I recommend this if you know your teeth will become very white. Some teeth just don't or need multiple sessions. I was not given clear directions to not bite down hard and so the paste was burning my mouth. Luckily I was able to rinse it out and start again and the staff member who helped me was great. I was also mistakenly given the UV light without the protective glasses for a moment, and I had eye pain and dry eyes after which is not safe. The place itself is just filthy, especially the bathroom and chairs. It could use a simple wipe down and vacuum. I have done the Crest strips, but you have to remember to use them and you cannot see the results right away. I was told about this place by a fellow yelper and thought I would give it a try. Britbar is dentist owned and Dr Edwin is there on weekends and can answer any questions you may have. He uses the same stuff that is used in the office but at a discounted rate. I went with the SuperBrite because it included remineralization treatment. All of the options include a take home whitening pen and tray so you can do a "touch up" as needed. The whole session was about 30 mins. and I left happy with super white teeth! There are a few parking spaces in the back, so that is also convenient and it is about a block past the Grove. Dr. Edwin (DMD I should add) is incredibly knowledgeable in dentistry and was very helpful in answering the questions that I had on whitening my teeth and keeping them white! Remember, strawberries are good for whitening your teeth! Also, banana peels are also good! During the session, Dr. Edwin was very helpful in guidance of the teeth whitening session. I sat in this really cool sound proof seat and put on these cool glasses that blocked some of the light coming from the lamp. I absolutely loved the before and afters and knowing that my teeth were shades lighter than what they were before. I had always tried different teeth whitening techniques like using different kinds of toothpaste and what not, but this session definitely did what I wanted these products to do! I have tried self tooth whitening kits, but I really feel like when you set an appointment up with Dr. Edwin you get results and don't need to worry about the first time mistakes that someone new buying one of those DIY kits would run into! Overall, this Is something to try out or something to do before you get those wedding shots taken or before you need to be really photogenic because you can definitely see a different. What really helps is that Dr. Edwin is a DMD or doctor of medicine in Dentistry, meaning he really knows his stuff and that you can trust him to make sure your britebar experience is the best. I was a fan of crest whitening strips, but I haven't been able to use them due to sensitivity caused by the strips. I drink coffee quite religiously and my teeth aren't as white anymore. I'm excited that my teeth are way whiter and I have no sensitivity. Yay! Parking: FREE PARKING IN THE BACK! Yess I love free parking this is important for me. I was eating at Robata Jinya and I saw the cute egg pods. So I came in and inquired about treatment. Treatment starts at 99,149,199. I got the 199. The remineralization helps with sensitivity. Would recommend for folks like me. It costs less than Zoom and doesn't cause sensitivity. In office treatments are 300+ and cause sensitivity. The strips are cheap but also cause it too. So I'm happy to pay 199 every half year or as needed. The store is owned by a dentist and I'm quite annoying/have a lot of questions about ingredients and percentages of peroxide, why they use LED, etc. This isn't like the mall kiosks in terms of ingredients so I appreciated that. And it's kosher too, nice ! Please note they're open on Friday and Saturday which doesn't make it Halacha. The place just uses kosher ingredients. I think that's important for some of my peeps out there. My teeth are a lot whiter and the explanation from staff for after care was great. Free coconut water every check-in? This was absolutely a waste of money. I already had fairly white teeth and I selected the level three whitening option, "Superbrite 30 minute session $199 (6-12 shades whiter)" and my end result was MAYBE 2 shades whiter. The application of the gel was done sloppily and mostly dropped down onto my gums. I would recommend you STAY AWAY from this place and source out other options in Los Angeles. For your own good, AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS; unless you like tossing money in the trash and sitting in a store that needs a good cleaning. This was a 0 star experience. Hope this helps y'all! read more

I can see a major difference having taken pictures before and now looking at the after pictures. Great results from a very friendly staff in a nice setting. Also, I met the owner, Edwin, of these locations. He is a bonafide young dentist, not a mere entrepreneur. He's a graduate of Tufts dental school. I was doing the "deluxe hyper ultra fancy" 30 minutes treatment hand in hand with my girlfriend a week ago and I am not happy with the result at all neither my girlfriend! Went into the shop,no preferences,no Explanation before the treatment unfortunatelly,I would say unprofessional.So the most expensive treatment (199$ each)what we both had made such a small difference what supposed to do up to 12 shades whiter.
