It was alot for my toddler to handle. Some of the teachers were not warm or played favorites, there were high teacher turnover rates, and they oversold us, so created high expectations. Once we wanted to leave, they told us we'd lose our $250 deposit. We told them that this was never disclosed to us and the should just return it and allow parents to change schools. The owner got angry and said they never return the deposit when parents leave. Up until then, he acted like a nice gentleman. Others may have a good experience but we just didn't.

We signed up for the candle workshop which includes 2 DIY candles made of soy wax with a wooden wick that crackles like a fireplace! The instructor was super helpful and sweet and very accommodating. It's also being your own snack and beverage which was really fun to graze on while waiting for the candles to solidify. There are other classes here such as knitting and earring making which I can't wait to check out!

One of the best parts was that it was BYOB and BYOF (bring your own food), which made the day even more exciting. We brought an assortment of dips, chips, fruit, cheese, and even chicken wings, and it was a blast snacking while working on our blankets. The environment was absolutely beautiful--being in a candle shop meant it smelled divine, and the space was thoughtfully designed and well-maintained. You could tell the staff genuinely care about the place, which I really appreciated. In terms of the actual blanket crocheting, they had a decent variety of colors to choose from, and you can even request specific colors in advance, which is a nice touch. We were a group of six, and none of us had crocheted before, but the employee who helped us at the start was fantastic at teaching us. After she left, the owner (in the photos - I'm sorry I forgot her name!) stepped in, and she was equally amazing--so friendly, patient, and helpful. The session lasted over three hours, which did get a little tiring, but the owner was great at stepping in to help those who got too tired (or a bit tipsy!) finish their blankets. While I loved the experience overall, I wasn't thrilled with how my blanket turned out--it was way too loose and ended up looking more like a spiderweb. I ended up throwing it away and plan to redo it at home, but that didn't take away from how much I enjoyed the day. Even though the location was a bit far (about 45 minutes for me), I would absolutely come back. The combination of a fun, creative activity, great company, and such a welcoming atmosphere made it a memorable day!

Maybe a preventative measure would be a survey/ questionnaire so we can decide better, but it felt that my kid wasn't enough. Icing on the cake was the act the trainer put on at the end, "she was great", "so cute". I already knew that, and was watching the whole time she's too young. It was nice the other 4 year olds help her who were part of the session.

**A True Second Home **…read more We have had such an amazing experience at Sunshine Daycare. Both of our children spent their early years there, and Sunshine truly became a second home for them -- and for our family. The teachers and staff are so loving, caring, and attentive, and many of the teachers have been there for years. You can truly feel the love and dedication they have for the children. Sunshine isn't just a daycare; it feels like a family. Everyone knows your children, cares about them, and celebrates their growth along the way. We especially loved the home-cooked meals prepared for the children. It was such a special touch that made Sunshine feel even more like home. Both of our kids were always happy to go and formed such special bonds with their teachers and the entire staff. Knowing they were surrounded by people who genuinely loved and cared for them gave us so much peace of mind. We will always be grateful to the Sunshine Daycare family for making our children feel so loved, safe, and at home. They truly became part of our family, and we couldn't recommend Sunshine more!

Where do I even begin?! Best camp in Bucks County, if not the whole country! I think the fact that…read morethey are celebrating their 43rd anniversary speaks for itself. This fact alone, played a huge factor when selecting summer camp for my son this year. A camp that has successfully opened its doors every summer for the last almost half century must be good. And oh it is good. Very good! The grounds are beautiful. When you visit, you forget that you are close to home. It feels as though you drove a couple of hours into Poconos. Lush green lawns, many old trees, even a lake! The camp grounds are set up such as there is a little town, with little wooden arrow signs pointing in all directions. They have a large heated pool designed for both early swimmers as well as more mature ones. They have full tennis courts, basketball courts, soccer field and baseball field among others. They have a rock climbing wall and a zip-line that goes across the lake! A horse track with two horses. Probably so much more that I am forgetting as well. Each child gets a schedule packed full of activities. In fact, activities change every 45 minutes and transition is seamless. When visiting on parent day I was so impressed by organization of the place. Everything is timed and perfectly in tune with no glitches. I guess they have done it plenty enough in the last 43 years. We love the fact that our son gets swimming lessons once a day with an instructor as well as a free swim in the afternoon. We event received a progress report on his swimming progress, it was really nice to know where he stands. In addition to all the activities, there are constantly events going on as well. They had a show, where each bunk presented on stage in front of others. Color games, carnival week with carnival rides, a late night special, where kids stay later into the night. The excitement with which my son comes home is priceless. Every day he tells me about trying new activities such as cooking or new games that he has not tried before. Also, I love the fact that he was able to make friends very quickly. His Counselor Michelle is beyond nice and accommodating. She also happens to be his transportation. The pick-up and drop off at home is super convenient but next year we might even try extended hours, which are actually very affordable. Overall, I could not be happier with the camp. When we requested information, we actually received a DVD that had a long movie about day to day activities at the camp. It was very helpful. Jacque and Rick, the owners of the camp are very easy to get in touch with and always extremely helpful over the phone and email. In fact Jacque went out of her way to get me the information on registration only a day before the deadline and still gave me the discount. We love this camp and cannot wait to have our daughter there next year as well. We would highly recommend it to anyone!

At the camp show, one of the camp directors kept INSISTING you cannot record your own child! Multiple times she got up to chastise people who did nothing more than try to film their own child in the show! They sell a DVD of the show they are forcing you to buy if you want a video. Well, who has a DVD player these days? And this time around our child was so excited to be in the show and told family members all about it and since they could not attend were very disappointed not to be able to see a cell phone video of it. We did not order the DVD since we have no DVD player but we heard they took 7 months to send them out! So to recap, they ban you from filming your own child (imagine that!) so you have to buy their overpriced DVD which took them 7 months to send out! And this horrible woman who lacks basic social skills scolds parents during the show like they are kindergarteners! I recommend finding a camp who would not nickel and dime their camp families like this and treats their families with respect. We enrolled at another camp and told the new director this situation and he just chuckled and said, 'you are always welcome to take videos of your child here.'
