We stop by the Bristol Bazar what a fun place to be on a rainy day. They have a special gift from everyone. Great variety. Surrounded by so many beautiful handmade gifts for all ages . They have jewelry, crochet hats stuffed animals. Also food. Pleasant staff . A little pricey but that's to be expected for something handmade. Beautiful, cheerful atmosphere.

We love to visit the bazaar to see their beautiful decorations. The detail and dedication is fantastic, great selection of craft items. There is something for everyone, I alway end up with a new plant or cupcakes.

I love coming to the shopping plaza. You can find a little something for everybody! Whether it's baked goods, 3d printed items, hand crafted goods or just to browse. There are vendors that are always rotating out so you can always find something! A lot of the items are handmade and handcrafted so the pricing varies depending on what you get. I like shopping at smaller stores and supporting local vendors rather than buying a big product from a box store if I can. There is also Yellow King Brewing company for a coffee or martinis! The also have beer on tap

This place is amazing! It's part of what I assume used to be a factory, with parking up above, along the side of the building next door, and handicapped spaces parallel with the door. The inside has many tables and booths from different artisans, so everything is different and a feast for the eyes. The second level is decorated as though they're exterior windows and you're walking in a village square. There's even a fake water fountain. Everything is locally made, so it's a great value and something unique. You check out all at once, and are able to buy a bag for charity if you don't bring your own. There are class (watch Facebook!) and restrooms available. Everyone is very friendly, and each experience is different but fun!

It's wondrous to be in this Bazaar Matketplace. There's always something new to find that I didn't quite catch on previous visits. I particularly love the decoration at the front entrance depending on the season or the holiday. The foyer also equate the same concept. Truly marvelous! There's plenty of artisans work at every table from cups to woodwork and even clothing. The staff are beyond nice too. I was led here at first due to the coffee next door by Yellow King and then after by programs scheduled in their event space in the back. There's also another conference room area behind the checkout section. The cost for each piece also varies and are fairly reasonable to my opinion since you're shopping directly from the artisan. Can't wait to have my next visit and see what I find!

I love this place! I had to return for the gluten free cookies!! Not as good as before but I still enjoyed it. Walking around and looking for new gifts is always fun! The service is the best and the value is pretty fair keeping in mind these are small independent businesses.

I had never heard of the bazaar until a friend mentioned it. What a great hidden gem and had no idea that it is open year round. Gotta love a place that has plenty of outdoor free parking on a private lot. We had fun exploring the Bazaar and visiting all the booths. Lots of great locally made items. Love the decorations. The checkout process was smooth and was very organized- which I appreciate.

Given that I have a family connection to Bristol, I was surprised I hadn't heard of Bristol Bazaar before I recently started seeing Instagram content. Turns out they opened around Summer '23. So I am not that far behind the curve. Bristol Bazaar is primarily a maker and vendor retail space where you can browse arts, crafts, handmade clothes, and products. It's safe to say there's something for everybody. While the crafts displayed did not immediately capture my eye, I was impressed with the La Famiglia Tedesco food space, which displayed chocolates, confections and desserts. They also offered samples I tried a few things including pumpkin cake, pecan chocolate bark. The samples were good. I bought the bark, which was good salty and sweet, and peanut butter and jelly swirl cookies, which looked very cool and tasted good. I separately reviewed the adjacent Yellow King Brews, but it basically functions as part of the Bazaar since there is an open space between the two. Yellow King is one of the more respected coffee shops in CT Foodie Circles. Getting a Yellow King (the OG is in Wallingford) is a big deal for the Bazaar and Bristol. The Bazaar also had a food truck called Rock Solid Grill in the parking lot. I wasn't familiar with it, but it's a cool option. I love places like Bristol Bazaar. I think it's a great thing for makers and the town. Four Stars.

A glass display case mounted on a black stand contains handmade art and craft items, including painted plates, beaded jewelry, and colorful artwork. The case is part of the Little Free Art Gallery at Bristol Bazaar, supporting local artisans. A sign below provides information about the gallery and encourages visitors to leave art pieces in their place for others to enjoy. The display is outdoors, with greenery visible around the stand.

