I luckily found Kevin on Craigslist as I was going to purchase the equipment and have him install it. However obtaining a permit is very difficult so I just had Kevin give me quote for total system including equipment, installation, labor, design, and permitting. Price was similar to me purchasing equipment and having him install. So I just had his team do everything. I also was getting a new roof and needed a solar contractor to work with the roofing contractor. Kevin (C46 licensed) and his team worked cooperatively with the roofer and they coordinated installation together. I really wanted each solar mount penetration flashed and sealed by roofer to avoid voiding warranty. He also installed top notch equipment including Enphase microinverters and LG panels. I would recommend obtaining a quote from Kevin if you are planning on going solar. The system he installed: 11KW 34 US made LG 320 watt modules 34 IQ7+ microinverters 1 Enphase combiner envoy

Reuben was super responsive and easy…read moreto work with on the estimate and scheduling, and Bernardo did an incredible job out in the field. We had 30 panels across 4 separate arrays with heavy nesting and an old chicken wire setup that a previous guy had improperly nailed straight into the roof. Bernardo worked through brutal summer heat, stripped off all the old wire, meticulously filled in all the nail holes with sealant to prevent water damage, cleared out all the nasty debris underneath, and installed the new 17-gauge mesh with proper clips. It ended up taking much longer than a standard job due to how bad the mess was, but Bernardo communicated everything clearly, stayed transparent on the extra time needed, and didn't cut a single corner. The panels look spotless and the roof is finally protected the right way. Huge thanks to Reuben and Bernardo!

I've been going back and forth with them for well over five weeks to get it resolved. They've said the company that manufactured my panels (apparently an in-house brand that is no longer operating) is out of business, so they've been "trying to secure panels with the proper wattage" for over a month. No update as of today. It's really frustrating that I have these problems, a warranty to cover it, and it's not being taken care of in a timely fashion. Between a pool, an EV and five humans in my house, those 10 panels do a lot of the work, and now I'm just eating the cost. I have expressed that I'm frustrated (especially because they never call me--I have to follow-up weekly to get them to talk to me), but it just seems like they care to do anything about it. It's just a "we're still waiting". Make some calls, secure the pipeline for the panels, and replace my panels, please. Next step if we cannot move forward in the coming week will be the better business bureau.
