I put my faith in you to produce engagement photos I would love, but it's because of you that I don't have any photos to remember that part of my love story. You didn't call or text to let me know you couldn't make it nor did you answer my calls when I reached out from Central Park. You didn't even try to make up for the situation by waiving the rush fee. So that's all on you. Second, I'm not sure who you're confusing me for, but we don't have 20 email exchanges. Not only is she very calm and comforting (which is much needed amidst all the wedding chaos), she is incredibly skilled at her work -- she gave us very clear cues for posing, adapted the itinerary based on the weather forecasts & lighting/time of day, found amazing locations for truly breathtaking shots with her artistic eye, balanced multiple cameras on her own, & even shot some behind-the-scenes videos of our special day that she could give us the same day. Ultimately, we both felt that Coral really took the time to understand us and our story, and sharing those honest conversations left us with so much faith that she would capture our story and us authentically. And from just the bts videos and sneak peek gallery we saw so far, we are so so happy that we chose Coral as our photographer because she really has that special ability to capture all the raw emotions and happiness that we felt. The photos make you feel like you are right back in the moment. I wore two distinctly different gowns (one was a traditional ivory ballgown, another a red, heavily embroidered Pakistani gown), and Coral captured both looks beautifully and effortlessly. My husband is comfortable in front of the camera, but the wedding was a very nerve wracking day for him- but everyone on The Double Shot Project team were so kind and made sure to match his vibe and uplift him any time they could. They also really took their time photographing him and his father with their project cars, which was a really special moment for them. Our guests couldn't stop complimenting just how sweet and fun her and her team were, and how they brought a bright and positive energy while always mindful of the people surrounding them (which is tricky to do when holding equipment). Leading up to the date I was slightly concerned about using services from people I never met. We arrived in NY on a Thursday picked up our marriage certificate on Friday and ended our weekend away with our wedding on Sunday. I can honestly say working with Alex and Joan made our weekend that much better. From the moment they arrived they took care of everything. My bouquet was everything I wanted. Since it was just the two of us Alex understood our desire to keep the ceremony short and sweet. Joan then took us on a tour of Central Park capturing the best pictures I could have imagined. He also regaled us with stories about the park and which movies/tv shows were filmed in different sections. Only our immediate family knew that we got married so I wanted to create an announcement right away. By the end of the day of our ceremony Joan had provided me with 15 sneak peek images to use for the announcement. About 2 weeks later we had the full gallery of images to choose from and create our Video slideshow. I took my time to select the right images for the video and song. I received the slideshow today and I am in awe of how perfect it is. I will cherish this video for years to come as watching it brought me back to the exact emotions I was feeling during the ceremony.
