My final call the staff member even said, "I remember you, yes we do the blocks." When I arrived, the front door was locked. After waiting, a staff member opened it without greeting and walked away, which felt dismissive and unwelcoming. Inside, I was told to complete paperwork I had already submitted. When I asked for clarification on questions that should be evaluated by a provider, such as facial asymmetry, I was told they were "questions for me," which is not appropriate in a medical setting. I also explained that I have a history of vasovagal response to pain. This was met with blank, dismissive stares, which was concerning. When I brought up the dental block I had confirmed multiple times prior to my appointment, the staff appeared unfamiliar and responded dismissively. There was no effort to clarify, offer alternatives, or make me feel comfortable. At no point did I interact with an actual provider, only two staff members, which added to my lack of confidence. Between the lack of professionalism, poor communication, and overall experience, I chose to leave without receiving treatment. Based on the injector's own lip results, which were not subtle, I wasn't confident in the aesthetic approach of the practice. **UPDATE** After posting my original review above, the owner of VC Esthetics personally called me and explained that they do have a nurse who performs dental blocks and could accommodate me if I returned. I removed my review on my own because I understand the impact negative reviews can have on a small business. I genuinely wanted to give them another chance. I waited over a month for that nurse, took additional time off work, and returned hoping for a better experience. When I arrived, the front door was propped open with a cinder block.... and I was again asked to complete paperwork I had already filled out multiple times. The nurse briefly approached me without introducing herself and said she needed to finish with another patient first. I was understanding because delays happen. After waiting, I was taken to a treatment room where the nurse came in did not look me in the eyes to address me, but instead fumbled through cabinets and I couldn't understand what she was saying. As more time passed, the front desk person apologized and assured me the nurse would be with me shortly. By 2:00 PM, an hour after my scheduled 1:00 PM appointment, I was told the nurse was still with another patient and also needed to make a phone call before seeing me. At that point, I left. What made this especially disappointing was that I had already had a negative first experience, removed my review in good faith, waited over a month for this appointment, and taken additional time off work to return. I was specifically there because I required a dental block, which itself takes time to become effective. At no point did anyone attempt to begin that process or communicate a clear plan while I sat waiting. It wasn't until after I left that the nurse felt it was important to speak with me directly. She explained that they prefer to take their time with each patient to ensure good results. At that point, it felt less like patient care and more like damage control. Taking time with patients is understandable and appreciated. The issue is scheduling appropriately, communicating clearly, and respecting every patient's time. This was not one isolated misunderstanding. It was multiple experiences involving poor communication, disorganization, lack of professionalism, and disregard for my time as a patient and person. I genuinely wanted the second experience to go differently, but unfortunately it did not. For that reason, I would not return to VC Esthetics, and I would not recommend the practice to anyone.

My only regret is that it took me so long to find them. After having the WORST experiences with Ideal Image(pain, no results, SO expensive), I had a lot of fear and not a lot of trust issues. *Please don't ever go to Ideal Image unless you hate yourself, you're a glutton for pain, and like to waste money.* I had SO many trusted friends recommend ASC, so I decided to give them a try. Literally everyone. My first visit was for Botox (and maybe lips?) with Missy. It's hard to remember exactly where I started. Since then, I have had facials, laser treatments, Botox, lip fillers, under eye fillers, lash tints and lifts, and now laser hair removal. There is honestly nothing I wouldn't trust them to do. Every experience has been consistently amazing from the customer service, to keeping me comfortable, to amazing results. NOTHING has been painful. They have highly trained team members, advanced technology, and tools to make everything as painless as possible. I am always excited to try something new, but also value their honesty when they tell me I don't need a treatment. (I literally want to do everything I see them post about because their results are always amazing!) Their pretty view isn't too bad either. I am honestly excited for all future treatment because I know it is the best. (I have a long list) No matter where I live, I will find a way to continue to come to ASC.
