I came here to get my VNG testing done. Due to having some dizziness and finally decided to get it checked. The facility itself is really clean and nice which I appreciate at any healthcare office. I went on a Friday morning luckily it was not busy, which was awesome. The staff was really nice they all said good morning which is pleasant to see, makes you feel welcomed. I was somewhat nervous but the Dr was really nice and made me feel comfortable. I highly recommend this place I my overall experience was great! read more

Susan Frugone is skilled and great at what she does. I needed custom ear buds to help drown out noise. She took the time to answer all my questions and contact the company that makes the earbuds to get exact details for me. The experience was quick and easy and my custom buds were ready in less than two weeks. Thank you Susan! read more

I want to thank the staff at Audio RX for their highly professional and courteous service. They are an awesome team of specialists and take pride in caring for their patients. I brought my father in for his first hearing exam. Initially, he was nervous and I had know idea what to expect. The staff doctor, Dr. Michelangelo, was very personable and answered all of our questions with ease. Susan and Frank are outstanding audio care specialists, with a knack for making you feel like old friends. Frank took my father through detailed, hands on training for his hearing aid care, made sure the fit and sound were perfect for his particular needs. They made him comfortable in knowing he was in a place where people truly love the work they do and take pride in their products and brand. I appreciate the staff and highly recommend Audio RX for your hearing needs. Thank you for giving my father a whole new level of life and living. read more

I could not be happier with the service and hearing aids I got from AudioRx! The personal attention and professionalism of the people there at every level was wonderful, and gave that small-town feel you like in Los Angeles where health care can so often seem impersonal. I have recently had a chance to accompany someone to another hearing aid service recently, and AudioRx is so much better. The person I was with has decided to switch to AudioRx! And, as someone who had to guide my elderly mother through the hearing aid experience -- I can tell caregivers that this is the place you want as your partner! read more

I'm a DJ and had concerns about ringing in my ears after gigs, so I went to Audio RX. I received thorough hearing tests (unlike anything I've done before) and discovered I hadn't yet damaged my hearing. After that, my audiologist Sarah Balsam discussed the different protective options I had, was patient with all my questions, and took the molds of my ears in the same visit, so I could avoid making an extra trip! AND just when I thought this super cool lady couldn't get any cooler... she offered to do some research to figure out which specific earplugs filters are the best for my specific profession, and got back to me the next morning. Everyone in the office was easy going fantastic people as well, and we're very helpful in figuring out insurance stuff. Thanks!! read more

Was very disappointed in my experience at this place. I've been treated for an ear condition for years. Because of further hearing loss, discomfort in my ears, and trouble, I made an appointment here. The equipment was outdated and the person who did the testing proceeded to tell me that I don't have the ear disease that I was diagnosed with. I was told I just have regular hearing loss and need hearing aids, which was wrong. It felt like I was at a car dealership where the main purpose was simply a sale. I went to a different audiology center right after, where the equipment was actually from this century and the results were far different. They also did a check to make sure. Then, I also went to an ear specialist (MD) who saw me and re-diagnosed me with the same ear disease that Audio RX claimed I didn't have. He also did a scope to view my ear. I was immediately put on steroids and other medication due to fluid in my ears, pressure, and swelling bc of the disease. To summarize, going to Audio RX felt like a waste of money. They actually open themselves up to lawsuits when they try to diagnose (or "undiagnose") someone and they're wrong, especially since this disease worsens if left untreated (and someone won't get treated if they are told by Audio RX that they don't have it). The parking was also a nightmare. On the better side, the person who I talked to over the phone was very nice and seemed intelligent. That just wasn't my experience at the appointment. read more

No follow up or returned calls. I have left several messages for Susan Miziker and no one will return my several calls. This is very unfortunate! read more

I had an audiology exam at Cedars that I found to be quite competent. However, walking our dog one day, we met a neighbor who happened to be an audiologist and I started asking her some questions, Not only were her answer very knowledgeable and complete, I was impressed enough to set up an audiology appointment for my wife with her. That's how we ended up at Audio Rx. My wife's diagnostic appointment was similar to mine, but Dr. Balsam did a couple additional tests I hadn't had. Then she spent about an hour and a half going over various options for me and my wife and patiently explaining everything we wanted to know. Once we were convinced we knew what we wanted, I was surprised at the cost for our hearing aids. While still pretty expensive, they were several hundred dollars per ear below what I had expected. When we went in to receive our hearing aids, once again Dr. Balsam, and the technician, Paul, provided service above and beyond what we expected. We walked out of the office with new hearing aids and, despite a ton of information about them and their operation, a sense of confidence we knew how to operate the pretty high tech devices. Not only were the medical/technical people great, but everyone else we saw, from the receptionist to the owner, was cheerful, friendly and helpful. Overall, we found our experience to be outstanding in every way. Couldn't be happier and can't recommend these people highly enough. read more

