It is quite a large venue which had a lot of both indoor and outdoor seating. The interior is spacious and has both booths and tables. The staff members were very friendly throughout our visit which was pleasant. We ordered the 'Ultimate burger' with added fries, and the 'Double Ultimate burger'. The food is very affordable, as the Ultimate burger was only $11.95, and the cost of adding fries to the burger was only an extra dollar! The Double Ultimate burger was $18.95, which is still very reasonable for a burger of its size. The service was fast as the food was brought out shortly after ordering. We were in awe of the sheer size of the 'Double Ultimate burger' - it was huge! Both of the burgers looked and tasted great. They were the same burger, except the double ultimate was literally a double of the ultimate burger. The beef patties melted in your mouth; they were slightly char grilled but still really soft, juicy and tasty. The cheese complemented the grilled egg and onions really well. There was plenty of mayonnaise and tomato sauce, which gave the burgers even more flavour. The lettuce and tomato were fresh and broke down some of the heaviness of the burger. The chips added were also a nice touch. We were really impressed with the food and service from Sheesh Grill and look forward to going back and trying more!

Located in Liverpool street, just off the top end of Bourke, its a cute/quirky lane way bar. I liked it! A nice cocktail list and really friendly bar staff and also patrons. Its the kind of bar I would take my best friend to so we could catch up on the latest gossip as it is quite cosy inside. I had a 'Money God' cocktail which was Gin based (of course!) it was topped with bubbly coconut foaming cream, quite the surprise but it worked well and gave me a great start to the night. Yes, I would love to show my friends Double Happiness Bar, liked it very much.

The cocktail list is Chinese revolution themed. I'm working my way through the them and so far they are all delicious. The lovely bartenders are even flexible enough to make edits to the drinks. It does get busy so go early. Personally I'm not thrilled the cute outdoor courtyard is a designated smoking area but others may appreciate it. The toilets are al fresco and a little chilly in winter. Hard washing facilities and (for the ladies) the mirror, is also front and centre in the courtyard so no shyness here. A great little bar I was thrilled to (finally) discover. You won't regret checking it out.

Let's start with the service. The staff really need to be commended. Attentive but not annoying, knowledgeable, friendly and made you feel comfortable. Now on to the food! We started with the schmaltz. Literally lard with delicious bits added. So decadent! We've decided this is a once a year treat so we don't have heart attacks, but it's a treat worth dying for! We used the extra bread to mop up the white wine sauce on the oh so soft mussels. I could of had a second plate of these! Just for me. Next was the main - pork belly with cabbage and blood pudding served with sides of heirloom carrots and spetzel (sp?). German Mac and cheese! Perfect combinations! The pork was melt in your mouth amazing! To finish we couldn't go past the creme brûlée. Seriously. SERIOUSLY! This thing is incredible. The softest, silkiest and most creamy creme brûlée ever. A must! Before we stop! The wine list is very carefully curated. You'd be hard pressed to find something not amazing. We went for the Tempranillo and Rose by the glass and couldn't fault their delicious European choices. Ask for recommendations if you're unsure. Can't wait for next season and the next menu!!

Every dish was a delight and i cant even think which one i liked the most. Special mention to the sea snail - awesome! And the creme brulee - best one out! Impeccable service, our assigned waitress is indeed knowledgable on both the drinks and food and very attentive. Try to book the seat by the bar and get lost in watching the kitchen staff do their thing and see how much dallops of butter they chuck in everything om nom! Will be back :)

They have one of the most delicious big breakfasts/big vego breakys that I have seen plus then a whole lot of interesting, creative takes on classics and a whole range of things that I would never have thought of to start my day. Things such as cured salmon quinoa salad with roasted cauliflower and crunchy kale. They smash out home made baked beans with roti and fry some seriously delicious fritters with av. And the mushrooms with truffle oil...mmmm. 2. Their bloody Mary and Bloody Margarita is worth stopping a dry July for. Not that I would do such a month of torture. 3. They are on the side of Rose street markets. LOVE. 4. Natural light, beautiful decor and so many indoor plants = happiness. 5. Great staff and great coffee. If you need a sweet treat with your coffee they have some seriously good looking ones of those too. 6. Everything on the menu is so colourful with veg and/or fruit and healthy bits. Vego friendly and vegan friendly. Quinoa coconut milk porridge with mango mmmmmm. 7. THERE IS A COCKTAIL BAR ON TOP OF THE BUILDING.

