Happy to see there is a brick and mortar in BHam. Saw an ad for this place on YT recently and checked out their products online. It's a small showroom. A few displays. Charisma is waiting on me. Small show room. Rings are made to order, all displays are CZ. They have lab grown and genuine diamond and gems. Guard backs with squeeze backs for their 1 carat and above post diamond earrings. Give it a squeeze to secure them on your ears. I like the concept. They had this really pretty three emerald cut diamond ring and that would be just under $9000 with Lab grown. It would probably be two or three times more with genuine diamonds. The center cut emerald was 2 1/2 carats. Diamonds are nice to look at for sure. Never met a diamond I didn't like. Never heard from the associate about the earrings I had asked for pricing on as a follow-up, it's been over a week. Guess no further info then. :/ read more

I was very excited to check out Brilliant Earth since a lot of people had recommended them. As a tip, their website appointments for this showroom book up FAST - I originally booked for 5pm on a Friday, maybe 1.5 weeks out, but then a 3pm Sunday appointment opened up so I snagged it. My now-fiance and I had been looking at BE and also one other jeweler for my engagement ring, and we were also looking at engagement/wedding ring sets for me. The BE showroom is very nice, and consists of two rooms - the showroom itself, and a more private room where you have your appointment. For our appointment, it was only us and our ring stylist, but sometimes there are two stylists in there at the same time, she said. I came prepared with a few styles from the website I wanted to see - the Waverly, vintage Waverly, and some of their sapphires - and they did have the Waverly, as well as a sapphire Waverly (sapphire center), but unfortunately didn't have the vintage one. I'm a big advocate for trying on rings before buying, especially with an expensive purchase like this one - case in point, I saw two others I liked and didn't even notice online, too: the Nova, although it's a bit pricey, and the Chamise, with a twisted band. BE has beautiful rings but the reason for this review being 3 stars is that after my stylist sent out my "look page" of all the rings I tried on - which is a nice idea, by the way, because then I had a more condensed BE website to look at - I emailed her back that night, Sunday, with a few questions. Monday and Tuesday passed; I know BE isn't open Wed/Thurs, so no response then, either; and then Friday passed as well. At that point, I had already selected a ring from the other jeweler I looked at, since they were extremely responsive and even was able to text me back. I finally got a response from the stylist at BE maybe that next Sunday or Monday, apologizing and saying my email went to spam - which is understandable, but I will say, regarding my own work emails, I check spam at least every few days. So in this case, it unfortunately lost them a sale - and if I am not getting prompt communication from a company BEFORE even purchasing from them, I don't have much faith in prompt communication after purchasing, even though my stylist said from now on my emails should be coming to her regular inbox. Edit: I will say that a week after the email response, she emailed me again to follow-up - at that point, though, we had already purchased my ring from a different local jeweler, since I had never heard back from her after the initial visit (timing is definitely important). read more

The services provided at this Brilliant Earth is a dime a dozen. Even though they're an upscale jeweler, they make you feel at home. Our specialist, Kayla, was fully prepared with a variety of rings we had expressed interest in seeing, and had selected additional pieces to view in similar and complimentary styles. She took the time to size us appropriately since some of the pieces we were interested in had different fitting styles. Not only was her service above and beyond, Kayla is also charming, engaging, and personable, making our experience all the better. I had stopped into Brilliant Earth to take a look at some wedding band options. The gentleman that I worked with was very nice and super helpful. A few of the ones that I loved on the website were not in the store, but he helped me get an appointment scheduled so they can be brought in for me to view before making my decision. Feel kind of special that the rings will be brought in specifically for me! lol. He also cleaned my engagement ring while I was there, and wow I didn't realize it had gotten so dirty, I was so embarrassed, but he said I could stop in at any time to have it cleaned, which I definitely will be taking advantage of! read more

I was so excited to go to brilliant earth yesterday after seeing rings I liked on their website! After we walked in yesterday we were met with little enthusiasm. There was also not much of a selection- unless maybe you make an appointment? We then went to a different jewelry store and they welcomed us and educated us on different diamond cuts, clarity, carat etc! It's was nice to finally see someone be as excited as us for our engagement. The girl we worked with said they aren't commission based which was totally felt throughout our time. The pricing was 1,000s less than where we previously looked and higher quality. My engagement ring is beautiful & I still love it , however , 3 of the diamonds fell out in less than a year , due to too much polishing which shortened the prongs that were holding the diamonds. I ended up taking my ring to a different jeweler to fix, since the warranty didn't cover this. I just feel that shouldn't have happened so soon. read more
