I came in with a very low budget and told her what I wanted exactly. She took me to what was asked for and then asked a very important questions (I can't remember the question exactly lol) BUT he question she asked was open ended and was in relation to can you see yourself here for the next 15 months that's a whole year and 3 months. I loved it but I said no.... I couldn't. Then she asked me and my wife what we thought was missing. She said it was a little smaller and we have growing boys. Long story short I came in with a budget and left spending more than I wanted and I have been here for 15months enjoying the ride. I have been with Camden for 3 years and that was by choice they kind of spoiled us. We have had the sink & tub clog up - Don't panic just make a service request We have had 's - same thing just make a service request We have young kids and they got really loud - I know our neighbors hate our guts lol but they never have been rude. Parking was amazing at first now parking is a little more difficult. Overall I went through a career change and funds got extremely tight. In all honesty Camden should have thrown me and my family out due to the times I was late on rent, but they worked with us through that tough time and gave me a chance to make it all right. On my first bonus check I cleared all balances. In conclusion I'm not writing this review because I was asked to Im writing this review to inform everyone 3 things. Camden is a great location with amazing tradition and an amazing company story from how they have expanded to how they treat their employees. Camden is more expensive then other apartments you will not have to deal with majority of the annoying things that come with renting an apartment. Camden is not affiliated in any way with myself who I work for or my family. They have their flaws they have their systems in place to correct those flaws as well. And I don't harbor any ill feelings about that, it's actually one of the biggest turn ons. And if you don't believe me, check her out on cam den you will. We've been looking for a new place to live, further from the bustle of inner city Houston, and Katy is somewhere we've always strongly considered because of all the great food that is here, although Houston food is much better, and we've been thinking of moving to Katy because of how quiet and unspoiled it is. Besides, Katy is actually about the same distance from Chinatown (feels like it anyway) and Spring Branch as Downtown Houston (which is near where we live), so in that regard, it wouldn't be as far from the best of Houston anyway. Plus it might be good for Barbi's work, but then again it might not in some ways, as it's mostly Galleria work and Airport work. Anyway we've checked out a bunch of different apartment buildings and these guys were pretty nice and pretty accommodating, but the horror stories from the current residents that we've spoken to, and some of the things we observed when we slept over for a night with someone that lives here (who also has lots of stories), and then the other reviews, this place ended up being anything but something that we would want to be involved with. I just find the juxtaposition between the amount they charge for tiny little violations of a very strange code of conduct, versus how non-existent security is, and inappropriate interpretations of rules just for profit, even as much as towing people away that actually live here (we were worried about it when we stayed, but apparently even residents are). Definitely not going to get more than three from me. And probably won't be moving in. Not to mention they raise the price dramatically on a regular basis. But based on how beautiful it is, it's 5 stars all the way. It's so sad that so many property management companies make so many beautiful properties a bit of a nightmare to live in.

Parkside Grand Parkway has been an amazing home for us. We adore the office staff and the…read moremanagement group here. They even helped us move our couch into our unit on move in day. Anytime you need their assistance they are quick with emails or phone calls. I can't say enough wonderful things about how we are treated here. I knew this would be something special from the very first tour we took of the apartments. The units are spacious with elegant upgrades in the kitchen and bathrooms. Our 1 bedroom unit is on the ground floor with beautiful hardwood flooring. Each unit includes a full size washer and dyer. The complex is extremely pet friendly. Everyone has a dog or two and there are two dog play areas. The area by the lap pool has a dog spa as well to wash your dogs and there are bags all over the place to pick up after your pet. In the year we have been here we have never had an issue with bugs, the ac, or any kind of theft/vandalism what-so-ever. Our ice machine was not working when we first moved in and it took only one phone call to have maintenance out to work on it right away. If we were not trying to relocate closer to our jobs, this would be our home for years. I would highly recommend Parkside Grand Parkway to anyone wanting to move to the Katy/Cinco Ranch area.

Any problem is solved in a timely manner and all front office staff are so approachable. Theresa, Michelle and Barbara are all amazing. Same goes for the maintenance staff. Nothing is ever a problem! (Our last apartment had management that never got back to you, the pool, gym and common areas were never taken care of properly and were closed half the time) Parkside was such a nice change!! Location is great too. Walking to Kroger and Wiilowfork park. Even La Centerra if you like a long walk. Just a great place to live.

