I had initially reached out to Jacky, and she told me that she could not do tattoos with ashes BUT she offered to help find someone who could (check out her work; it is gorgeous). She connected me with Mark, the owner he squeezed me into his packed schedule cause he could tell my heart needed to heal. Stew helped lighten the mood with a sense of humor my dad would have loved. They offered to play my dad's favorite Music (Kind of Blue by Miles Davis) and tattoed my dad's art and a piece of him on me so I could always carry his love with me. Both Tristan (Stew touched up 2 of his tattoos) walked out of there with a beautiful new memory, and I know that my dad was sitting there with us, not only shaking his head that we were getting tattoed but also loving it at the same time. I know in my heart that he would have loved Mark and Stew. Thank you both for giving me this memory.

Fast forward to today... when I had completely changed my design and didn't tell him until I showed up for my appt. Sam was just as nice and personable in person, my changes were no big deal at all. I sat on their comfy couch and watched tv while he made my stencil, then we got to it. We passed the time bullshitting about anything and everything, time literally flew by and then bam- my tattoo was done! I have quite a bit of tattoos, and this was my least painful! Sam really did an excellent job handling my husband's memorial tattoo. His line work is impeccable, which is exactly what drew me to him initially. It came out exactly how I wanted. Shop was super clean and organized. Very professional, very welcoming, chill vibe and overall an amazing experience. Sam is officially my tattoo artist!!! Thank you again so so much.
