Food was good. However my food didn't arrive until the rest of my party was finished eating. They claimed my food went to the wrong table. My spring mix was rotten and couldn't be eaten. The service was horrible. I didn't get my water until my friends dinner arrived. The owner gave me 15% off my meal to make up for me not eating with my friends and the rotten salad!!! The bill for my table was $125. He gave me $5 off for my salad. Plates were NEVER cleared from the table. You have to do better to stay in business. Good food alone can't do it. So for starters the service was amazing, Shoo (sorry if I'm spelling that wrong) was our waiter and he was great. And didn't get her name but the the hostess was super nice. The kicker for me, is we don't get out much but Walker the beer expert told us all about what beers to order and told us about the town. Was seated by the hostess and waited for 15 minutes for service, I saw to waitresses and waiters waiting on tables around us, finally I called the restaurant from my cell phone asking if we could get service. A waitress finally showed up and took our drink and appetizer order, she brought our drinks back and left, she didn't ask if we were ready to order. When she came back later with our appetizers she finally asked if we were ready to order. She never refilled our drinks, another couple came while we were eating, ordered, ate, paid for their food and left before we got our check, we waited 30 minutes after we finished eating to get our check. Fish. Tacos. They weren't on the menu but when a friend ordered them, I did the same. I'm so glad I did, they were delicious!!! This style of restaurant was so badly needed in the Goldsboro area. Latin and Dominican regional foods that are flavorfully created, with care and passion!! The atmosphere and staff are inviting and make you feel very welcome. Our server made me feel at ease and offered us suggestions from the menu. My wife thought I was funny! She knew what she would have and was more familiar with their specialty. We had an appetizer of tater tots, with pulled pork, a wonderful sauce, topped with quest fresco,"cheese". The portion size could have been a small meal. It was so good! It left you wanting for more. Time for the entrée...Rio verde shrimp a great suggestion. It came to the table colorful, and an aroma I'll remember for days. Tender cut asparagus, grilled shrimp created a presentation I truly enjoyed. The flavors melded together and were very enjoyable. I highly enjoyed my meal, the staff and management. The owner/manager visited each table checking on customers and their visit. I feel other places could take notes on getting back to basics and their customer. Brisas. Food was ok, but wasn't able to enjoy it all together. Everything kept coming out separately every 20 minutes or so. They never informed us that something on a dish was no longer available and just substitute it with something else that we didn't even like. I have visited this place many times but, this night was horrible and I was embarrassed because I convinced my cousin to come . First of all the guacamole had no taste very bland and the chips cold most places do serve at least room temperature. She ordered the chicken carbonara the sauce was bland and the side order of shrimp she added was 10.00 that she was not told and they were popcorn shrimp. My dish which is served only at lunch now no longer at dinner but; they was able to provide me with so that was one positive not was very salty and I have high blood pressure dish( don't know the name). Worst part our alcoholic drinks where horrible and we still had to pay I sipped mines and put it to the side and when I told the manager he said next time I'll make it free. I've never been to a place where this had happened. My friends and I from the state won't be coming here anymore after I tell them this. They gave us "two discounts" which barely covered the 20% they decided they deserved. Waitress had a bad attitude when I mentioned the hair.
