They were responsive to my calls. communicated well and reasonably priced. Many others in town didn't even bother getting back to me. Bestway's Pricing was clear: initial half hour includes the call out fee and then hourly after that. Extremely professional and courteous. I was also impressed by his knowledge, as i was considering doing the fix myself but damn glad I didn't. Looked easy, but ended up being a bit more challenging of a set-up. Jafar's skills proved why calling a pro is the smarter thing to do when dealing with gas. I definitely could not have rebuilt pipe fittings and couplers on the fly like he did. I probably would have had to bust some drywall or damage the siding. Helped me do the gas conversion too. Once again, hard for me, easy for him. My experience was smooth as everyone wants these things to be. Highly recommend for his mad skills and excellent value.

Only issue is they cut a hole into building envelope in crawl space and left the insulation lying on the ground plus left the hole where vermin can crawl in. I've spoken to Sam in person several times and texted as well as sent company an email yet no one has shown up to fix the issue. I put the insulation back but I have a quad spinal fusion and am not up to installing wood over the hole. Poor customer service after sale.

New air exhaust pipes were running in the old air exhaust pipes of the old water tank. I guessed new air exhaust pipes holes were not made to save time. This was a big mistake, because the noise from the fan of the new Navien tankless water broiler would be magnified in the old pipes and the noise is transmitted to different part of the house, even bedrooms. Asked Sam to book a time to speak to the Navien technician on the customer hotline, without any success, since the technician would not talk to a customer directly. Sam went on vacations on holidays. Texted him to come to help without any reply. Now in August 2025, after 20 months of the installation, I am still punished by the noise, each time someone is using the hot water.

Unfortunately, Norman left a bad taste in our mouths and we will be taking our business elsewhere for any future services.

Just because of that service I'm saving his info to call him again when I have a heating or cooling issue.

Pro West Heating & Air Conditioning scammed $1500 from me. They refuse to honor 100% guarantee…read more Stay away at all cost. My air conditioner was not blowing cold air so I called Pro West Heating & Air Conditioning, based on their good reviews. Sean, the technician showed up. He diagnosed the problem and told me that I need to replace the control board and the fan motor. I told him since the heat pump is over 10 years old, I did not want to spend so much money unless he is 100% sure about the problem. Sean assured me that he will guarantee 100% he will fix the problem. He assured me that if the AC is still not working after spending $1500, he said he will fix it for free until it is fixed. So I trusted his words went ahead and spend $1500 on 10 year old heat pump. After Sean replaced the control board and the fan motor, the problem still existed. I called him so many times but every time he comes, he just told me the unit is working fine, even though it is making a loud noise and fan not turning on. Sean told me to just put on E-Heat setting and not use the heat pump. He promised to contact the manufacturer to fix the problem but that never happened. After months and months of waiting, he now tells me there is a gas leak which is the cause of the problem. Really!? So he replaced the control board and fan motor for nothing. He refused to admit his misdiagnosis and refused to keep his promise of 100% guarantee. I had owned and operated a motel for over 20 years and used so many trades people but I never met such a dishonest repairman. I tried to resolve the issue directly but they just do not care. There are many other honest HVAC companies, I would avoid Pro West Heating & Air Conditioning at all cost.

AB Tech was recommended by a friend of ours so I called Bruce and explained the situation. Good news/bad news: it was a Friday and he was in the middle of a big job and couldn't come until Monday. Then an hour later, he called to say he was breaking away from the big job to come look. He noted that the boiler wasn't serviced in a while and the pilot needed replacing. He spent a couple hours on this when I know he had to get back to the big job, but he was committed. He just came back today to finish the service. I'm grateful to Bruce and his crew for taking the time to help us. It would have been a cold weekend.
