They were certainly willing to do things that I was insistent about, but they tried to provide me clear pros and cons so I could make an informed decision, even though agreeing quickly would have allowed them to charge me more for their services. Once I signed on with NYPS they were extremely responsive and professional, answering my questions typically within minutes if not hours. While my town's permitting procedure made the timeline stretch longer than I'd like, they were ready to schedule my install as soon as we had the all-clear from the town and utility. Their installation crew was prompt, efficient, and took care to consult me and work hard so that the end result was not only correctly done but also aesthetically pleasing. They took paints to keep conduit out of sight, and were happy to explain each part of the process to me when I was too curious to simply let them get on with it. My array was given PTO a few days after the install, again a testament to their adherence to code and their clean install, and its been producing a decent amount of energy even in the darkest of months. I would absolutely recommend NYPS to someone interested in solar as a company that has so far shown themselves to be interested in being a good partner for clean energy generation.

One of the best assets NYPS has is their partnership w GreenSky a lender who was able to lend the full tax rebate upfront at 0% interest (!!!) for 18mos, significantly decreasing the money needed initially to get going on install. This is a total game changer. The install team was super professional and fast, installing 30 panels in about 2/3 of a work day. I just got off the phone w their quality assurance team.
