to check the status of the delivery, only to be told they were not doing deliveries that night. The person on the other end was not at all helpful, saying, "Well, uhhhh, we can't deactivate the website. Do you want to come pick it up?" I don't understand why they couldn't have called us when the order went through to explain they weren't delivering. I called them the next day at around noon and asked for the general manager so I could explain what happened. I was placed on hold for 10 minutes, then told he was busy but would return my call. I never received a call. We've ordered several times from Broadway, but this will be the last. We waited at home for 2 hrs when we could have easily gone in or went elsewhere, and there was no effort to connect when I called and said I'd like to talk to the GM due to a negative experience the night prior. read more

Called in for a delivery and I am a regular customer. I was placed on hold then the gentleman came back and told me they stopped doing deliveries just 2 minutes earlier while I was on hold. I said while I was on hold? He said yes and then I asked for a manager and he said there is only a shift manager here. I said please get them. A woman came to the phone and said they were not doing deliveries so I asked for the manager and she said she would get him. I said the guy just said the manager was not there but only a shift manager was there. She placed me on hold and went to get the manager and then came back and said he says to tell you he is busy and not coming to the phone. She said I apologize but that is all I got to say. I said that does not go together: I apologize and that is all I got to say but the audacity of a restaurant I supported when they had no dine in due to Covid-19....this customer service is the worse. I called from a different cell phone and ask to speak with a supervisor. I got Brad who explained to me that he ran the place and was too busy to find out why I was being hung-up on. My husband and I have stopped ordering from here, even though we love the food and it is located 5 minutes from our house. Every time we ordered from here, the order was incorrect. We liked to order the Meat on Broadway, but with the Canadian bacon on one half only. Well, they NEVER got the "one-half" portion correct. After the THIRD time this happened, my husband (who managed a pizza restaurant for 8 years) called, they said they would fix it, and my husband offered to bring the "bad" pizza back (typical in the business for educational purposes). When my husband got there, the manager came out and looked at the pizza, telling us that it was correct. My husband stated the Canadian Bacon was supposed to be on only one side (as the receipt stated) and pointed out the Canadian bacon. The manager then got extremely unprofessional/rude and said that was not Canadian bacon, but rather pepperoni. My husband proceeded to show him an ACTUAL pepperoni. The manager finally conceded after making a scene. But they hadn't started making the remake pizza! So he then had to sit there for 30 minutes while they made the correct pizza! After 6 months of not ordering, we had people over for the Super Bowl and they really wanted Broadway, so we decided to give it another try. Low and behold, they screwed up the order the exact same way AND managed to screw up the other pizza. We didn't even bother trying to get it fixed. Do not order from this location! read more

Came on a Sunday evening on 5/22/16 with a group of friends & I have to say the service was Absolutely horrible. It's a disappointment because I had always wanted to try this place out since they opened and was excited to stop in finally, but goodness gracious, it didn't turn out as I had hoped. The service was slow and our servers were super crabby and horribly rude! Our main server who was working the bar that evening had a terrible attitude and I even caught her rolling eyes a few times. Her and the other server who was helping both didn't seem to acknowledge our service at all and they looked as if they'd never seen or served to Asian people before. A few of my friends and I wanted to leave to a different place but then we thought that we'd stay and make the best of the rest our evening. Little did we even know, how server had gone on break without even letting anyone in our group know. A couple of us, including me, we were waiting at the bar for literally almost 10 minutes to order some drinks. My guy friend had asked where our server went & one of the workers said she had left to go on break. Like, WTF?! Why didn't she say anything. On top of that, the other lady who was sort of helping her out earlier was at the bar, while we were waiting for almost 10 minutes, even when she wasn't even doing anything! How rude is that! By then, I was super impatient, dissatisfied and also pissed. We left the place immediately and headed on out to Fiesta Cancun a few blocks down & they gave us and exceptional and very friendly service! Last week was my first time getting any food from this location so I thought I would order again tonight. Service was great last week, terrible tonight. When I called to place my order the host told me he was new (he was getting trained in) so everything was a back/forth process as he conveyed everything to his host trainer in which I had to repeat things multiple times as he kept forgetting what I was asking for. I told him I wanted the chicken tortellini with the Italian herb vinaigrette on the salad. He conveyed they don't have that. I said your menu shows you have Italian dressing, to which he asks and the host says "oh we have Italian". Huh...didn't I just ask for that? Next I try to order the classic deluxe pizza. Last week I got it and it was fabulous. I had substituted the green peppers for bacon without issue but tonight was told they cannot substitute...that I would need to take the green peppers or be charged to take them off. Are you nuts?!? I was like you make the pizza fresh so taking off an item would not result in me being charged more and that last week I was not charged to substitute an item (I ordered from the gal at the bar and if I am not adding in any items it is was just an ingredient swap of one item for another at no charge). Given they had me in the system and called me by name I asked if they could pull up my order from last week. They did and although they could see I wasn't charged more they just sat on the phone. In my disgust, I just said "forget it...I am not going to order" and hung up as it was obvious both were clueless. Unfortunate to have staff uninformed and more so, willing to let a sale slip by. Not sure if the owner would appreciate knowing this is the service (or lack of) you are providing. Very disappointing. read more

Don't get me wrong - I love this place for the convenient location. The waitresses have the exact right combo of friendliness and leave-you-aloneness. The atmosphere & decor are so much fun, especially when you have kids. The tap and drinks are a-okay. That's what earns this place 3 stars. But there is so much room for improvement. The hostess is a strangely snobbish teenager, and they act surprised and inconvenienced when you ask for a high chair for your baby. The food is the worst. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs and a kiddie pizza, and the salad came out almost immediately after I ordered it. Now, I don't mean to complain about fast service, but at least ACT like it was prepared fresh! Bland iceberg, mealy refrigerated tomatoes, and flavorless cucumbers served with croutons that I actually lacerated the roof of my mouth with. They don't have balsamic vinegar or vinaigrette, but they have that crappy "Italian dressing" from a container. Then the main courses came. The spaghetti was overcooked and served with "Italian bread" that was really salty and not at all garlicky. Only 2 meatballs, which were perfectly adequate, but not flavorful. But the sauce... Oh, the horror! Imagine Prego, but with two tablespoons of sugar added and remove any resemblance of herbs. I mean, it's July for crying out loud. You almost have to TRY to NOT get fresh herbs in your kitchen! The kiddie pizza was exactly what I was expecting after the spaghetti. Cheese, good. Sauce, awful. Crust, bland, thawed, no texture of crisp. They called it New York style, which brings me to my final point: I just moved here from New York, and I'm Italian. So perhaps you should take this review with a grain of salt, but I don't think so. What I think is that you, Broadway Pizza, should think about where dining is headed in 2015 to stay alive. Fresh ingredients, artisanal recipes, and AUTHENTIC flavors. You have none of those, which sucks, because I so want to love you. Keep trying! read more
