But it was just one hunk of hair on the left side of my head that I couldn't get it right. It just doesn't blend as nice as the rest of the cut, it's longer and thicker. To be fair, in my 45 years as an adult there has only been one stylist who got my hair right the first time; it always needs to be corrected in that area. My difficulty lies in the fact that over the last 3 days I've made 3 contacts to the salon to correct my hair; an email and 2 voicemails. I have time constraints because we are temporarily down to one vehicle which I did explain in the email and one of the voicemails. I also said I don't need a full service, just please blend this one area. On the day of the cut the Jamila was distracted and hurried - she wasn't who I scheduled with, it was her scheduled day off, and she was late for a video interview. I spent $87.50 of hard-earned money on a cut, style, eyebrow wax, and tips. No one contacted me to see what can be worked out. Totally ghosted. Not professional.

All the poshness of a Park Avenue address but at much more reasonable prices.

While in the salon I couldn't see my hair fully, when I went home in proper lighting I realized the atrocity they did to my hair. It's patchy, there's random dark spots in my hair. I couldn't believe that they allowed me to even leave the salon like this. I was so upset, the next day I went back and asked for a partial refund NOT EVEN A FULL ONE. (Which they should have happily given me considering that they destroyed my hair. I had the respect to ask for a partial and told them they can keep the money for the haircut and blow dry. They refused to give a refund and instead offered to fix it. THEY HAVE ONE HAIRDRESSER, do you think I would want her to touch my hair after doing this to it and letting me pay and leave the salon like this? No thank you.
