Lack of transparency, follow-through, and support for neurodiverse children…read more After four years with Precious Time, I was shocked by how poorly things ended. My son, who has ADHD, was dismissed suddenly and without prior warning--a decision that violated their own three-step disciplinary policy. What we experienced: Incident reports that were vague, inconsistent, and never properly shared, despite numerous formal requests Missed doses of ADHD medication with no timely communication Ongoing bullying that was brought up multiple times and never addressed A rotating door of teachers, inconsistent structure, and poor classroom management Staff who told my child he would be "sent home" if he couldn't "get it together"--which is especially damaging to a child with behavioral challenges We tried for weeks to resolve this professionally, but the lack of transparency and follow-through from leadership was extremely disappointing. Precious Time may advertise inclusion, but our experience said otherwise. If your child needs support or structure beyond the basics, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

I have showed my concern multiple times. On Friday I talked to Mrs.Robins and she was being rude and a racists towards me. She was not understanding at all and the facts were over looked. No one has yet to show me how to make payments online. As I am over $600 behind. I was not billed in an advance as shown in the contract. No one took my payment to have it automatically taken out. No communicated with me about it until after a month my daughter started. I have child care subsidy and no one notified about how much I owed until after a month. I have shown my concerns to the owner and nothing is being done. So I'm just getting further behind and no one is doing nothing. Legally I have proof that the contract was breached and this can be taken to court. I am not being heard and no one wants to take accountability. I had a whole break down that caused me to step away from my job from the words that was coming from Mrs.Robin. As for the owner of Precious Time Child Development I am asking to be heard and for something to be done. Unfortunately I would have to take this to court if nothing will be done.

Children are abused here. They are bitten, pinched, forced to sit in chairs, cursed at and…read moredegraded, they are threatened. The teachers know which kids they can do what to; for instance, they know where the cameras are, and they know the 1-2 year olds won't repeat threats. Management is complicit, and they turn their eyes to the abuse because they are afraid of their family-owned business being under scrutiny. One of the members of management told a one year old girl she needed to lay still so she could get her "pussy" cleaned. Kids are regularly told, "If you were my kid, you wouldn't sit down for a week," things like that. I reported the abuse but they did nothing because I didn't realize how widespread it was; multiple teachers laugh when a teacher is "fed up" and threatens a kid. They all do it. It is terrifying. These kids can't defend themselves, and they can't tell us that it's happening, but it is awful and they need help.

I have never been more concerned for the safety and wellbeing of the children at this facility…read more There is favoritism among the children, unprofessional staff, low staff but they have their "Enroll now" sign up and putting more stress on the staff by maxing out their capacity. They have a "cut-off" time to check in at 9am, they will not let you enter the classroom past this time. The food is garbage, oatmeal every day, no utensils for the older kids. The leaders don't care about your children, they just want your money. They try to find ways to send the children home early (based off a couple other parents I have spoken to). One of the staff members are very aggressive physically with the "more difficult" kids and when they don't listen or are having a hard time. I absolutely want you to be aware of this before considering enrollment

We are so lucky to have found this Goddard school! Kendra, who has a heart of gold and a true love…read morefor children, opened this school in April. When we initially met her at our tour, we just knew that she was in this field for all the right reasons. Our boys started at the school when it opened, and their teachers have been amazing. Their primary teacher, Miss Katie, has been so loving, and cares about our boys in the most genuine way. They have come so far with her and Miss JaVonne, and we feel so lucky that our boys are in her class. The school director, Molly, has a background in speech therapy, which is so evident in how she has been supporting our children's development. Thank you for giving our boys such a loving and safe transition into preschool! We are forever grateful

We were called this spring about the waiting list after we left our number 2 years ago. I was so…read moresurprised they actually still had our info and called, that in itself showed me they were very organized. We counted down the months for my sons first day and now a month into it, I can say already I understand the reason for that waitlist. My son is happy going in everyday and when o pick-him up. Everyone in the staff is personable, I get daily updates, and he's proud to show me his daily paper with what he colored. The sheet also tells me what they covered for stories, what the age, and he's even napping again. I can use the information on the sheet to talk to him about his day and I'm just mind blown at how much more responsive he is since he started. I'm so happy we got in! They are fantastic

So far, we are happy with Promise Care. Although they lack some of the modern amenities that our…read moreprevious preschool had (I really miss getting those Brightwheel updates!), they are handling Covid with grace and my child feels safe and cared for and that is what matters the most. Unfortunately due to Covid, parents still aren't allowed inside. I still got a chance to see the classroom via a virtual tour and meet his teacher on a few occasions and she is incredibly sweet. My son talks about all of his friends every night, loves the playground, and brings home some cute art projects! He has matured so much just in the 3 months that he's been there, and he quickly stopped crying at drop off because he enjoys his school so much. Negatives would be the lack of an app, not being able to go inside yet, and having to write a check to pay. But, where they lack in modern amenities, they more than make up for it in care and tuition. This is the best priced tuition in the west end for an all day program. I am so thankful that we were able to get in off the waiting list after a 2 year wait and that my daughter will be able to attend next year. We plan to keep both children here until they age out. Thankfully, they pick up from our zoned elementary school so we are set in terms of childcare. It was a rough road to get here - the childcare situation in Richmond is absolutely horrible - but we are here and so thankful!

It took me from the moment I found out I was pregnant to after she was born to search for a sitter high and low, So when we unexpectedly lost our sitter our was devasted and cried for days. To start the search over and finding someone who loves and cares but also teaches your child just wasn't in my plan. I took a few weeks off to interview and search places. KA was 2nd to last on my list. (I never made it to the last one) The initial interview was well. They answer all my questions and concerns and I felt at ease the facility is immaculately clean, especially with Covid I think they go above. I also see the change in my child's learning. I believe they were already at level but I see the excel in the way my little one talks and used certain words They also take concern from parents and work through them. When my LO never really experienced a true pre-school or daycare setting the transition was hard. That they were crying to go every day that I was about to pull my LO out, I let my concern be known and ms Kiran and her staff worked with us and my LO so well. My Lo is now looking forward to going and makes me so happy. Every day it's got a little bit easier which as a parent I can continue my day know they are good hands ..... plus the cameras make it just a little bit easier on me as well My only negative is that we came so late that next school year semester my LO will be starting school and transitioning out
