Compassion and addressing emergencies without saying you need an appointment is what is needed. The audiologist broke the hearing aid battery compartment with her long acrylic finger nails. It is Oticon not United Healthcare which is repairing the hearing aid. It is like dealing with third world people.

From the very first visit, Dr. Marghzar was patient, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable. Thanks to his expert care and attention, my father has experienced a significant improvement in his hearing, allowing him to engage more with us and the world around him. Seeing him respond and interact again has been truly heartwarming for my mother and our entire family. I'm beyond grateful for Dr. Marghzar's kindness, professionalism, and dedication to his patients. Thank you, Dr. Marghzar, for giving my father--and our family--the gift of better hearing! Even at CanJam it's not really possible. When I heard about this being possible from Steve the Audiophiliac on YouTube via Dr. Julie Glick's - Musicans Hearing Solutions office, I booked an appointment immediately. Drove down from the Bay Area for this opportunity. First she checked my ears to see if they needed to be cleaned but my ears were already clean. Then onto the demo. I got to try many of the IEMs maybe 12 different ones (not sure), when I went. Ultimate Ears, Jerry Harvey Audio, and 64 Audio were available, and we did the blind tests. I did not feel rushed, and spent at least 2 minutes or longer with each IEM which is all I needed. My personal top 5 picks were, in this order: 64 A18t 64 A18s 64 A12t JH Jimi JH Layla 64 Audio A18t sounded very good, but then we put the m15 apex module in and I was sold. All 5 of them were excellent but I drifted more into 64 Audio's direction. Although JH had stronger bass. I ended up purchasing A18t custom IEMs via Dr, Julie Glick and was able to customize my pair, and even get a discount, and a free hearing test. Was surprised that my hearing came back normal since I've been to over 500 concerts and am constantly wearing headphones, etc. but grateful that I still have my hearing and also that Dr. Julie Glick's shop even exists. Not only am I happy with this opportunity, but it was worth the trip from the Bay Area (6 hour drive).

During a very difficult vertigo episode, Dr. Nava and her team found a way to get me in to their facility the very next day. When you're going through something like that, responsiveness and compassion matter, and they delivered both. Dr. Nava is thorough, patient, and truly cares about getting to the root of the problem, not just treating symptoms. Their follow-up care by phone and Zoom also showed a level of commitment that you just don't see very often anymore. I also want to thank Justine, who helped coordinate everything. She was professional, kind, and extremely accommodating with scheduling, which made a stressful situation much easier to manage. My testing with Dr. Ni lasted three hours and was incredibly comprehensive. Some parts were physically challenging, but what stood out most was how well he prepared me for each step. Before every procedure, he explained exactly what we would be doing, what I might feel, and why it mattered. That level of communication made a huge difference and helped reduce the anxiety going into the testing. What also impressed me was his constant attention to my well-being during the testing. Dr. Ni repeatedly checked on me throughout the process, making sure I was okay and reminding me that we could stop at any time if I needed a break. That reassurance and his calm, professional manner helped me successfully get through what were some very challenging procedures. Because of the thoroughness and expertise of this team, I now have a diagnosis, a treatment plan, and most importantly, confidence that I can manage this condition moving forward. As someone who has worked in professional sports for 27 years, I have been around high-level medical professionals and know what great care looks like. The Dizzy and Vertigo Institute team operates at that level. They are professional, compassionate, prepared, and they genuinely care about their patients. I am very grateful to Dr. Nava, Dr. Ni, Justine, and their entire team for helping me through a very difficult health situation. When you are dealing with something as disruptive as vertigo, having the right team makes all the difference. I'm very thankful I found this one. Jack R.

To start, in March of 2025 I experience my 1st vertigo episode after waking up to a spinning room. I wasn't sure why it happened but after going to a PT she reported I have BPPV, used the epley maneuver and sent me on my marry way. The only issue is that every month, like clock work I kept having vertigo symptoms, waking up in the middle of the night to the room spinning. I have gone to several ENTs with the same stupid response "take medication, you just have vertigo." As someone who likes to believe they're more holistic, I did not accept that as an answer. I just felt like something must be off. While it was an investment I am so happy I found DVI and Dr. Pearce. She is a literal angel and exactly what I needed at the time!! Finally, a doctor that was able to look at the whole picture and not gaslight me to believe that I am just 32 years old with a bad case of BPPV, crystals flying out of my ear every 3 weeks. She tailored a treatment plan just for me, and supported me though further investigation, including blood work, and looking at the neurology of my brain. I learned that my history of migraines and hormonal imbalance may have continued to vestibular migraines. While it was an overwhelming process with ovarian cysts and learning I have endometriosis in the background of it all, I can say that I was able to find peace in this health journey. The spinning has stopped happening in the middle of the night, I do not feel like I'm on a boat the majority of my life, I am not triggered by a spinning washing machine, or a car passing by, and I sure as heck feel like myself again. If you have the ability to see this treatment through, I highly suggest giving Dr Pearce a shot. Getting the whole picture rather than being gaslight and thrown medication at, was worth every penny!
