I recently had to undergo a deep cleaning--a procedure I've unfortunately had to endure at least four times before. Let's just say, it's never been something I've looked forward to. Add to that a history of unpleasant dental experiences and the retirement of my long-time dentist, and I had truly grown fearful of even routine cleanings. I stayed with my former dental office out of familiarity, but with a rotating staff of dentists and hygienists, it never quite felt right. After being referred to a periodontist once again and letting another year slip by in fear... I finally took a leap and began searching for new specialists in my area. That's when I found Drs. Nason & Lopez, and I'm so grateful I did. From the very first phone call, I felt seen and heard. The person who answered had the warmest, most comforting voice -- like a sweet grandma -- and she truly listened to my story. She found me an appointment quickly, and just a week later, I was in their office. And WOW... every single person I encountered was incredibly kind, professional, and personable. The energy in the office was warm and reassuring. Even the woman who took my X-rays was amazing -- gentle and patient. The periodontist clearly explained every step of my treatment and the timeline ahead. I didn't have a single question because everything was communicated so well. For the first time in a long time, I felt completely at ease. Now... I must give a special shoutout to my hygienist, KATIE -- an absolute rock star! She made both of my appointments smooth, gentle, and (believe it or not) enjoyable. Her playlist was so good I almost wanted to sing and dance -- while she was scraping! That's how soothing and skilled she was. This was by far the most comfortable deep cleaning I've ever had. I'm beyond thankful I found this office. They've restored not only my gum health but also my confidence in dental care. I wish them continued success -- they're truly in the right profession, and it shows in everything they do. Everyone from the front desk staff to insurance verification was quick and easy. My Insurnace was even verified before I arrived for my first appointment. Dr. Godwin was thorough and caring during my new patient exam and the X-Ray tech was gentle and patient with me. After my first visit I had a detailed treatment plan and got lucky and was able to schedule my fillings and cleaning for the following day. Kandiss was my hygienist and was caring and thorough. The assistant to Dr. Godwin ensured that the numbing was complete before I received any shots and for the first time I didn't even feel them. The work Dr. Godwin performed for my filings is amazing. They are perfectly smooth and unnoticeable. Overall I had an excellent experience and highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a caring and efficient office. This was by far the best experience I've had with any dentist since moving to the Carolina's 8 years ago.

The dentist I saw was incredibly kind and thorough. She conducted a comprehensive checkup to ensure there were no signs of infection or inflammation, and even ordered a CT scan of my teeth to make sure nothing was missed. After discussing the numbness and its progression, she gently suggested that it might be Bell's Palsy. However, to rule out the very slight chance of a stroke, she advised me to have someone take me to the emergency room immediately. The staff were all extremely kind and professional, and they asked only that I call and update them on my condition after my ER visit. I felt genuinely cared for, and I believe that level of care is the best any industry can offer its customers. Oh and it is Bell's Palsy. I should be right as rain in a few weeks to a few months.

Small detail was that I, as a patient was never notified. The lack of communication clearly says a lot. Barbra has been my hygienist for.... Almost a decade... maybe more. She has and continues to be very professional. It's always nice seeing Barbra and Dr Schein twice a year. I know some folks usually dread going to see the dentist. But regular maintenance is a must for your teeth. Everything is pretty much the same here, the name above/on the door has changed, but they still provide great service and allow my smile to continue. The transition didn't seem to be as smooth from the previous practice/corporation but I'm glad to see they are working things out. They are taking new patients on, but they only operate on Mondays and Tuesdays for now. I'm sure the situation is dynamic and they will adjust their hours as needs change. For now, I'm glad I still glad to have a great hygienist and dentist to take care of me.

This office was wonderful and from her initial consultation to her follow up Dr. Jamison's office was wonderful. The staff was all very nice and helped to calm both a nervous 7 year old and an anxious dad and while I don't remember everyone's names I do want to give thanks to Cindy. She was extremely nice and really helped my little one feel comfortable. The day of surgery went well and Dr. Jamsion even called that evening to check on her healing. Very nice and even though they're not currently in my insurance network I would absolutely consider them again.
