This year is a new principal, Ms. Cathy Jacobs is ridiculous! She offered me absolutely zero empathy or apology for any inconvenience to my circumstance. She simply repeated herself 3 times, as if I'm stupid or hard of hearing. I have enjoyed visiting with my children's teachers, peers, and most importantly my child at the end of the year holiday party. Apparently, there's a hard copy of a "News Letter" that I was suppose to receive and did NOT. I was suppose to get an email but got an email 2 day before the said event and the slots were full, when I sent 2 notes to the teacher 2 weeks prior to the event. My daughter said the teacher would email me and did not receive anything. This is not the first time that the lack of organization and communication has kept me from enjoying some time with my child. Oh and by the way, my email has not changed in 10 years! I am extremely dissatisfied with the principal her apparent lack of basic sense of humanity!

I have never seen a school that is more dedicated to training students in academics and the Christian faith. If I had the opportunity to choose a school again, I would absolutely pick CCS again. I made so many wonderful friends and learned so much during my time there. I would recommend CCS to any Christian parent who wants their child to receive a quality education and to learn about Christ in the process. Definitely a five star school.

As a parent I have access to each teacher. I know that my kids are prayed for and loved dearly while being taught all subjects through a Biblical world view and I find this priceless specially after seeing what goes on in public schools now a days. Would recommend to any family that is looking for a Christian School with strong Values.

Nice fancy new-looking school, lots of good teachers, smart kids, there are issues of course as there are at every school, but when we've been on campus or dealt with them in any regard, they've treated us well. Schools are tough because people are often hands-on and helicopterish about their children (we are not like that about our niece and neither are the parents), but others, yes, I've seen it first hand. So well done to Hancock despite the name.

I am not saying this because they told me to take my hoodie off lol, I am saying this as my experience , they don't do anything about bullying, they treat you like you're dumb if you need accommodations, they treat you so horrible if you are different, which I was rigjt in the middle. And just so you know, many of these adults will think they are above you

They have a LOT of learning activities even in the short 9-1 day, plus playground time, lunch, and free play. He always wants to show me what he did that day before we even get to the car. His teacher is utterly fantastic and so professional with parents and fun with the kids. We are always greeted by more than one staffer on our way in and out of the building, usually referring to my son by name. The parental involvement and special activity days also make this school great!

She loves school more than anything, to have your child beg to go to school, happy every morning is priceless. She grew to be a confident and kind girl and I am positive the school had an immense impact on this. I always felt heard, communication with leadership as well as teachers have been amazing. The performances always blow my mind and last years robotic show for first grade surpassed my expectations. Truly recommend.

Then, were so impressed with their handling of the pandemic in 2020 (we experienced no "covid learning loss"), it was an easy decision to stay on for the primary grades. And we have not been disappointed! We continue to have truly great teachers, that you can actually interact with every day at drop off and pickup and build relationships with them. I highly encourage anyone who is interested to schedule a tour or go to one of the open houses. Not only is it a charming environment, you will be amazed at how much more they manage to cover than just the basics. There is a focus on fine arts and performances, which are so great for confidence building. But they also get into robotics, go on cool field trips, and seem to have more fun events and activities than you might get in public school. The summer camp sessions are great, too! We'll be very sad to move on after 4th grade!

The only teacher who actually treated me the same as others was my pre-k teacher Mrs.Sudtelgte which I loved her she was the best. In kindergarten Mrs.lopez made my school life a living hell. My teachers were always rude to me and would treat me differently than others they would make mean comments to me and humiliate me in front of the whole class. When I was getting bullied no one ever helped or believed me. It's crazy you would think elementary teachers would treat their students better n try their best to make a good experience. No child should ever be treated differently no matter what race they are. And not to mention they took me out of my classes for esl so I stopped getting the help and extra time I needed which made my grades drop and made me start to struggle in school. Also Mrs.hicks was an awesome coach. School is supposed to be a safe place for learning not a hateful place especially for children.
