I was reprimanded for asking for a discount since I shopped there all the time, and the Chinese girl couldn't even speak English, and the guy was going to give me my purchase for $38, and then asked for the tax which was $3.17, and then said $41 was okay, and then the girl demanded that I give her the 17 cents. PETTY! I sent an email to the manager and was sent a rude email back, stating that all customers have been demanding discounts (this was my first time ever asking), referred me to go to Bloomingdales, Saks, and Bergdorf-Goodman and ask for a discount and see what I get (the business is completely different one from the other and this has nothing at all to do with them), BUT thanked me for my business, and said the information would be forwarded to the managers. DON'T BOTHER WASTING YOUR TIME OR MONEY IN THIS PLACE. There are many other better places to spend your money in Manhattan, that would treat you with much more respect. The following is an example of how they resolve a problem - "First of all we appreciate all of your business, but our cashiers were told a few months ago to not give anymore discounts, unless the customers spent a very large amount. Because this has becoming a problem for us, more and more customers are demanding discounts and we do have a business to maintain. Our jewelries are already at an insanely low price, so it is really unreasonable to be asking for a discount in the first place. Our store never had a policy stating that if a customer spent more than 6 items they can get 2 items for free, our cashier only give out discounts out of kindness. If you want to buy jewelry at a discount price, maybe you can try Saks, Bloomingdales, or Bergdorf Goodman and see if they will give you any discounts when you shop there. Thank you for contacting us about your concern I will make sure to let the manager know about this problem with the discounts and have him talk to all of our cashiers."

Having served as the chairwomen of the Council of Fashion Designers of America, Diane often mentors young designers, is an advocate for female empowerment, and supports several non-profits through her charity, the Diller-Von Furstenberg Family Foundation. Jack is located down diamond alley (AKA the Diagon Alley of diamonds). You walk into this store at 75 W 47th, and then find his booth on the left. My boyfriend said that the first day with Jack was all about diamond education; what the terms for diamonds mean, how they're scaled/rated, etc. He can tell me more about my ring than I can. After telling Jack what I was into, he showed him a couple of choices and picked the one he wanted by the second option. Later, he chose the best stone in his price range and put it altogether. We got engaged a few weeks later, and a week after that I went back to get it resized. The resizing takes place across the street inside of another business. It's like a mall of factory workers with open flames melting, smiting, and reforming jewelry. They were able to resize it by adding two little balls which if I get fat can just come off. The next day, I received a phone call from jack to make sure everything went well. No one in NYC gets married but if they did I'd definitely recommend Jack!