There's also mold on the window panes, and the screens are broken, so we can't even open our windows for fresh air without letting more bugs inside. Pest control has been sent out well over 10 times and they do a little spray, but the problems remain the same. I even had a silverfish fall onto my desk from the ceiling while I was working from home. The infestation has gotten so bad that we cannot sleep in our own beds due to multiple findings of them crawling in the beds. We've had to sleep on the couch and even stay in hotels when we can, just to feel safe and comfortable. It's sad and unfair because we can't keep affording extra costs on top of already paying rent for an unlivable home. Photos I've taken don't even capture to the full extent at all of how many pests we've seen since living here. The trash areas around the property are also constantly overflowing, which only adds to the pest problem and makes the community look neglected. On top of this, the noise levels are unbearable you can hear constant stomping, furniture moving, microwaves beeping and closing, full phone conversations, and even neighbors snoring through the walls and ceilings. The ceiling vibrates from the noise, making it impossible to feel comfortable at home. We've brought these issues to management repeatedly, but nothing has been resolved even though the environment is clearly unlivable and unsafe. This community is severely overpriced for the conditions it puts residents through. Between the pests, water damage, mold, dirty, poorly maintained pool, and noise, you will not find peace of mind here. Save yourself the stress and do not move into this property.

I have lived in many complexes throughout the Houston, Texas area and comparing these, I have found them to be a five star complex. I would like to commend the Management Staff, Trish and her assistants for their professionalism and courteous demeanor. They have handled any questions or concerns I have had during my 10 months here in a fast, professional and courteous way. I have had a few issues that needed attention by maintenance and have had a great response from them as well. I would rate them a five star as well. Sergio, Jaime and Isabel(Housekeeping) have done an outstanding job and remain doing so. Furthermore, I find the residents to be respectful and courteous of each other. It has been a pleasure living here and I plan on renewing my contract and staying another year. I highly recommend these to anyone that is interested in living in a positive and nice apartment community!

A few things we appreciate around the community are the parking, convenient grocery carts located by the elevator which make transporting heavy groceries very easy, and the valet trash pick up. This is a quiet and peaceful community and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for senior living in the Katy area. Shoutout to Katherine for helping us along the way. Walls are super thin (poor insulation). If someone is yelling, crying, knocks the wall, you can hear it. Unfortunately a family lives underneath me (1 bedroom units). I have to listen to their kid jumping around, crying and banging the walls constantly. They also love to blast their music during the day, but nothing is done about it (after multiple complaints). I've even knocked on their door several times but they never answer. I was advised they don't speak English, which I'm not sure about based on the music. Other than that it's a nice community and neighborhood.

We have neighbors right across from us that leave their dogs unattended on the balcony. Th y are two small dogs that bark constantly when left outside. We have spoken to them once before since they used to let them out at 4:30 AM - 6:00 AM in the morning, yes, the morning! I woke up and saw the neighbor just walking around his house as the two dogs continued barking. They have since started again letting them out in the morning as well as the afternoon/night. They do not stop barking. We live in **** and the other neighbors have also been upset since one does have a small child and it disrupts their sleep. Their balcony is directly in front of our window. They live to the left of us, if you were facing the street (Park Row/Colonial). I am writing this e-mail since the letter you sent states that "Pete may not be left unattended on the patio or balcony). Is there anything we can do? My husband and I work early (6:00/7:00 AM) and aren't fond of waking up two hours before we have to. We also have a dog that is NEVER on the balcony and does not bark constantly outside for hours. We have been very patient with them and have lived here for two years now and have had no problems. We have contemplated ending our lease once this is over due to the sudden noise issues we are having. This community is great and it is usually quiet but this has really bothered us and we don't see ourselves living here after the two years are up unless the neighbors quiet their dogs or move. Sorry to have to send in this notice as we don't want to be rude about our neighbors but it has gotten to be a burden Thank you for understanding, I suggest if you are considering living here.. GO ELSEWHERE UPDATE: don't move here if you can avoid this place. Like every other review, management is AWFUL. They are some of the rudest people I have ever met. They are opening an apartment complex down the way and we will probably be moving there. Hopefully it's better than this place.
