This coffee shop offers a few indoor seating options but there are more seating options are outside. Counter is in a bad place, mainly because it's a tight squeeze to get from one end of the shop to the other if you have a line of people waiting to order. You were constantly having to awkwardly pass by people very closely. If you needed to get to the other end of the coffee shop. Today we done the coffee flight. I ordered the hot coffee flight. Coffee was good. I would easily order this again. I also ordered a pumpkin pastry. However, when I received it, it looked like Apple. It tasted like apple. Either way it had good flavor.

I got their signature roast and it's great- no complaints. The downside is the parking isn't awesome to get in and out of and there was a young child, I assume one of the employees, behind the counter and everywhere. I am all about family friendly businesses and allowing working parents to adjust when needed but he was running around, to the point where I had to jump back, and all over the areas where they make the drinks which will have me avoid this place in the future.

This is a cute little shop situated inside Elliot's Provisions. While the scones looked amazing, I was on a mission for chai. The friendly barista informed me they have a few choices: a powdered chai (hard pass) and two choices of chai concentrate- sweet or spicy. The concentrate brand was, "Sanctuary Chai" which I've never tried, and the blend was "Spicy Honey Chai" so I figured it'd have that honey-sweet tang and hopefully a good hit of spice. I was correct on the honey-sweetness, but the spice level was on the lower end of the spiciness scale. Maybe it needed to be shook before being mixed, the milk:chai ratio was off, or it's just not that spicy. All-in-all, a passable chai but not really memorable nor craveable. The shop is cozy-cute, the staff are fast, friendly, and welcoming, but the chai is just meh. I regret not ordering a scone.

We stopped here on our way from beaufort South Carolina to Washington DC. Getting a coffee to have while we make our next stop in Hope mills at a Tesla charging station. I needed a good latte.... I could easily see this being our go to coffee shop if we lived nearby.. although I would probably come home with purchases often if I did!! I forgot to ask what brand oatmilk they use... my fault since I am particular. It has a somewhat chalky feel/taste. I just looked that up. It can be caused by several things:1. Brand of oatmilk, 2. Barista blend yes/no, 3. Temp too high on oatmilk, or 4. Oatmilk not shaken or sediment turning powder on bottom of container. Interesting reading. Anyway, I would come back if I lived here... maybe explore what brand they are using... the setting is idyllic!