Rarely can you find health care professionals that get 5 stars for their services and products. There is always a lingering part of the service or product that reduces the rating. For example, it can be long waits in the waiting room, rude office staff or bad products. What ever it is, you know what I mean. The Audio Rx team is as good as it gets. From the receptionist to the Audiologists they are all so passionate in providing the best care possible to improve your hearing. They make you feel right at home. They explain everything and take the time to make sure you understand how they are going to improve your hearing. Their products are top of the line and they back up what they sell. They truly treat you like family. I highly recommend you pay them a visit for your hearing needs. read more

My wife went here for hearing aids. I have never seen her so happy. She could hear my voice "correctly" for the first time in years. She can hear in crowds, in movie theatres. They have actually made her life better. The examination was thorough and the people at Audio RX are simply the nicest, most professional bunch I've met in a very, very long time. How good are they? My medical group referred me to another nearby office (name withheld) who wanted to charge me 3k MORE than my wife paid for the same exact hearing aids. The exam was nowhere near as complete as the one my wife got. I just called my doctor and told him I need a referral to Audio RX. read more

Greetings to the team at Audio RX, This note is regarding the new hearing aids that you painstakingly fought for on my behalf. Forgive me if I am long winded in this note as I am in a Hearing Aid Frenzy or "HAF". A large portion of my hearing loss in my right ear was due to a viral infection over 30 years ago. My prior hearing aids did provide some assistance/amplification, however, they are quite inferior compared to the new ones you fitted me with this morning. I have became so exhausted of always asking people to speak louder or repeat what they have said often times completely missing those precious moments spoken in each days adventure. I can now hear so many sounds that have been extinct from my hearing for over 3 decades. "Amazing" doesn't even begin to describe the difference. I have been an Audiophile my whole life utilizing a vast array of various and highly rare signal processors. Often times I became emotional as I wasn't able to enjoy music the way I did before my hearing loss. Now I have a brand new lease on hearing and it is so wonderful. Now I am able to once again achieve & savor the stimulation and euphoria obtained from music. As soon as I left your offices and turned on my car radio and I selected "music" from the menu in the app and shazam it was like a magic wand or a more so a miracle had occurred. I can now actually hear the sound from the right speaker in my vehicle. No force known to mankind could remove the smile from my face. When I arrived home I quickly puttered about putting things in order and sat down in my recliner and began playing a brand new set of Led Zeppelin record albums I received as a gift recently. Utilizing the scientific method I cycled the "mute" function on and off several times and the difference in clarity, tone & volume is radical in a beneficial way. For the first time I had to turn the volume down on my stereo. Those folks at Stareky have got my endorsement. I would like to also thank everyone at Audio RX as they also have my endorsement. I applaud you, your keen abilities in my treatment and the exceptional services that the team at Audio RX have provided. Sincerely from my heart & soul, Mr. Richards. read more

They treated me professionally and were extremely nice. Sara was very understanding of the noises people in law enforcement are exposed to and the test was better than I have been through in a decade. After suffering major hearing loss and ringing in my ears she assumed me that hearing aids were required. Not happy about that but it's part of the job. Highly recommend. read more

From the very first moment I walked into the waiting room the friendly greeting and big smile from the receptionist said volumes. I was immediately helped and was not left to just sit there. The entire team seemed to get along great with each other and they all were so polite to me. The whole setting was calming and positive. During my first appointment Susan very patiently administered a series of tests and was so conscientious and careful to make sure my tests were accurate and complete. I never felt rushed and I felt confident that the testing was precise. I am a perfectionist and sometimes that works against me. However, in spite of my incessant pickiness, Susan meticulously dialed in my hearing aids perfectly. She was so patient and kind while taking all the time it took to ensure I had the best experience possible. At times I had the pleasure of working with other staff members as well. Without exception, everyone gave me outstanding service. Note to Susan: I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate all your patience and kindness while dialing in my hearing aids. I am so impressed with the Starkey Halos and am very happy with how they are set up. The small domes have completely eliminated the tickling and itching in my ears!!!! And I love how you set up the Stream Boost for my phone calls and music. The EQ is so much better now. Everything works great. The Normal setting is perfect for helping me hear conversations, and the automatic switching to the Car setting is wonderful. I have also used the Tinnitus App regularly to get relief. It is great. And at times I have used the full domes for listening to music (the sound quality with those is incredible). You have definitely improved my quality of life. I am so happy that you hung in there with me. I'm so sorry I was so picky, but I am so happy how everything is set up. You are my hero. read more

I was referred to Audio Rx after having been to several other hearing tests and receiving hearing aids from other facilities. My initial visit involved the most comprehensive hearing test I have received, which was performed by Sarah Balsam Au.D., CCC-A. Sarah is/was very interested in learning what my specific hearing issue was and determining what hearing aids would best suit my needs. In addition to providing the highest quality medical service, Sarah was extremely pleasant. This was the same for every other person in the office I had contact with. I definitely left with the feeling that there was a genuine care for me as a patient/person. After two additional visits for adjustments and a repair, I was greeting with the same high level of service. I was and am more than willing to drive 58 miles to Los Angeles to receive such a high level of service. I would suggest Audio Rx to anyone who required this type of service. read more
