Went to get a quote on a tattoo. Lady at the front desk told me I had to get my tattoo large because of the elasticity in the skin and how it would shrink and all this garbage that didn't make sense. I got my nipples pierced here and my septum pierced here twice (first one closed up because of me). I have also received two tattoos from Sydney and I am in love with all of my piercings and tattoos. The staff is always welcoming and patient to answer all of my questions. I've had other artists before and nobody has made me feel as comfortable as Sydney. After 15 years I finally got my upper back finished. Shad spent about four hours working on my tattoo all while in a neck brace after he sketched out the idea. He gave me exactly what I was looking for it may not be for everyone but its what I envisioned. My next tattoo will definitely be done by Shad! Everyone in my family has tattoos and my daughters all have piercings too. When we come in everyone knows us. This establishment has great customer service and they are always willing to help you out. Buffy and David are always willing to answer questions and take the time to explain things like piercing costs, proper cleaning and ensure the paperwork is strait. Always remember when getting a tattoo, you get what you pay for so don't think cheaper is better! Sidney is always personable and takes time to explain everything before conducting a piercing. My daughters have had multiple piercings completed by her as well as my wife and they have all been successful. She even did my wife's last tattoo and it turned out great! We walked in to get tattoos. We wanted to get a small quote on our biceps. The person who drew our tattoo up made it too big and would not fit on our bicep. No one ever even looked at our biceps to see the size it would need to be. The woman( who was very rude might i add) said that the person who was going to do it wouldn't do it any smaller( mind you she never even went to ask the person if they could do it smaller). The size they drew up would've had to wrap around our arm. We drove from Columbia because we had gotten tattoos here years ago and loved their work. Well we won't come here again. We were were polite and SHE was rude. The customer service sucks !!!!!! They don't even deserve one star!! read more

Normally I would have went to Excalibur where I got my last smiley piercing and tatts. Kinda disappointed but glad in a sense or two. I've been waiting for my artist to text me back for 3 days now to only change out a smiley...maybe I grew impatient and thus ended up back here at Shane's! It was good to see an old familiar face! A nice pretty young lady changed me out in less than 5 mins! Very professional and COVID-19 friendly. Glad I didn't wait another day! I paid $5 for the jewelry (just plain silver for a smiley) but it was worth it the time and measly $5 as I was in and out just like that! I would not recommend this place at all. Came in for a nose piercing and the piercer used a general L bar stud and did not custom fit it, so it was WAY too big, moved around a ton and it was uncomfortable until I went to a better shop to get it changed a week later. The jewelry is cheap surgical steel (which I was sensitive too and it caused my piercing to not heal correctly) and the after care instructions I was given on how to take care of the piercing wasn't correct. The piercer was hard to understand because he mumbled the whole time and he OK'd me switching my ring out after 3/4 weeks when in reality it's supposed to stay in until your piercing is fully healed, which is around 6 months. I would not come back and don't recommend this place. Do not get pierced at this place. Find a reputable and more knowledgeable shop. read more

This business is very disorganized. The website told me a price, I called and was quoted the same price. Pulled in on Tuesday night to receive my piercings and they were closed. They have a sign that says they are open Mon-Sat but we're closed? I went back Wednesday afternoon and they told me that the website was wrong and the military discount their sign boldly advertises no longer a thing. The woman said I cursed at her so a man who works here came out asking me questions attempting to intimidate me. Needless to say this is not the place I would go to. Right afterwards I went to Dragon's Den Tattoo less that .5 miles away and was taken care of in less that 30 minutes. read more

I highly do not recommend my daughter went in for a septum piercing came back out it was too far back and they put it straight through cartilage we had to go to the doctor bc we couldn't remove it at home due to how much pain she was in we called back up there the lady who pierced her nose swore up and down she did it correctly and we even tipped her 10$ which she didn't deserve and she didn't do any marks or mirrors or care instructions dont take your kids to get there first piercing there if you dont want a mess! read more

I got a tattoo and within a week only scribble lines were left behind after peeling. I had a feeling I didn't get much ink any way. Asked for simple black and white butterflies on my wrist and THIS is what i got instead. I cried when I left. When I tried to ask the other coworkers they were all acting like NOTHING was wrong with his work and told me I just need to wait until it heals. I understand you want to stick up for your coworkers but anyone can see this was not done right AT ALL!! This is the worst tattoo I have EVER got but thank God it is getting fixed in 2 weeks when it heals. Even the people at the other shop was shocked when I told them I got this at a shop. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT GO HERE. Not only is their work bad but the way they treat their customers is awful.. I even have a video of the guy in the front counter raising his voice and getting real smart when I asked him his opinion about the work that was being done on me saying I obviously don't know nothing about tattoos and he didn't see anything wrong with the butterfly on my wrist.