But this doesn't mean you shouldn't come here, it is still pretty good. The coffee is All Press beans, no single origin just a blend. It is made well for All Press, but nothing too special. I think what makes this cafe is the food. Nothing on the menu is stick standard. Everything is a little bit different. Of course this is said in a good way. The smashed Avo is really good if you are looking for something vego, or the porridge if you are hoping for something a little bit more sweet. The service here is good and friendly. The decor is slightly strange, my friend and I were debating if we like it. I didn't. He did. Do it is all on personal taste. Either way, if you are in the area and want to try something new stop by.

I probably wouldn't say pretty good, but honestly, it really wasn't bad. The service was quite good, and the staff also were quite friendly. Still, it was quite nice, the staff friendly, and they also made a decent pot of tea.

My two friends and I arrived here on Easter Monday morning around 8am. We easily got a table inside as the courtyard area though covered seemed cold (they do have heaters there). I ordered a large extra hot skim cappuccino and got the most delicious cappuccino I've ever had. Creamy, chocolatey, hot and with a coffee kick. The bottle of water on our table was magically filled and replaced while we were not looking. Despite being known to be a busy venue, the wait staff were patient with us as we made up our minds. Having an all day menu made it really hard to decide on options. We settled on the following: 1. Eggs Benedict with hollandaise sauce - two large beautifully poached eggs delicately covered in hollandaise sauce on a crusty dry bread (negative). Though delicious my friend who has eggs Benedict frequently was not impressed. The bread was very tough. 2. Goats cheese with smashed avocado on sesame toast- was quite bland and the toast didn't seem to add any flavour to it. The goats cheese didn't have a strong taste 3. Corn cauliflower with kimchi sour cream sauce fritters - the best amazingest fritters I've ever had. They were massive and so so satisfying. I couldn't put my fork down and inhaled most of it. The juniper trout on top though looked like salmon to a seafood amateur like me was amazing. It wasn't smoky but just had a delicate flavour. Perhaps it was the vodka. Decent portions. Bring your appetite! amazing service and omg omg they do split bill. Oh and the counter is dotted with yummo muffins and other sweets. And affordable. The coffee is cracking, with the house espresso blend from Proud Mary and a rotating list of single origins from the who's who of coffee world - Market Lane, Seven Seeds et al. which you can enjoy as a pour over or siphon. The menu is, well, delightful. Seriously, it made my heart feel all squishy and happy as I browsed through. Maybe it was the delicate logo and pretty typeface (font nerd), the seasonal menu ingredients (broad beans picked from the cafe's veggie garden anyone?) or perhaps the non-standard cafe ingredients (duck eggs, manchego, black pudding? Yes please!)... Either way, my face was all happiness as I sat in the sun deciding what to eat at this barely two week old cafe. I settled on 'Smoked trout, soft boiled egg, avocado and herb salad on sourdough' ($18) and it was everything I'd hoped it would be. High quality ingredients put together without apparent fuss, but a whole lot of love. The smoked trout lay sexily amongst chunks of avocado and a soft boiled egg, cut open to reveal its bright orange oozing centre, the herb salad (complete with another non-standard cafe ingredient - fennel pollen) scattered over the top. A winning dish and one I'd be keen to have again next time if it weren't for the pea and bacon hash, the bircher muesli or the prawn and scallop ravioli that sit high on my "must try" list. If I were going to move to the suburbs and have the white picket fence, I'd move to Kew just to be close to Ora.
