Came back with a $900 bill to replace an $80 dollar season on the outside of my fuel tank with an estimated completion of 2 days later. They said it wasn't a warranty item. Then charged me $210 just to get my car back with no repairs. I have brought this up to their management, and have received nothing, not even a phone call to discuss my concerns. Be careful about any "extras" during the finance portion of a vehicle purchase. I purchased a new vehicle and was lead to believe I was paying for an extended warranty that would come into play after the factory warranty. Fast forward 1 year 19,000 miles later, traded the car in for another Ford, newer model and found out they sold me a warranty that is the same as the factory warranty that comes with the vehicle. So even if something would have failed, the extra warranty would have done me no good. Was lead to believe i would receive a full refund but only received 2/3 after I called 13 times and spoke to 7 people. read more

(UPDATE) Got the truck 10/1/25 and the truck threw a check engine light no less that 50miles after receiving it. Electrical concern with knock sensor says the ford app. Will no longer be working with this dealer and strongly advise anyone else the same. 6/25/25 Took my raptor in for some warranty work(cam phasers, 4x4 actuators and transmission slippage). All of that took 4 weeks to complete. Within 2 weeks of receiving it the 4x4 actuators still wouldnt engage. That same week the motor locked up and had to take it back. 5 weeks later still dont have the truck repaired. I asked many times about a rental, and was told they did offer them but every single time over the span of 2 months they were all lent out. The whole process was unnecessarily difficult. read more

Buyer be warned This place is a scammer nest I bought a 2017 Nissan Titan from them only to find a bunch of details with this vehicle 1) rear window defrost broken off the glass 2) rear view mirror not mounted properly 3) at cold start I got knocking noises after a week of driving the vehicle call the service department they suggested I bring the truck to them only to tell me they can't seem to hear it so I went home and the next morning I recorded the symptoms and called the again They sent me to Nissan to get it figured out with manufacturer guarantee Nissan took care of it. 3) the next few months my a/c goes out I called Brighton ford to get it serviced since I have the extended warranty with them all I was getting was hot air out of the drivers side and cold out the passenger side I figured it was a bend door Dropped off the truck they supposedly fixed the problem but with my thermometer gun I checked the temperature blowing out and it was between 97 and 114* I thought that was very hot for an a/c property working according to Brighton ford Took my truck back left it for like 2 months and after that I got a call back to come get it and I was welcomed back with a nice bill of over $200 for diagnostics and supplies I thought that was uncalled for but I paid the bill took my truck home and never ever ever ever will be back to this nest of clowns Like a said Buyers be warm RUN FAST RUN FAR AND STERR AWAY FROM (BRIGHTON FORD) their techs look like bunch of kids straight out of tech school with Pittsburg tool boxes looks like a pile of untrained trech's and know nothing clowns. I came in on 4/6/21 because I received a call that a truck I was interested in, a F250, was in and available. Joe was awesome and was very prompt and even had the truck up front and ready for me. I didn't have much time, so this was awesome service. He showed me the features of the truck and then got my license and information so that I could take it for a test drive. I drove the truck and really liked it. We discussed a trade in value for my existing truck and then the numbers on the new truck to see if we could work out a deal. 3 hours later after back and forth with financing and the sales manager Johny, we arrived at an agreed upon price. I gave Joe my fleet account number to receive my Ford benefits and he said he would be right back after he gave it to his sales manager. He later returned and said that unfortunately the sales manager was not able to honor the agreement at this time. This is not a new agreement and my company has had this with Ford for years. I wasted 3 hours of my extremely valuable time here just to be told that they don't honor a valid program. I hope that small amount of time that it would have taken in paperwork to do the fleet deal was worth losing a customer. The sales manager Johny wouldn't even come tell me why, apologize for the time they wasted, or offer to make it right. I emailed the general manager to follow up and see what was going on and what happened and have still never received a response. Joe gets 5 stars, but management was poor. In 2022 they Wanted 11K to replace a $100 part they were supposed to fix before selling the truck to me and they never did the work and sold me the truck anyway. When I went back they said the engine was blown (1 month later) which was a pile of horse Shiite. Bought the part needed and took it another mechanic who replaced the part which fixed the problem. 