I have PCOS; a hormonal imbalance that affects my body in many ways. One unfortunate symptom is rapid facial hair growth. It became so bad, if I would go a single day without tweezing or shaving, I would have thick whiskers that could stand against any man's stache/beard, in comparison. I considered laser hair removal for years, but kept pushing it off because I had a horrible experience with another company (my face was badly burned after my first session and the company refused to refund my money for the remaining sessions in the package). Over the years, the hair just became thicker and out of control. Last year for Christmas, my husband bought me a Groupon to Brio Med Spa. Though I was apprehensive, considering my previous negative experience, I was excited to try again. My experience at Brio has been absolutely awesome! From my initial consult to my last session, the folks at Brio have been knowledgeable, professional and courteous. And the results have been amazing! I have had 8 sessions with Brio and in those 8 sessions, every thick, coarse, black hair (which was most of my facial hair) has been completely eliminated. My very fair and sensitive skin was never even so much as irritated (a real concern after my prior experience). Because I am combating a hormonal imbalance, I will need a few more sessions to address what minimal hair growth remains (the finer gray/blonde hairs, which aren't as bothersome). However, Brio is working with me to tailor an affordable package for what needs remain. My husband recently suggested that we invest into another Groupon for the remaining required sessions in an effort to save some money. With Brio working around my budget, it isn't necessary. But even if that wasn't the case, I would still continue to give Brio my patronage, even if it meant spending a little more money. My experience with Brio and the end results have been life-changing. I have been going to Brio since 2018. I originally went as my pregnancy had caused severe Malasma. As I worked through microdermabrasion and facials to bring the light back into my face, I brought to her another concern. My hormones have always been a mess, but the hairs growing out of control on my chin were unacceptable. We started treatment right away. I had 2 rounds of treatment. And typically every 3 to 6 months I grab a touch up. I am so much happier now, much more confident, all of the ingrowns are gone, all the dark spots are gone. Brio gave me my confidence back, and I cant thank them enough. After working on my face, I got other services as well. I have got my underarms done. They are perfectly brown now. No dark spots, and Im always tank top ready. Lol. Now recently I have started brazilian treatments. The pain is no where near waxing, and I am really looking forward to the results. I was searching for a place close by, that offered hair removal. I had previously used over the counter products and shaved my back, but that can be a pain. I wanted something more permanent. I found them online, and scheduled a free consultation. The business is a convenient location, off of Spout Spring rd. The owner was friendly and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions. It was easy. The price was also affordable. They also are pretty flexible with my scheduling, I like to go in the middle of the week. They always seem able to fit me in at a time that is convenient for me. It's a relaxing environment with soft music playing. I never felt much discomfort...I only wish that I had gone there sooner. Overall, the process was successful and we have tremendously eliminated the unwanted hair. We need more small businesses like this here in Flowery Branch, as our community grows. read more

I had my laser treatment there. All they tried to do is upsale. I finished my treatment and still have plenty of hair. I told the lady Throughout the treatment there is still too much hair and she told me no, only one spot. I think I know better how it looks before I shave coming here... then they ask you to leave review and gives a complimentary service. It makes me believe all good reviews comes from there. How on my last appointment you going to offer me 4 touch up sessions to buy? Maybe do job right first time... Im going to other place for different body parts and had same results not even half way through the treatment to compare what I have here after treatment is done. My provider is Corina Bryant ! She's the absolute best! She is super precice and makes sure that I'm okay during the entire treatment. I love how she keeps a conversation the whole time while she's treating, it makes the process less painful and go by faster! She's professional and gives me the best advice with taking care of my skin afterwards!! I am very happy with Brio Med Spa, The results I have been great. The staff is friendly and professional and the environment is neat and organized. Each time I have had an appointment I have not had to wait. When I first went in for a consultation they went over everything in detail and have done what they said. I had previously gone to another laser hair removal place and was very dissatisfied. The results seemed like they did nothing, The staff at that place was not at all professional. I love how quickly I'm taken back for my appointments each time, and how efficient they are. I am in and out for my laser hair removal appointments within 15 minutes. Everything is always very clean and the staff is always friendly. My only complaint is that I'm not seeing results as quickly as I thought I would or was lead to believe I would.
