The nurse thought it was a good idea to ask her if she had her period. My daughter has no idea what that is and for them not to ask the parents is completely ignorant and unexceptionable.2nd. They lost our payments and could not explain why. They have no management systems to handle the billing and was a horrible experience. 3rd. I was in the office trying to handle one of these problems and the lady was extremely condescending to me and completely disrespectful to two young staff members in front of me. There's a smaller section for small toddlers (smaller slides, a little house attached to it, etc.) and also a larger section for kids 5+ (larger slides, balance ropes, etc.). Both sections have some overhead coverage but the park itself is not shaded. There's also a separate area where the swings are and also a climbing rock/boulder. There's basketball courts adjacent to the kids playground and a good amount of parking. It's definitely one of the cleaner and newer parks around and would definitely recommend checking it out.

Went back and forth via email multiple times BEFORE they told me the date I wanted wasn't available, which is the date I gave them in email one. Offered a new date, it was booked. They tried to call me mid day and I wasn't available due to a work conference so I emailed them, told them this and requested a list of available dates over a two weekend period. They call again but of course I couldn't pick up. So applaud them for calling, but be respectful of what I sent you. I call back twice, leave a message, nothing. Then they ghost me. Apparently they don't want our money so we shifted to something else, but had to scramble last minute. So while I recommend a day trip here, don't waste your time trying to book out a party.

Every morning there's fun music and an enthusiastic guy on the microphone getting everyone pumped up for the day (shout out to that guy - he's awesome!), other staff dancing around, some singing, and all of their enthusiasm is completely genuine. It's really impossible not to smile every morning. The positivity is contagious and it sets the tone for the entire camp. I have to mention the organizational structure too, because I am constantly amazed at their preparation for every day, with every group. This place runs like a well-oiled machine. Every detail has clearly been thought out, and somehow they keep hundreds (thousands??) of kids moving from one age appropriate activity to the next without total chaos. It's very impressive. My daughters are exhausted (in a great way) after their camp day and talking nonstop about everything they got to do. Every single day there's something new they're excited to tell me about. The number of activities is unbelievable. I'm a little jealous sometimes because my childhood summers certainly didn't look anything like this. Lol. I loooove seeing the pics they send of the kids doing cool stuff. My favorite is seeing my little one doing archery. LOVE IT!!! You can tell that everyone who works here has one goal, and that is to make sure these kids have the best summer possible. And they definitely succeed. Btw, a special shout out to Miss Bella who is the sweetest Camp Counselor who ever lived. My younger daughter loves her so much. This is only our second summer at Country Roads, and we're actually moving to another nearby town soon, but we're probably going to keep coming every summer because it's really that good. This is where you want your kids to spend their summer. They've got everything figure out. I really can't recommend it enough.
