Now I have a great niece that has been going there for over a year and everything seemed to be going pretty well until a couple of months ago when her mother felt like they had been disrespected and mistreated by a manager there. I understand she was singled out to have to leave the swimming area between classes because of the starting time of her next class time. I also understand that they had never seen that before, and never had it ever happened to them before. I think it was more about the way the manager treated them about the incident. It took a few months for me to write the review because you try to overlook these things, but after reading a couple of reviews that had the same content I was pushed to write the review. We didn't want to take her out because she wanted to stay at the swim school because of friends she had met there. I think you need to take some time to re-educate some of the staff on how to treat people.

When we first arrived, we were shown everything and the lady explained everything well. She was very friendly. My baby is 6 months old and he did soo well in the class! The teacher was Kari and she did a great job using a doll to show us parents how to swim and do movements with the babies. We did dunk the babies underwater and I felt better seeing the smaller 4 month baby next to me being dunked (gave me more confidence to dunk my 6 month old haha). They are very creative in their methods of teaching kids how to swim and making it fun. The whole class is 30 min and I felt it was a perfect time because my arms got tired of holding my baby after that long hahah We signed up for lessons in the end! They have great amenities- cubbies for your bags, changing rooms, swimsuit dryer- so handy, bathrooms, seats outside, seating inside, showers to rinse off in the heated swimming pool room (keeps babies from shivering when coming out)!! In the last 3 years I've seen so much growth and confidence in her, and this is one of the many reasons that keeps us coming back. The staff here is incredible, they all seem to love their jobs and are so engaged with the children. My daughter has had many instructors as she had moved up and they all remember her by name, these personal touches are refreshing and much appreciated. Goldfish has done a really great job since COVID, they spray down chairs, changing rooms, bathrooms ect. In between classes, have reduced class sizes, barriers, and strict in times before lessons.
