After the basics Dr Joseph Stan walked in with a big smile and a hearty laugh that filled the room. I decided to get my teeth whitened while I was there and the process was smooth and quick. This office is by far the best dental experience I have ever had and the entire team makes you feel like family. You can tell that the chemistry and friendship runs deep at this establishment. Also, I believe there was only one other patient there while I was waiting to go in. Everyone took the time to explain my X-rays and talk me through my teeth in a way that actually made sense. They truly go through a whole process of scanning your head to see 3D figures to not just talk teeth but also things that have an effect on the mouth. Dr. Lebo was incredibly thorough and hygienist Debby finished everything off perfectly; she polished my teeth off to make them whiter than usual. Instead of stress, there were essential oils, warm hand treatments with a hot towel, Netflix playing in the background, and an overall spa-like experience that genuinely shocked me. I was completely relaxed the entire time. They made sure I understood everything, checked in the entire time, and genuinely cared about making me feel comfortable. In term of parking, there are several free for 2 hours public lots near by and utilize that! While it is Beverly Hills they still find way to allow people to save while enjoying the city.

I also want to clarify that my concern was never whether a procedure was covered by insurance. My concern was that I often felt encouraged toward higher-cost treatments without receiving explanations that gave me confidence they were necessary. For example, when I was told I needed a deep cleaning, I don't recall being given a clear explanation based on the condition of my teeth at the time beyond the fact that I had received one previously. Regarding the Invisalign issue, my frustration was not the outcome itself, but how it was handled. I raised concerns beforehand, incurred additional expense afterward, and felt dismissed when I returned seeking help. I also noticed that your response did not address one of the main points in my review: the way additional services were often presented as being "free" or costing very little because they could be applied against the $150 deposit or membership credit I had already paid. Regardless of intent, that approach never felt transparent to me and contributed significantly to my loss of trust in the practice. I recognize that many patients have had positive experiences with TruGlo. My review simply reflects my own experience and the reasons I ultimately chose to seek care elsewhere. I did receive your voicemail yesterday and plan to return your call today. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I really wanted to like TruGlo. The offices are beautiful (especially the Beverly Hills location), the staff is friendly, and the reviews are stellar. Unfortunately, after being a patient for several months, I completely lost trust in the practice and ultimately switched dentists. A few examples: 1) The upselling and pricing explanations never sat right with me. One of the first recommendations I received was for a deep cleaning, which is significantly more expensive than a standard cleaning. When I asked why it was necessary, the primary explanation seemed to be that I had received one in the past. Maybe there were legitimate reasons, but I never felt like I received a clear explanation based on the actual condition of my teeth and gums. In fact, the hygienist also said she could not do a standard cleaning because she could 'be held liable'. I was shocked. More broadly on more than one occasion, I often felt pressured to add services and then told they were essentially "free" or "only a few dollars" because the charges could be applied against my $150 deposit or membership credit. That logic never made sense to me. It's still my money. It felt like the office would recommend additional treatments and then use money I had already paid to make the cost sound insignificant. The whole thing felt more like a sales tactic than transparent healthcare pricing. What really made me question things was when I showed my treatment plan and charges to a few dentist friends. Several of them were surprised by some of the extra fees and told me those were things many dentists typically don't charge for separately. I understand every office is different, but by that point it was hard not to feel like the practice was looking for every opportunity to bill for something. 2) I lost confidence after a crown procedure. Before getting a crown, I specifically told the dentist that I used Invisalign and even brought my trays with me. I was assured the crown would be shaped so my trays would still fit afterward. The crown itself was fine, but my Invisalign trays no longer fit. I ended up having to spend hundreds of dollars and significant time getting new trays made. To make matters worse, the office later told me they would try to help by providing a complimentary scan. Based on that conversation, I made a special trip back to the office, only to be told when I arrived that they couldn't do it after all. The whole interaction felt very dismissive. No one seemed particularly concerned that I had made the trip based on their earlier assurances, and there was little effort to take accountability for the situation. 3) The stellar reviews make more sense now. Patients are offered complimentary services (such as fluoride treatments) in exchange for leaving a review, and you're asked to show the review before receiving the free service. While everyone is free to leave whatever review they want, it definitely made me view the overwhelmingly positive ratings a little differently. To be fair, the office is beautiful and many of the employees are genuinely kind. But between the upselling, the Invisalign issue, the communication problems, and the review incentives, I ultimately decided to take my dental care elsewhere.

