Rudy Oliva tattooed my daughter, one day after turning 18. He was amazing. He explained the whole process to her and made both her and me feel comfortable. He took his time doing the tattoo. He explained the healing and after care process to us in detail. He also told us that if we had any questions to call or text him. Not only was he nice but so were the other guys working with him. With my paw print tattoo count now up to three, I felt the need to update on my experiences. And the update is, this place (and Omar) is consistent. First, they stay busy. Every time I'm there at least three others are awaiting a artist. 90's hip hop is a constant soundtrack and quality care is a staple. Three times I have lost a furry family member and three times Omar has been empathic during my visit. He always makes me feel comfortable with the option to change the size and/or location of the ink outline before we start and he occasionally checks in on me (but without constant conversation, which I prefer). Table and work space is pristine and I am always amazed at how quickly the experience is over. I don't have any plans for tattoos (aside from my fourth paw print), but if I think of one Broad Street Tattoo will definitely be at the top of my list. read more

I got my ears pierced here by the girl who does the piercings and she was knowledgeable, taught me how to care for my piercings which usually otherwise get infected pretty easily, she wasn't pushy, she was very professional, and my ears have healed beautifully. My husband and I came to Augusta for a getaway. Every time we get away together we get a little tattoo to signify the place we were vesting. We wanted small golf tees, as Augusta is known for the Masters. We walked into a few shops and did not get a good feel, so we turned around and left. We walked into Broadstreet, but was informed they were all booked and might be able to get to us later. So we left our number, and was promised that they would not forget about us. Around 330 we received a phone call from Broadstreet. We hurried back to get our tattoos. Before we even got in the door they recognized us, knew exactly what we wanted and open the door for us. Everyone in the shop was so nice pleasant and accommodating and warm. The shop was extremely clean as well!. I can't tell you what a pleasant experience it was! Dae was the artist who did my golf tee, he was the most light handed that I have ever had. I literally did not even know he was tattooing me at first. Straight lines and perfect shading. Rudy did my husbands golf tee, he said it was a very light handed tattoo as well, also, with perfect straight lines and amazing shading and highlighting. One of our main concerns was that the golf tee would end up looking like a nail. But it definitely doesn't look like a nail, it looks exactly like a golf tee. There's two types of tattoo parlors, the dingy, sketchy kind, and the clean, professional kind. This one is the later, plus some. It's very clean and spacious so people aren't all on top of each other while they're getting their work down. When I entered I was immediately greeted by the girl at the desk who was very nice and professional. I told them what I was looking for, my son's name on my arm. They introduced me to Dean, their artist who specializes in script. We talked about what I wanted and what he could do. The conversation was very two-sided and no one was pushy to try to get things scheduled, he simply offered what he could do and gave me his schedule so I knew when I'd be able to get in if I wanted. While in there I noticed military patches on the wall and a sign that said if I bring a patch in I'll get 15% off of my tattoo. I scheduled the tattoo, came back with a patch and was charged a very, very reasonable rate. I absolutely love my tattoo and I'll be back in soon to get some more work done. read more

By far the best tattoo experience I've ever had. First of all, this is one of the most laid-back places I've ever been to. They are very welcoming, friendly and just all-around great people. I walked in with an idea and over the course of a few days Dean made it happen. He never pushed anything on me and if I suggested something that he didn't think would work, he not only told me but explained why. When I was good with his final drawing we went forward and I am nothing but pleased with the end result. Whether this is your 50th tattoo or your first these are the guys to go to. I loved my experience at this shop, the staff was all so nice and welcoming. My cousin and I called and went to multiple places looking for someone who would take walk-ins (we wanted smaller tattoos with basically just line work) and every place said no (understandable!!) but this shop said yes!!! And I'm so glad we went, we're both so happy with our pieces. They do typically only take appointments so we got lucky and I really appreciate them taking us. read more