2 yrs later still no issues..,Never will I ever buy another truck from them or get repairs done there. Took my Ford Mustang in for a repair in February only for the issue to reoccur in June after paying for the repair. Took it back in June and didn't hear from anyone for almost a week about my car and had to call for an update. I was told that the issue was the same as before(which I had already paid for in February) and this time they can not fix it while also recommending me to someone else where they can get a quote. No mention of the money that I had already paid for the previous repair only for the issue to reoccur, which tells me you never fixed it in the first place. Contacted them again about this issue and still have yet to hear from anyone after talking to 2 reps on their online chat in 2 consecutive weeks. Awful customer service to the fullest. read more

I have to say that Brighton Ford was amazing! I bought my Bronco from Omeara and started having electrical issues and problems with driver and passenger windows two weeks after purchase. I took it back to them to fix and all that they did was clear codes and had me pick it up. They did absolutely nothing to fix the problem. I brought it back again and had the same result. The service manager was so rude and dismissive that I literally had to have my salesman break my Bronco out of the service area so I could come get it. Awful, I know. My experience was so awful that it took months for me to try with another dealership. A co-worker of mine referred me to Brighton Ford. Their family takes their Ford vehicles there and they have always had great service. So I made my appointment. I have to tell you that I feel that they rolled out the red carpet for me. They were so thorough and David was very communicative throughout the whole experience. My mind was eased and they did an amazing job. I told him I haven't gotten the chance to love my Bronco yet and he reassured me that I would love it, and I do!! They went over and above and I am so grateful for the amazing service they provided! I purchased a new Edge ST from Brighton Ford. My son is a Ford employee so we qualified for employee pricing. They had no idea how the plan works and I had to keep correcting them on the process. They tried to tack on additional fees that the program certificate clearly says are already part of the deal. Now several months later they are calling me to get all of the documentation that they were supposed to collect at the time we signed the contract. Heavy forbid I don't answer when they call amd they immediately call my wife. This is despite the numerous times I have told them that I am working during the day and they should just text me. I went to Brighton Ford to send the money through my local town but next time I will go to Schomp Ford where my son works. This place is an absolute joke. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!! I took my car in June for a check up to make sure my ford escape was up to par since it reached 100k miles. Only to have my check engine light to come on 3 months later. I took it in again to get it diagnosed and they stated I would need a whole new engine and it would cost me $10k to get it fixed. When I asked for the diagnostic report it didn't even state what they diagnosed it just stated what I had told the tech about the check engine light coming on. My dad ended up taking it to one of his mechanic friends and they didn't find anything wrong with it. I've been driving my car for over 5 months and have had no issues. I don't not believe they actually do any work on vehicles they just say they do to collect your money. Avoid this dealership they will try to scam you. read more

LIES AND DECEIT. I was told a new 2020 Ford Escape Titanium VIN #1FMCU9J9XLUA34135 was discounted by almost 10K from the MSRP of 39K since it sat on their lot for over 10 months and that since it was almost the end of September 2020, they believed in aggressive pricing. This all sounds believable right? I sure thought so, until the ugly truth came out after all the paperwork was signed and I was ready to take posssesion of the vehicle. Turns out this was a "damaged discount" vehicle and they tried to sneak in a buyers acknowledgment form for me to sign along with the many other forms required as part of any sale. The finance manager initally stated that it did not need to be signed, since the vehicle was not damaged. He later came back and stated, it needed to be signed if I wanted to drive the vehicle off the lot. When I questioned what type of damage the vehicle had, their deception continued. I was told, "Well, we don't know if there was actually any damage but the vehicle was on the lot at the time that a storm hit and other cars were damaged". I asked for proof that there was no damage to the vehicle I was buying and