Once I had arrived, I was seated and he began explaining what exactly the 25 minutes ahead of me would entail. I experienced the best customer service of my life at Vivid Smiles Express! Danny made me feel completely comfortable and I could tell that he genuinely cared about my experience. He went into great detail explaining the process to me and actually stood by my side the entire time I was in the chair. I went back to visit Dany today and had another fantastic experience (nb. Yelp removed my review from earlier this year when Dany relocated from Century City to a great new space in Beverly Hills so I wanted to be sure my feedback made it!). The new space is great and Dany was the consummate professional. He was able to get terrific results that refreshed my smile and didn't hurt at all (and I have historically very sensitive teeth). Could not have imagined a better experience! Ignore any bad reviews, this is the simplest, easiest, cheapest, and most effective way to get your teeth whitened... I was in and out in a half-hour, and my teeth were 8 shades whiter, I couldn't believe it. No sensitivity issues. The guy clearly has years of experience, and tries every way he can to make sure you get the most effective treatment. My fear was so bad that I avoided going at all cost.. even when I had a broken tooth. I lived with it for almost four years because my dental anxiety was so overwhelming. Finding Dr. Bral completely changed that for me. From the very beginning, Dr. Bral made me feel comfortable, safe, and never judged for how long I had avoided treatment. She took the time to explain everything clearly, including my insurance and what steps I should take moving forward, which helped relieve so much stress. Because my tooth had been broken for so long, the extraction and bone graft ended up being more involved than expected. Even with that, Dr. Bral communicated with me throughout the entire procedure so I always knew what was happening. She also helped manage my anxiety by guiding my breathing and even having me hold a cold cup of water to help ground me when I started feeling overwhelmed. I also want to give a huge thank you to her assistant Maria. When we first started the numbing process I started to panic, and she immediately helped calm me down. She talked me through everything, checked on me the entire time, and explained the aftercare so clearly. This was honestly the best dental experience I've ever had. Dr. Bral truly goes above and beyond for her patients, especially for those of us who struggle with dental anxiety. Because of her patience and care, I was finally able to take care of something I had been afraid to face for years. The place is very clean and had very comfortable central air. I noticed all the rooms had brand new highest advanced technology in dental care. And the best part- all rooms had 60 inch TV' so I was able to watch FIFA soccer. Plus they have Netflix, HBO or whatever you want. Such a bonus The cavity filling was painless and as the Dr said- "easy peasy". And it was They also have this new Air Flow machine that takes away all stains and plaque on your teeth. Highly recommend the Tooth Doctor!!!

In the past I've had hygienists that cleaned and caused a lot of pain and did not take into consideration how I was feeling as much as Jesse and Susan did. Susan also taught me a lot more about the tools and how to use them to add to my current dental hygiene. I'm actually excited to go back for my 6-month and I hope I get Susan and Jesse again.

I have never left a negative review before and always give places the benefit of the doubt and even…read moreinitially gave this place five stars the first time I came but I have been immensely frustrated by the people who work the front desk/reception at Fuller Smiles Santa Monica. I developed an extremely painful, very swollen, pus-filled dental abscess late last month, and called Fuller Smiles to see if they could have me come in that day to have it get evaluated or drained. I was told by the receptionist that no one could see me same day, and since it was a Friday I could check back on Monday. The abscess was swollen and painful and if left untreated can cause more infection, loss of the tooth, and sepsis, and I pointedly asked the receptionist so I can't be seen even if it's an abscess and a dental emergency? To which the receptionist replied no and asked me to check back three days later when they're open again on Monday. Of course, I found a different facility and got it drained that day and was confirmed by the other dentist of the abscess. I then went back to this Fuller Smiles a few days later to get it evaluated by Dr. Katie, my usual dentist, and she did a CT scan for me and referred me to an endodontist. I called the receptionist at Fuller Smiles today and asked if the results of my CT scan could be sent to the endodontist or to myself to show the endodontist so they could get a complete picture of what's going on. The receptionist then tried to tell me I didn't get a CT scan done, when I know I did because I was literally in the machine getting it done a few weeks ago. I then told her the date of the test and she found the record but then told me she couldn't send it over to me because of software issues, even though it is my legal right to get a copy of my imaging tests. I asked her how the endodontist would be able to evaluate me then without having my test results and she basically told me to get another repeat CT scan done there, without any regard to any unnecessary radiation exposure that would mean or if insurance would cover it. Overall I thought the dentists here were great, but Jackie at the front desk was very unsympathetic and unhelpful, and I am considering taking my business elsewhere just so I don't have to deal with her anymore.
