Talked to Lily 5/19 who told me the reimbursement request would be submitted and that I should expect the check 4-6 weeks. July 15th, sent text for status, no response. July 16th called and spoke to Lily who proceeds to tell me: she read my text and asked Barbara about it. It seems the lady who works remotely (they have a hard time reaching her) didn't submit the request. I then asked if I could speak w/Barbara and was told she's in a meeting. I then asked if there's a corp office she said there isn't one. She then told me looks like there was some kind of system problem so they need to resubmit the request and it will take the bank another 4-6 weeks to process it! I am beyond disgusted with the blame game. Dealing with this billing department has been horrific!! Now it's safe to say they're trying not pay me my money which isn't setting well with me at all. I will NEVER go near another Apex Dental again. *update Waiting for the bone graft to heal before proceeding w/the next step. The reason why I changed to 3 stars is because of their billing process. I've talked to the billing rep and front office on a few occasions because my insurance has been waiting since November for them to submit a narrative and provide the medical necessity so they can pay that portion of the claim and I pay my portion -so far they have not received it yet (I have NO clue why). The next step of this process is going to be more expensive and I can only imagine how difficult it would be for documentation to get sent to the insurer. I'm not feeling comfortable about proceeding w/this office right now! Just had my 1st visit for a tooth implant process and this was the extraction! Dr. S did a wonderful job, she numbed me up so well that she had to tell me when the tooth was extracted. She's warm and personable and patiently answered my questions-very transparent. Other than hearing the drill and feeling pressure the experience wasn't bad at all! Clearly she's highly skilled. Gisele and Stefanie thank you for assisting her and reassuring me. From the receptionist…read morethat signed me in to the nurse who prepped me for the surgery was patient, communicative and diligent so by the time the doctor came in I was already comfortable and ready to go...The doctor came in and started to have a conversation with me as he put the IV in my arms...and all I could remember was feeling little meds going through my nose until I woke up after everything was done. I was wheeled to the parking lot where my ride was waiting, they gave us the prep talk and we were off. I will definitely recommend here if you are looking for a soothe and efficiency dental care done.

I arrived roughly 15 minutes early and was seen right away. The hygienist was very friendly (we even swapped baby stories prior to her cleaning my teeth). To keep you busy while your mouth is wide open, there is a TV placed in perfect view from your seat in your room. After the cleaning was done, one of the dentists came back and looked over my teeth, asked me if I had any questions, then I was on my merry way with goodies (toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, and stickers) to go. My daughter is autistic and she hasn't been to a dentist since she was 2 years old back in Florida. Her first experience was bad which is why I've avoided the dentist for her all these years. Pure Hearts has revived my hope that she can get dental care too. They are fairly new (recently opened in August 2025) therefore they are working with a smaller staff. The office is cozy and everything is brand new! There's a small play area in the waiting room and they offer sensory rooms for your visit. Dr. Simon and the staff were very friendly and patient. I have only one suggestion to improve their service: as they are offering services to special needs children they should incorporate more time between appointments to minimize wait time for those patients. My daughter was getting a little antsy and I was nervous she was going to have an outburst but luckily she didn't. Other children may not be as tolerable. They should be mindful that these children may struggle with long wait time by scheduling to avoid service interruptions or delays. Overall, I'm happy that I found them.

I had an appointment scheduled and arrived 15 minutes early as usual. The lady asked for my…read moreinformation, messed around with the computer and instructed me to have a seat. Shortly after my appointment was set to begin and others who arrived after me had gone back I was called back up to the window and advised my appointment had been canceled due to not confirming. Mind you I have a perfect history of attending my appointments as scheduled. The confirmation texts they send don't indicate the visit will be canceled and I NEVER received a cancellation text or call. This is POOR patient care. I have a busy work and home life and made several adjustments for the appointment. I wasn't offered an apology for the inconvenience of my unnecessary drive there in the rain nor the wait to be told what happened with my appointment. The best they could offer was for me to wait awhile to see if I'd be able to be seen. Circling back to a few months ago, I should've left the practice the time I showed up as scheduled and they couldn't find me in the schedule. I was in pain from a procedure there a couple of weeks ago and happily agreed, although a backup dentist was in. The office needs to take this time to update their notification system and review their patient services process.
