She initially felt better after the procedure and pain medication, but the relief lasted only about three days. Her pain gradually returned and, by the seventh day, had become excruciating. We then took her to her regular dentist, who performed additional imaging and determined that she needed a root canal. When I contacted Pacific Dental to discuss what had happened and express my concerns, the office staff came across as dismissive and defensive rather than helpful or understanding. I understand that dental conditions can sometimes require additional treatment, but the combination of the unexpected insurance issue, the temporary relief, and the way our concerns were handled made this a very poor experience for our family.
