I noticed the beautiful building as i drove past it finding everything else...thinking : "eh.. I'll go to the dentist soon".. Well, my crown popped off yesterday at work. I frantically looked online...."what is the name of that cute dentist office? Ah! I found it! The one that looks like a beach house!" I called and was so happy to hear that they would fit me in the next day. I went in and it feels more like vacation inside.. Dr. Johnston is so nice .... I actually enjoyed this visit to the dentist. 2 weeks ago New "I…read morebrought my daughter to South Belmont Oral Surgery for a routine molar extraction, the Doctor stated that it would be best to have her wisdom teeth removed as well since she would be under anesthesia. A week after the procedure, she developed a severe infection with a large abscess that turned into sepsis, requiring two surgeries and hospitalization. The clinic failed to provide antibiotics until three days after the procedure, despite repeated calls from me for help. I had to threaten legal action to get a response from the office, and on two separate occasions, I never received a callback. Also left voicemails with no response. This has been an incredibly traumatic experience for my family. My daughter is still in the hospital and requires ongoing care, and it could have been prevented with proper communication and timely care. I strongly urge others to be cautious about choosing this clinic. If you decide to proceed with care here, please be sure to follow up thoroughly and advocate for your child. This has been a deeply painful experience that I wouldn't wish on any family."

My husband was very glad that the doctor pointed out some concerns to check back up on the next appointment and was upfront of the action plan. Jim said the office and staff were very helpful and pleasant and really felt comfortable regarding the diagnose he received with Dr. McCord. Even though I live in Charlotte, I plan to take my family there. Sometimes you have to go with the best doctor that has your interest and well being in mind and not about the most money they can squeeze out of you.

After 30 months of treatment, being lied to several times by 2 of the doctors, and him now having quite an overbite (b/c his mouth cannot hold all of his teeth without having an overbite, he wore his rubber bands), we told them to just take the braces off. Oh, and now he has a missing tooth on the bottom! And they never mentioned that could be a possibility until after we were too far into the process to return. And no big deal to them that now I will have to pay to get that fixed, they got our $5000 and I got an extra dentist bill! I told them from the beginning we were ok with removing teeth to help his smile, but they said no and to trust them. I did and I regret it every day!! So, if your child has a smaller mouth or has anything but straightening a couple teeth, I would look for someone else to take care of your child's mouth. My next two boys will not be going here!! I wish I had never walked through their doors. And I wish they would have just owned up to their mistake or offered some kind of refund, but that just proved to me they are doing it for the money, not to help with people smiles.
