    My bathtub drain was sluggish for too long and I finally took action. My call was answered…read morepromptly and professionally, and appointment made for later the same day. My older tub is great but has a picky drain system. James arrived precisely on time, and figured out how to modify the original plug so water in and out were perfect processes -- like new. James was efficient and clearly skilled and experienced. I'd ask for him again. Home maintenance is expensive and I found Marvel's pricing competitive with other businesses.

Showed me the numerous roots that penetrarte the clay pipe. I then ask their suggestion to avoid this happening again. Their ansmer dig the old clay pipe put Schedule 40PVC Pipe...$15,000.00.....I phone another plumber....did the camera....went an extra 10 feet to the connector with city of Vancouver. Conclusion....if I do what was suggested by Viktor at Marvel it would not solve the problem because the last 10 feet on the city side were just as bad....suggestion? Phone city of Vancouver 311 number...because I already had a back flow the came in 12 hours....they had a type of router they clean from the access beside the house all the way to the connector about 45 feet....showed me the results with their camera....clean...said the clay pipe is old 100 years old but i should not have issue for 10 to 15 years...job done in 80 minutes...cost? $ 0.00.....so you make your own deduction about Viktor and Marvel plumbing....either incompetent or......opportunistic/or......

    I had a very frustrating experience with Milani Plumbing and cannot recommend them. The first…read moretechnician named Ali K. came to inspect my newly purchased condo on Aug. 5, 2025 because a building inspector had just noticed water damage in the ceiling but no current leaks were found and he advised me to keep an eye on things. While he was here, I asked him to instal a new kitchen faucet, but neither of us realized that I would be unable to use it because of my lack of finger strength. (I am disabled.) He was very friendly and explained what he was doing. Sadly, Ali K. lied to me and told me it was against company policy to take photos of himself, although he happily let me take photos of the work he was doing. Unfortunately, Ali K. left me with a jammed garburator that was working before he came and poor hot water flow that was a result of debris left in the tube. As a result of so many issues, I had three follow up visits (and one no show) and had to go to Home Depot to buy another faucet that was installed August 15 by a great technician named Lovepreet- the tech who discovered the debris in the tube, and happily posed for photos. He had to come twice since nobody told him I needed a replacement tap. Desmond refused to escalate my concerns when I spoke to him on the phone for 30 minutes on Aug. 20, and he didn't follow through with a credit or putting anything in writing for me. After more texting after August 30, I was randomly given a partial refund of $131.25 on Sept. 9th for the faucet that was installed on August. 5 and offered a future credit of $100. (I was charged $300 plus tax for the faucet.) Communication was poor--I dealt with multiple reps, conflicting information, and a hassle getting even a partial refund after I threatened legal action. I wasted many hours dealing with this company and made the choice have a staycation and just eat out in restaurants more often from Aug. 5-15. to avoid the challenges that come from a kitchen hot water tap not working properly. I've learned to make lemonade when life hands me lemons. The best rep I spoke with on the phone a few times was Garrett, who suggested that Milani educate their staff about disability and the impact it has on being able to use a tap. I was also pleased with how quickly I was able to get an appointment the first time I called and the first follow up the next day. I understand that plumbing is challenging and mistakes happen but the customer service was a huge disappointment.
