This place is amazing, incredibly fun, educating and all set in a fabulous space. I highly recommend this venue. Love how the candles are made and that they soy based, which is a safer way to burn. The staff is attentive and so helpful. I just loved our candle making class and can't wait to join in the other classes they offer. They make wedding favors too.

This candle workshop is the BOMB!! My girl and I decided on a a candle making date to catch up. I purchased my ticket online through Eventbrite for the 12pm Saturday class. My other friend who already took this class told me to make sure to get the tickets ASAP as they sell out quick, and they sure did. My friend did not get her ticket in time so I emailed the owner, Diana on my options. Diana kindly said I could bring my friend and she could pay in person which was super nice! Brighter Days has plenty of parking out front and kind of hidden but just follow the signs and you'll be okay. Upon walking in, we were greeted by Diana and shown around to get our aprons and seats. The day we visited there was also a pop up shop in the front which was cute because there were people who were stopping by solely for the shop! There's about 4 long tables; we were glad to be at one alone. Behind us was a big group of women celebrating a birthday as well as another table with a big group of women. Then there was a table with one couple. Since the class is BYOB and BYOF (food) we were able to make our candles without a mask on. But of course, you need your mask if you leave your seat. Candle making was super fun! We made TWO 100% natural soy candles with wooden wicks. We smelled many fragrance oils and mixed our faves. We also got to decorate our own labels. Directions were super easy to follow and Diana was attentive visiting every table to answer any questions. Our candles cooled within 30 mins as we had mini fans in front of them so they were good to travel home. Once we were done, we checked out the pop up shop as well as Diana's shop which consisted of candles, candle accessories, scrubs, coasters and more! My favorite candle was the fruity pebble! All in all, it's such a great date idea! Perfect for celebrations, date nights, family get togethers, etc. and who doesn't like candles?!

Super cute place that I wouldn't have thought to check out if it weren't for instagram! I came on a day that their one year anniversary was being celebrated and it was super cute! Not to mention, very generous. I purchased a lighter, and the owner was so gracious and friendly.

We signed up for the candle workshop which includes 2 DIY candles made of soy wax with a wooden wick that crackles like a fireplace!

I have yet to receive an email, a text, or a phone call! My daughter was injured in gym class and had fractured her finger and this guy feels it's his right to keep my deposit money from birthday party AS well as tuition that my daughter was not present for!! After several phone calls, the office manager finally found it appropriate to let me know the owner's intentions on keeping the deposit money as well as to continue to charge me tuition (even though we didn't have a clearance date from the doctor!) Weeks later, I now have a clearance date and my daughter can return to gymnastics, but now nobody wants to return my phone calls OR my tuition money for November and December! I took it upon myself to STOP anymore withdrawals from this facility. I am owed money and even with all of this, we were willing to come back because my daughter likes her teachers there! I called again and of course left a message as nobody really ever answers the phone. I have yet to hear back from them! I am assuming that they kicked us out, since they haven't replied back?!! Reason for my post is: think twice before walking into their doors, cuz if your child gets a great teacher, it really isn't worth the hassle of working with such a classless owner. BUT again, the gymnastics coaches here are sweet. If any of them read this, feel free to call me to set up private lessons!!

We got to choose between a mug, bowl, or plate but you can modify the exact shape or depth and they help you do that! We were there for about two hours and it was plenty of time to make our pottery and paint. Definitely search up some ideas or a Pinterest board for inspiration beforehand since we all spent so long there trying to decide.

I loved my process during the one day wheel experience and decided to take their 4 week wheel classes. I mostly learned from their staff Danielle and she was an excellent teacher! One day wheel experience - $48 per person - perfect friend hangout or date activity! - make 1 piece on the wheel with expert staff guidance with options to make 1 more piece on your own - paint your piece with engobes paint and pick up your piece after a few weeks! 4 week classes - $200 total- such a good deal! Weekly 1 hr classes that includes all supplies, glazes and firing - make atleast 2 pieces depending on how your skills progress throughout the classes. I made 6 pieces but only took home 4! - I was a beginner so Danielle focused on throwing cylinders. However I wish there could be more variety in throwing different shapes- like a bowl - I learned so much from each class from wedging clay, centering, making even walls, trimming, making and attaching handles I loved my experience here and I'll be back to utilize their studio space for wheel throwing as well as glaze some of their premade pieces

In addition, i anticipate reporting them to the FTC and the BBB. As the gal above me wrote - don't waste your time with them. I initiated contact three weeks before my scheduled training as a serious family emergency came up and I requested a refund for the tuition I had paid. This was October of 2021. Then until now, have been a lot of follow up email attempts to no avail, phone attempts where it is difficult to get ahold of anyone, with both Norton and one particular employee probably assigned these responsibilities. I paid for my remaining tuition as soon as I was notified I was awarded a partial scholarship. This was a big mistake, as once you do, they send over "material" (a ten page document and the pdf version of a textbook) via email. Thus, because I was emailed these "materials", (and not the actual physical version since they were not in stock apparently) 650 dollars was non refundable, in addition to the standard 250 non refundable fee. Of the 1600 I paid, I'm STILL waiting to get the 950 back. Should I reconsider taking my certification down the line, it will DEFINITELY not be with them. They "offered" full value of what I paid should I decide to attend a future training, but I absolutely refuse and at this point, accept that loss of 650 so I can just move on (if they ever refund my money).

My daughter had expressed an interest in acting for some time, but kept changing her mind every time we got to the point of going to check it out. Then early this year, the urge was so strong that she agreed to let me make an appointment for her to go and see what was what. We got to the place early on a Saturday and the butterflies were starting to get the better of her, but we were able to successfully overcome them with a gentle nudge, and a guaranty that if she was not thrilled that I would be back to pick her up in an instant. Well let me tell you. That introductory class ignited a flame in her, and a confidence in herself that I had not seen before. I have never seen her strive and work as hard at anything like this ever before. Ralph, the Artistic Director; Megan, and Dan and the rest of the people at the school are the nicest, warmest and most wonderful people I have ever met. They make the kids feel safe and accepted and nurture them as if they were their own. They truly make the kids and us parents feel like family. If your child has any interest at all in the magical world of entertainment, or if you think they could use a dose of confidence building, then check out the Actors Playground and see for yourself how amazing this little place is.
