First, we were impressed by the appearance, security and check-in system. Then the curriculum for the kiddos. Debbie and Raquel are great directors and have a solid plan for the kids. The entire staff there has been great, they even remember names and faces! This Childtime has an app that allow the parents to get text and picture updates throughout the day. As techies, we appreciate this sooooo much. Also they provide cooked breakfast, lunch and good snacks. Our kiddo is a picky eater but has no problem with the meals provided here so it's a win for me and mommy. Anyway, our daughter has been having a blast at this daycare. She enjoys the all the activities here from playtime, the educational and artistic activities, etc. She never wants to leave and she's always happy to be there so as long as she's happy and learning then Childtime is definitely a winner with us.

In my personal experience and opinion, the facility did not feel like the right fit for my child…read more During my visit, I observed bugs in some of the rooms, low classroom energy, and the cook present in the classroom with students. I am not alleging harm or wrongdoing. The staff did show patience in certain situations, which I appreciated. However, the children's restrooms were in poor condition, and while the exterior of the building looks nice, the interior would benefit from improvements. Overall, I feel the childcare center could benefit from better cleanliness, more structure, and additional youthful, engaged teachers. This review reflects only my personal observations and opinion.

The director was really nice. But the turn over was…read moreterrible. They had to place tape on the babies backs with their names written on the tape to keep up with who they were. My child got moved to other classrooms a lot. Her classroom only had 1 teacher so if the teacher ever had to miss they just moved all the kids over. When they did that I couldn't see her on the monitors. I think the teachers were getting kids confused because they would mark they changed my daughter's diaper, and I would come check on her & her home diaper would still be on. ( daycare diapers had her name written on them as required, so I could also tell if she had been changed or not.) sometimes she would go 5 hours or so without a real diaper change. Even though it was marked in the app that they had changed her. They would mark that they fed her 8 oz & then my 4 oz breastmilk bottles would still be in the fridge. So I think they were giving her someone else's milk. Also I could walk in & they would ask me which child was mine. So that definitely worried me. You don't have to be buzzed in( you do have a code) but if someone was in front of you, anyone could slip in while someone else was walking in the school & the teachers didn't know who the kid was much less what the parents looked like. They had pictures of the babies in their own classroom, but since they had to always move them to the older room their pictures weren't in there. Since there was only 1 teacher that meant babies were left crying while she held one baby, or changed a diaper or fed any of them. I'm pretty sure it was the cafeteria staff that would come relieve the teacher for her lunch break. They were all nice people but extremely under staffed, with a high turnover over rate. We left really shortly after we started and found an amazing daycare where there are 4 teachers for about 10 babies. Even the toddlers class has 3-4 teachers all the way until they are two. And we pay less now. The new school has better cameras & more security. Unlimited log ins at our new school. The infants have their own "playground" and go outside everyday weather permitting. it's covered so you don't have to worry about the sun as much. **** update. I didn't post my first or last name on yelp. So that makes sense that you couldn't pull my name off of any database. I also believe it was my spouse that registered our child. However, my child did attend this school. I struggled to post this because I truly thought the staff was nice. But as a parent I would want to know the experience we had. The school was just severely understaffed & everyone was new. Teachers walked out in the middle of the day & quit it got so bad. Those things can be fixed. Thank you for your response, and the invitation to speak with you.

OMG! I cannot tell you how happy I am that I found this location. Not only is it less than 5…read moreminutes from our home, but its clean, the teachers are amazing and my baby boy (11 months old) loves it. Prior to attending Kindercare Spring Branch we had our baby at another daycare that had decent reviews, but it wasn't AT ALL what we thought (i'll keep this positive and leave them out of this). Anyways, we were in the market to find a new daycare and came across this location. (I have always loved Kindercare and even attended as a child and have had many family members who worked for the company. All in all, a great place for kind) Since my son has been attending this location we have immediately seen the difference in his social skills, cognition ability and overall attitude, as well as the level of care he is receiving. The director, Ms. Crystal is GREAT. Not only is she super responsive, but she also made our family feel comfortable immediately. I am able to get an almost immediate responses whenever I message with a question and she even follows up via phone call. Our family also loves Ms. Ashley, the assistant director. She is super friendly and has great rapport with both kiddos and parents.I literally feel so comfortable knowing my son is under their management. One thing that I really like about this location is how clean it is, especially during Covid. At our last daycare, my son was constantly sick and would often have dry snot on his face at pick up. This has NEVER HAPPENED at KinderCare Spring Branch. In fact, every time we pick him up hes clean, and smells as good (if not better) than when he arrived. Being a new mom I was worried about leaving my baby in a new spot, especially since you are not able to enter due to Covid restrictions. This anxiety has been put at ease thanks to the periodically snap shots of my sons day. I can see the enriched activities he is participating in and honestly, I can see a major improvement in his cognition due to some of these activities. It was so important for me to find a daycare that kept my baby clean and healthy, but also helped develop him mentally. He has grown substantially in his abilities since being there. I would recommend this daycare 10/10

Prior to daycare we had a nanny but she wasn't what we thought she was, but that's a different story. Anyways we were in a pinch and needed to find a daycare. In a span of one week I toured 4 different daycares. We chose Kindercare because 1. Ms. Crystal is super responsive and during the tour she answered the list of questions we had clearly, 2. Ms. Lorena had been the main teacher in the infant room for a long time (and she's still there and she really was wonderful with our son while he was in the infant room). 3. I really liked how the babies were getting tummy time and they don't use bouncers/rockers or those sit to stand circular play things. The current assistant director, Ms. Ashley is wonderful and I think she's helped improve this Kindercare location. My son was lucky enough to have her as his teacher in the toddler room before she became to assistant director. In the room my son is now in, there has been one teacher (Ms Shay) that's been in that room since he's started and the second teacher/ helper in that room has changed about 2 or 3 times. I think Ms. Shay has been super helpful with my son's potty training. They really try to adhere to what the parent wants, which made it easier to be more consistent with how the potty training is going at home. One of the or major reasons why we like Kindercare is that they will give your child the food you pack him ( if you choose to do that). In the beginning I would pack all of my son's solid foods because I wanted to make sure he was used to the food I cooked and that I could make sure he got plenty of nutrients as we did not want him to start eating meat too early or get too used to the food offered at the daycare. I won't say it's perfect, nothing ever is, but I honestly don't think we could have made a better choice in the grand scheme of things*. And with the covid pandemic, they've stayed open and have taken the proper precautions to keep the teachers and children safe. It's not as easy to talk to the teachers anymore since I don't want to hold them up at pick up, but I have emailed and they are able to get back to me the within 24hrs about my questions about how my son was doing. If there's one negative I think it is the child to teacher ratio. They go with the state limit, so needless to say I think they could use more teachers. *Side story - there was one point where we were seriously upset and wanted to change daycares because of my son getting bit and we weren't sure if the biting would stop. But after talking with Ms. Crystal about the situation, she laid out the plan to deal with it and the biting stopped. Granted we had to get to step 3 of the plan (remove the bitter from the class). But it showed me that they were really willing to fix the issue and not ignore or brush it under the rug.
