I've never had anyone else apply makeup on me beside a disastrous mall department store stop and even worse beauty parties. I had nothing but confidence going into Cherry Blossom Salon after hearing glowing remarks from owner Simone and speaking Jackie directly; she did not disappoint. She made me up better than I ever expected. Fabulous and just the right look for my night out. She was so comforting, and took the time to explain her technique and other tips to maintain my look for the evening. Very impressed with the service. Thanks Jackie!!

Agnes seemed to be in quite a hurry on the phone and not very understanding or knowledgeable when a "retouch" was mentioned. Also after she was informed that other salons seemed familiar with what it was, so her response took me by surprise. She rudely said that people have to always get their entire brows done and she wouldn't even know what color the previous person used, as if she was not interested in treating me like a potential customer. After her scurrying off the phone, I realized she never even gave prices for her "full service," since she didn't seem to do or know of "retouches." Upon calling back, I had to leave a vm again, but have yet to hear anything back from her. THIS is a definite Red Flag of Poor Service to come!

I was seated almost immediately and the technician assigned to me did not speak English. She also had a frown on her face and definitely was not happy. A guy that was doing Nails was translating to her supposedly but she definitely didn't understand. They kept trying to get me to upgrade my pedicure. I went with the $45 pedicure that included everything I needed plus premium fragrance water and lotions. First off the water was cold. I tried to tell her and it's still only ended up lukewarm. I asked that my nails be squared off and ended up with rounded nails. The stuff they put in the water did not have a smell whatsoever neither did the lotion. I received no massage just exfoliation that almost hurt. She wanted to use a cheese grater and I had to tell her no. I didn't even have calluses. She only applied one coat of polish so you could see through it in areas and it was streaked. $45 for a 20 minute no massage pedicure redo is ridiculous. I would definitely never be a patron at this establishment again with all the other wonderful nail salons out there.
