Long story short, we drove our…read morecar from Pittsburgh to Houston for my son to use while in town for an internship over the summer. On the trip down I noticed that there was some slipping in the transmission. Very minor but still something that was concerning. We didn't want to leave the car and not know what was going on so I took it to George based on the reviews I read online. He took the car for a ride, said it was slipping between 1st and 2nd. So, you brace for the price... He said the Honda transmission is rock solid and this could easilty last for years before it gives out so just drive it and not worry about it. He had an opportunity to sell me a re-build which will someday be necesary but told us that now wasn't the time to do it. I greatly appreciated the honesty and integrity. The only downside is that when it needs to be re-built, the car probably won't be in houston and we'll have to find somebody else.

Save yourself the frustration and avoid this place! I brought my car here to get the A/ C repaired…read morebased off the good reviews. They had my car for two days and still couldn't tell me where the leak was coming from, with my A/C. The communication throughout the experience was terrible, and I felt like I was getting the runaround every time I talked to someone over the phone. I went to the shop to speak with someone directly about an hour before closing time on the second day and they had already closed for the day. They still charged me for the diagnostic with no results, stating that the mechanic would need more time to find the leak. At that point even if they found the leak there was no way I was going to trust them to repair it. Ultimately, I wouldn't recommend them because they have poor communication and time management skills

I called within my warranty period but couldn't get my car to the shop to leave sitting until they can look at it as I was starting a new job. When I finally had time, I called a million times and showed up only to find my calls never being answered and the shop always being closed. I chalked it up that I was screwed over. After doing research later on, I found their second shop. I called, spoke to the owner, who told me he can look at it but because I'm 2K miles outside of the warranty and didn't bring it to him when I first called while they were still open, he could only "see what he could do to help me out" but not warranty their mess up. He also told me they closed the shop I originally had my work done at because they didn't have any techs. Now, my car is back to what it was doing before just outside of my 17K mile warranty and they're not willing to warranty their cheap work. A rebuild should last the lifespan of a new transmission. Not 19K miles later after a rebuild. No other shop wants to work on it now and only want to rebuild it again. I should have listened to the other reviews. Stay away from this place!!