guess what, they couldn't provide any proof. Why would I need to sign an "as is" damage waiver if their was no damage? The simple answer is because there was damage and I challenged them on it and cancelled the deal and drove off in my would be trade in. Later that day, I gave them the opportunity to right their wrong and I asked for a comparable size discount on a comparable car and the answer was, oh yes of course, an extra $300.00 off any other car. This proved to me the car they were trying to push off on an unsuspecting buyer was in fact damaged and most likly part of an insurance claim. SHADY. My next step is to file an official complaint with the Colorado Attorney General's office for DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICES. The CAG takes these types of claims seriously and are in place to help protect consumers from predatory businesses, like Brighton Ford. Note: The car was not advertised as damaged (I have a dated print out from their website) a few other cars were listed as "damage discount" and fully disclosed in the ad. When the Finance Manager asked the Sales Manager if their ad disclosed this information for the car I was buying. The sales manager was like uhh, hmm, mmm, well no. BUYER BEWARE AT BRIGHTON FORD. Sales man M.B. was good to work with, he was helpful and friendly and overall a good guy in my opinion. I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he didn't know anything about the damage, but his manager sure enough did. There was no viable damage, so it must have been fixed up prior to being offered for sale. I assume it was hail damage, but again, they couldn't and wouldn't tell me. The sad thing is, I probably would have still bought the car if this information was fully disclosed from the beginning and with a little extra price negotiation in the end. I really didn't appreciate been lied to, almost being taken advantage of and having 6.5 hours of my time wasted. Luckily, I had the intelligence to notice their deception and the courage to walk away. Im sure most of their rural Colorado customers wouldn't. By the way, the Escape was removed from their website a few hours after I left on 9/19/20. I wonder why? Shame on you Brighton Ford and anyone that had full knowledge of this plan to rip off an unsuspecting customer that just wanted a good deal on a car. Since May 25th I had my Raptor at the dealership for new steering gear and cv axle, I have the ford extended warranty premium plan on my 2013 Raptor with 89k miles, they refused to honor the service warranty through ford. I had to call ford and get them involved and they told me 8 months tell they can get new steering gear, I found them online at ford oem parts, I had to tell them how to file a warranty claim, I had to tell them how to fix my truck. They are so lazy the service manager has a really bad attitude, the service people are lazy and have a attitude, I put in a call to the dealership Manager and owner, no call back, it is now the 6th of August and nothing has been done. They keep on refusing to fix my Raptor under warranty. If you take any car in there to get fixed good luck because they have no clue on how to fix a car I had to do all the leg work for them to even get the parts. Now it is a waiting game to get my truck fixed. The last vehicle I purchased had free lifetime oil changes that came with it. The last oil change I was informed that they were canceling the program ( its in the contract somewhere that they can cancel at any time). So I have a 2020 Ford fusion that I had scheduled in for an oil change. It took them over two weeks to get me in and then say that they have a loaner car I can borrow because there's something wrong with my wheel I messed around with these people for over a month and there was no loaner vehicle. Bought a brand new F-150. By 4,500 miles our truck had burned through so much oil that the pistons were slapping. Ford ignored our concerns even though they found metal in the oil. They told us that it was normal to burn oil and that nothing was wrong with the truck. A brand new truck already damaged before the first oil change. Even corporate refused to fix it. I can't say enough great things about the service department! The best customer service I've ever encountered and the diesel mechanics are essentially wizards. Troy and Baum found a mistake another dealership made and were quick to fix it. This was something other mechanics hadn't been able to figure out but they figured it out in less than 5 minutes. Traveling cross country, the truck I was driving was a truck carrying Jet A for fueling helicopters along with a trailer. Getting stranded would've sucked but dying of carbon monoxide or a fire would've been game over. These guys essentially saved my life. This is no exxageration! Mike Liebendorfer, Heath and Kelly Condray were exemplary employees and also should be mentioned because they all did a fabulous job too. The lady with the black hair at the service counter next to Kelly's station was super rude.