A beautiful spot to gather and shop, Bristol Bazaar is one of the newer locations to help and Revive Bristol businesses... this one through local artists and entrepreneurs. Nestled in downtown Bristol CT, it is a perfect spot to browse and select the perfect gift for yourself (check out my earrings!!) or others with local artist and vendor style isles. The boho vibe space has rooms you can rent (for up to 30 in one room that include bathrooms and counter space), beautiful murals and art throughout, and is super clean and organized. You are welcomed with a smile, and it smells so good inside, with candles and candy and aromatherapy oils spread throughout the open concept space as well as many other beautiful finds. You should DEFINITELY stop by!

I had seen a TikTok video about Bristol Bazaar a while back, and finally had the chance to check it out the other day. What a cool spot! Located on Race St. in Bristol, Bristol Bazaar is an indoor "makers market" that is open year round. Inside they have booths with over 65 makers at any time, all with displays of handmade crafts, art, clothing, and other unique items for sale. The prices vary based on vendor/item, but they seemed reasonable considering all of the products are handmade. The staff member who was at the front registered was friendly and greeted me as I walked in. Just to give you some ideas of what they have- Funny baby onesies, handmade candles with unique scents like "The Cottage on Martha's Vineyard" and "Witching Hour in Salem," handmade jewelry, embroidered sweatshirts, locally made cookies and other treats, cutting boards, children's books, lotions, painted wooden signs with the names of various CT towns, framed photographs and paintings, hand drawn greeting cards, mugs and cups, and the list goes on! This is one of those places where you can go back several times and find something new and different each time. And attached to Bristol Bazaar is Yellow King Brews, which is an awesome coffee and cocktail lounge with amazing coffee/tea drinks and a full cocktail bar! So make sure you take the trip to Bristol Bazaar and check it out for yourself!

A few weekends ago my mother and I decided to check out this bazaar to kick off holiday shopping. And I'm glad we did! There's so many different vendors selling amazing handcrafted items. We both ended up making personal purchases and gift purchases. I'm glad that I now know the bazaar exist. I'm sure I'll be returning soon!

Inside - A Christmas tree decorated with various ornaments, including red and green baubles, and holiday-themed tags, is positioned indoors. The setting features a brick wall, a window reflecting interior lights and decorations, and a ceiling adorned with colorful string lights. The environment appears to be a market or cafe with a cozy, festive atmosphere.

Bristol Bazar is a collection of different small businesses hosting their products for you to purchase. It is referred to as a Makers Market and it didn't disappoint. We were amazed at how beautiful the place is and how much it has to offer. Not to mention what is to come. We didn't experience much service. There was a group of people at the front to the side talking with Bristol bazaar sweatshirts on. No one acknowledged us there. At the front the cashier did say hello when we passed, otherwise no one said anything. I didn't take away anything here because it was later in the evening and I am sure they were getting ready to close. Depending on the store, would depend on the value to me. There was a crystal shop that had popsockets for $16 and earrings for $15. That to me was great value. There was candles for $15+, also great value. There were scrunchies for $40+, this to me wasn't great value or the Disney ears that were $40+ which is more than normal Disney ears and I couldn't believe the cost. I believe the seller decides the price so it is what it is. Overall, we loved it and can't wait to go back. We did purchase a candle and a cheesecake sampler and spent like $27.

Something for everyone. So much beautiful color and fun! - The image shows a small, enclosed space with white walls and a tiled floor. At the center, there is an arcade game machine with a colorful, splattered paint design and a sign that reads 'ARCADE.' Above it, a sign says 'GAME ON.' The walls are decorated with numerous framed photographs and artwork, creating a gallery-like atmosphere.

We watched the state of a dark wood cutter cut out custom parts for Capital Hearts event that was going on later on this month. It's pretty cool to see the design go from the computer to the machine to the wood. Which we ended up painting at the end. I definitely want to be checking this place out at a later date to maybe do some 3D printing for some future cosplay they also even provide sewing machines as well. I love the fact that you can actually take classes in Woodworking and Welding as well learn 3D printing and advanced 3D printing with movable items.

