Seth answered my call himself (no messages and telephone tag), and was able to give me quote while we were on the phone together. I booked him for the next day to power wash my house (vinyl siding) and wash all my windows (some old triple tracks and some newer). He and his three guys were professional, friendly, and hard-working, and my satisfaction with their work was a requirement for them. They got the service done, but I wasn't happy with the service: Stewart and his coworker, came to do the work, and they were professional and courteous. But they got at my house 1/2 hour late, and did a quick job, leaving 1 window uncleaned. I asked Stewart to do more for the 2 windows, that I always stare at, and needed cleaned. The one in the kitchen, and the guest bathroom window. He said he wasn't allowed to do that. Once they left I scrubbed and cleaned these 2 windows. It took me less than 5 mints. They got the work done, but I wasn't happy with the quality of the job, for the money I paid. It was a small job, that should had been done with care. read more

We moved into a 125 year old rental property a couple of months ago in Midtown Village. I am not sure when the windows/storms/screens were installed, but it was decades ago (all wood, painted multiple times, and over-painted into the 8 over 8 panes. Seth came out and gave us a quote for the 10 windows on our 3-story house. Before they arrived, we realized that most of the windows could not be opened. Our landlord sent over a maintenance team, and they got the windows to open (after a couple of hours). When the BrightSide team arrived, they realized that the storm windows could not be easily removed, and, therefore, they could not access the screens to remove them and clean them. After some deliberation, we altered the work and price to accommodate the reality of the situation. It took a couple of hours before I got a $#it-eaten grin on my face looking at how the windows/house looked. The windows were SO DISGUSTING, after having not been cleaned for many, many, many years (30 years, or so would be my guess). They cleaned the sills, and in between the windows and storms. They took their work boots off before entering the house (very respectful). I have slider doors, that I said I did not need to be cleaned (with pets, and the doors right next to the refrigerator (where there is fluid spillage on a regular basis), they need to be cleaned about once a month anyway, but Seth said there would be no extra charge (I think he felt bad that we had to renegotiate the work order, but it was so very nice of him to do so). The whole crew was very pleasant and efficient. To give you an idea of price, it was $400 - but they were only able to do the inside of the 3rd floor windows because of the configuration of them -but at least we could put new curtains up without them getting dirty (we paid cash, because privately owned businesses take a large hit from the credit card companies that take a large percentage from each credit card transaction, which hurts the owners). I would like to remind those reading this, that you should ALWAYS tip the non-owner workers - ALWAYS! They took a great deal of the over-paint crap off of the panes, and it looks FABULOUS (at least as fabulous as neglected, very old windows can look)! I can see the trees outside - no gray film covering my view from the windows and storm windows. I have flowers in my courtyard that actually look the way they are supposed to when I look out. Hooray!!!! Christmas is coming, and I will be able to enjoy my decorations in the courtyard while sitting by a fire. Highly Recommended! read more
