I just got back the photographs and they are lovely! Carlos has a great eye for scenery - there are a couple of shots that I was not sure would come out well (while shooting) but the results are fabulous! And I would also say the photos are great representation of who we are as a couple. Full disclosure: my fiance is not as pleased with the photos as I am, but only because he did not like the way he looked with his beard in the photos. (I happen to love my man with his beard, however. Just my preference!) Carlos is good but he will not be giving someone a shave post photo-shoot production. A tip if you decide to go with Carlos or any other photographer for a shoot like this - you should be totally comfortable with what you're wearing, your hair, etc BEFORE the photo shoot! The proposal took place in Washington Square Park on a busy Saturday afternoon, but Carlos and Michelle (his fiance and photography partner) were really great in keeping everything organized After the proposal we did a follow up session around the park. The pictures that came out of that 30-45 minute session turned out amazing and my finance and I were so thrilled that we had Carlos and Michelle there to professionally document everything. They were both really easy and fun to work with. The follow up after the big day was equally thoughtful and well-done. We received a really cute CD and USB drive with all of the edited pictures for us to keep (I say cute because the CD had a picture of my fiance and me printed on it, and the USB was hand-painted in a really cool way). Moreover, Carlos was consistently prompt, easy to work with, and so thoughtful before, during, and after the proposal.
