I wish I had a job that could afford me the luxury of having someone leave my yelp reviews for me. I wish I earned enough that I wouldn't have to buy an engagement photographer off Groupon for $60. If I can afford a personal assistant than I definitely would've sprung for a photographer for a with better communication. But for right now I'm just a secretary with a very limited wedding budget. I put my faith in you to produce engagement photos I would love, but it's because of you that I don't have any photos to remember that part of my love story. Let me be clear, it wasn't an act of God or the weather I blame. You bailed. You didn't call or text to let me know you couldn't make it nor did you answer my calls when I reached out from Central Park. You didn't even try to make up for the situation by waiving the rush fee. So that's all on you. Second, I'm not sure who you're confusing me for, but we don't have 20 email exchanges. I have your initial email, the one's where we scheduled our first two appointments and then the one's where everything went wrong. If you care to see those than I'll post those too. My name (and my fiance's) are all over my screenshots, if you have any confusion as to who I am than that means you've disappointed a lot more people. Last, I was really rooting for you to respond well to this review. Instead of coming back with a mature response, you just pointed the finger right back at me and tried to intimidate me. I notice you did the same exact thing with the other negative review from January 2018. You attack anyone that doesn't like your method of customer service. It's actually very sad. And believe me I will tell my wedding photographer about this update, I'm sure she'll get a kick out of it.

The photos feel real and full of emotion, not stiff or overly posed. If you're eloping in NYC and want someone who's talented, calm, and truly cares, Mucci is the one. Leading up to the date I was slightly concerned about using services from people I never met. We arrived in NY on a Thursday picked up our marriage certificate on Friday and ended our weekend away with our wedding on Sunday. I can honestly say working with Alex and Joan made our weekend that much better. From the moment they arrived they took care of everything. My bouquet was everything I wanted. Since it was just the two of us Alex understood our desire to keep the ceremony short and sweet. Joan then took us on a tour of Central Park capturing the best pictures I could have imagined. He also regaled us with stories about the park and which movies/tv shows were filmed in different sections. Only our immediate family knew that we got married so I wanted to create an announcement right away. By the end of the day of our ceremony Joan had provided me with 15 sneak peek images to use for the announcement. About 2 weeks later we had the full gallery of images to choose from and create our Video slideshow. I took my time to select the right images for the video and song. I received the slideshow today and I am in awe of how perfect it is. I will cherish this video for years to come as watching it brought me back to the exact emotions I was feeling during the ceremony. Many thanks to Alex and Joan for everything you did to make our day fantastic.

Alexandra was very helpful during the rushed 3 week process. She was responsive and never let me hanging with any questions I had. She also let my husband and I put together our owe vows and was 100% supportive of all changes made. Joan was no different. He was definitely the best photographer we could ask for. He spotted us before we spotted him! Alas! He was shooting photographs of us the moment we entered our ceremony site! Very upbeat, professional, warm-hearted and just overall a great experience. What really struck us as amazing service was the way Joan worked around my husband's injury and still produced excellent photos. Even though my husband was in pain and not in a great mood which forced us to cut our session short, he did an awesome job working with us to make things right. Would not ask for anything more! Thanks again for everything, we have already shared our wonderful experience with everyone we know and would only want others to experience the amazing service we witnessed.

Coral is absolutely the sweetest person and BEST photographer you can get to capture your special…read moreday and love story. She takes the time to truly get to know you and thoughtfully curates a plan for the shoot to incorporate all the locations that are special to you, your story, & your love. Not only is she very calm and comforting (which is much needed amidst all the wedding chaos), she is incredibly skilled at her work -- she gave us very clear cues for posing, adapted the itinerary based on the weather forecasts & lighting/time of day, found amazing locations for truly breathtaking shots with her artistic eye, balanced multiple cameras on her own, & even shot some behind-the-scenes videos of our special day that she could give us the same day. Ultimately, we both felt that Coral really took the time to understand us and our story, and sharing those honest conversations left us with so much faith that she would capture our story and us authentically. And from just the bts videos and sneak peek gallery we saw so far, we are so so happy that we chose Coral as our photographer because she really has that special ability to capture all the raw emotions and happiness that we felt. And she literally turned us into models that belong on the front page of a wedding magazine! She also captured a wide range of styles in our photos -- from candid to editorial to cinematic to black & white, she can do it ALL!! We have already received so many compliments from our friends & loved ones, and everyone says that they can really see our love through the photos. Overall, truly the BEST experience ever (especially as it was our first shoot, since she made us feel so comfortable), and we can't wait to work with her again (we are planning to book her for our celebration of marriage, and we are so excited to explore videography with her then too)! YOU SHOULD TOO! She's the BEST!

The photos make you feel like you are right back in the moment. I wore two distinctly different gowns (one was a traditional ivory ballgown, another a red, heavily embroidered Pakistani gown), and Coral captured both looks beautifully and effortlessly. My husband is comfortable in front of the camera, but the wedding was a very nerve wracking day for him- but everyone on The Double Shot Project team were so kind and made sure to match his vibe and uplift him any time they could. They also really took their time photographing him and his father with their project cars, which was a really special moment for them. Our guests couldn't stop complimenting just how sweet and fun her and her team were, and how they brought a bright and positive energy while always mindful of the people surrounding them (which is tricky to do when holding equipment). I could not recommend The Double Shot Project more! If you are looking for: -Documentary style photos with editorial portraits -True to color imagery -People that care about your vision -A team that works well with introverts and extroverts :) HIRE THEM!