Makehaven: not for entrepreneurs, just hobbyists…read more I am writing this review of the space not because I want to, but because after a week has gone by I am still incensed enough where I must put my thoughts down and also share what I have discovered with the general public less they meet the same frustrations in the Make Haven Space that I have. I use the space not simply for myself but to make clothes for people to buy. So I am writing this review as somebody who is an entrepreneur and artist trying to use the space. I have been a member of Makehaven for 3 years, in my time there it has become very clear that there are two tiers of use in the space. Tier 1: metalworking, woodworking, electronics, 3d printing, beer making. Tier 2: sewing, culinary work, embroidery, knitting. If you plan to use the space for tier 1 or as i like to call it "He-Man" tier, then you are in luck! The space is properly maintained. If something breaks they notice it and fix it in a reasonable time, there is paid staff that is always knowledgeable and around to help. If He-man Tier is what you want a membership for then you will most certainly find what you need. However if you wanted a membership for tier 2, or as i like to call it "the more feminine work" then you are assed out. I have had tons of issues with the sewing space not being properly maintained: whether it is having broken equipment that has no discernible timeline on getting fixed until I inquire. Various machines being "misrepaired" such as someone just dumping oil all over a machine so it was even in the eye hole of the needle: ruined my piece. This comes from a lack of consistency and management of the space in a way that rarely seems to happen with the woodworking or metal equipment. When it comes to the silkscreening station it's even more wretched. I will give you an example from my most recent experience: I had a deadline, and the day before I had planned to screen a few shirts I noticed that a class of no less than 10 people were being taught how to silkscreen. Thats cool. I notice that the person teaching the class is also being observed by paid facilitators- thats also cool it is important that she is teaching right. that night I decided to burn a screen to start printing the next day. The screen went poorly and when I went to clean this screen I suffered through half an hour of frustration before I realized that someone had WATERED DOWN THE CLEANING SOLUTION for cleaning screens, which if you know chemicals then you know it didnt work. This may not seem like a big deal to those who dont silkscreen, but basically everything emulsion related is time [light] based. The longer it takes me to wash a screen, the lower the chance that it will wash out. Screens cost about $40, so if I cant clean this screen I am out $40 and time. So after i get a facilitator (at this point is is 12am) and put the right chemicals in, the screen is only half reclaimed-which is to say ruined. I went to reclaim this screen no more than 11 hours after placing the emulsion. It should have been easy to clean and instead was a huge chore. The next morning i go to print in the printmaking shop and there is RED INK all over the silkscreening station. It was left by the class the day before very clearly because I saw them, use it, and the red ink left behind was the same design that they were using. It was everywhere, It was on the table that you place the clothes, was on the actual machine, and it was subtlety all over the counter. This was all left by the class the day before, a class where someone is teaching people how to use the space-and someone was watching that teacher to make sure it was taught right. So I noticed some of the paint, but I didn't notice all of the paint until some of it ended up on a shirt I was trying to silkscreen. If you have ever used a shared art space then the first thing you know is to CLEAN UP PROPERLY, the fact that little to no attention was paid on clean up is an appalling lack of training on everyone's part. For brevity's sake I will skip the kitchen space, but it is a joke, I got more tools in my kitchen. Fundamentally it comes down to who Makehaven serves. Makehaven brands itself as an incubator for small business. Makehaven gets grants for thousands of dollars to be a space for entrepreneurs. This is not a space for entreprenuers. Or at least not the type who would actually need their space. I need their space because as of right now I cannot afford anything more while I am growing my business. I am poor, I have traditionally had service industry jobs, I am a high school drop out, this place does not cater to me. It caters to middle class suburban 35-70 year old people who have hobbies that they want to pursue. Those same people have no problems with the space not working because it is just a hobby for them. If they ever wanted to take things more seriously they could have there own making space- in fact plenty do. I wrote more but am out of space.
