They are all professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. Dr. Choi takes the time to explain everything thoroughly and provides his honest opinion about your treatment options. I never felt pressured into doing any recommended procedures, which made me feel comfortable and confident in making my own decisions. Their pricing is also very competitive, and the quality of care is outstanding. After being with the same dentist for over 20 years, choosing a new dentist after moving to the Whittier area was a difficult decision. We were nervous and hesitant, but Bailey Family Dentistry exceeded our expectations. The office is clean, modern, and equipped with impressive technology, including 3D imaging. Dr. Choi was thorough and took the time to explain everything in detail while providing valuable insight into my overall dental health. The entire team was attentive, friendly, and fun to be around, making us feel like longtime patients from day one. We're so glad we found Bailey Family Dentistry and highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional dental care.

2026 grill update:…read more Avoiding the dentist by "being too busy" cost me a tooth and some extra coin...that said, I can even more fully recommend Atlantic dental because now I've had some adulting major work...not just cleanings and crowns. Like a true team, Dr. Paz handled the below gum work and Dr Tamir, the above...can you tell what I had replaced? Trust this team I've always found this office to be professional and conservative with treatment, if they say you need it, listen before you do more damage with time and decay like me. No scams and it never feels like a car dealership. So in December 2025, they gave me the bad news and coordinated a plan: an extraced tooth, a deep cleaning and a bridge... but of course a month later I had a major life emergency because Murphy's Law...I communicated my situation and we adapted the timeline and got done what i could so I could minimize the decay/need more expensive implants. Many months later just had my first post work done cleaning with my superflossin' hygenist Lourdes...and noone on the street or that I've kissed can tell what I was missing a tooth a couple months back... btw, nothing about my procedures hurt a lot.... except having to use my Care Credit...which they accept and is great if you need 0% financing (just pay it off in time).

She was incredibly bubbly and an overall great first contact when walking into the dental office. As requested for FSA purposes, Sam had my itemized itinerary upon exit and had me rescheduled for my 6 month follow up in under 2 minutes. And as always, I love working with Lourdes! She's always so educational and kind with my cleanings. My oral regimen has never felt more robust and effective thanks to her, after incorporating her tips so far of; 1) brushing within 15 minutes of consuming coffee or tea, 2) incorporating a soft bristle brush during the week, and 3) really emphasizing flossing and using a waterpick

I recently had such a bad toothache that the right side of my face was going numb, I was sleeping less than one hour per night and I could not drink ANYTHING for over five days. I was in denial, avoided visiting the dentist and took Tylenol so often as though I was eating M & M's thinking the pain would somehow go away. With that in mind, I put on my, "big boy pants" and visited my dentist to find out what the heck was going on with my tooth. Upon my arrival, i was welcomed back by the entire staff with warm smiles and greetings. The staff here are truly friendly, welcoming and professional. In less than three minutes of my arrival, I was lying on a dental chair awaiting the Dr. Yoon, my dentist. Dr. Yoon has this way of calming me down and getting me to relax immediately as she knows that my anxiety level is always high as soon as I step foot into her office. This visit was no different. Dr. Yoon examined me, had X-rays taken and immediately discovered an issue which would require the dreaded root canal. Due to my time schedule limitations, I made an appointment for a few days later and returned. At my next dental appointment, Dr. Yoon discovered that I had a fractured nerve and that this was causing a great deal of inflammation and was the source of my pain and numbness. Dr Yoon and her staff immediately got to work and in less than two hours, It was all done. The pain, numbness and my anxiety were gone. Wow! It felt GREAT to be painless once again. I have to return in two weeks for a permanent crown on the repaired tooth but the anxiety is no longer there and I am actually looking forward to visiting the best dentist and staff in the world. Thank you for the AMAZING service and care to everyone at Whittier Family Dental. I TRULY appreciate you all.

Nothing about my other teeth, gum health, jaw problems that I mentioned during intake. When I contacted them about fixing the billing, I never received a response. I was also promised a follow up on my insurance, didn't receive one. Also I booked my appointment with Dr Laura, but received an exam from Dr Katelyn instead. Would have been fine, however I didn't find the bedside manner to be great. For example when I mentioned that I wanted braces she simply asked "Why?" I found this odd since previous dentists had observed issues with my jaw alignment, bite, and teeth crowding.. but this time the dentist seemed confused as to why I'd even want braces. If a comprehensive exam was truly given in the first place, I don't think it would have been a question. Another example: after examining my cracked tooth she said matter-of-factly "I think we both know that it needs to go". Actually no I didn't know, that's why I wanted to get it examined in the first place rather than asking for an extraction. Weird vibes the whole time, just seemed annoyed like I was wasting her time. The place wasn't busy when I went, but wait times were very long. In total I spent about 1 hour and 30 minutes there. The actual exam was less than 10 minutes. I added one star because the lady at the front desk was very nice and welcoming.

Based on that conversation and my prior visits, I had no reason to think there would be a problem. Later, I found out I was assigned to an out-of-network provider, even though there were in-network providers in the office. That was never clearly explained to me beforehand. They also did imaging that my insurance only covers at certain intervals, and no one told me beforehand that it likely wouldn't be covered. I ended up paying $872 out of pocket, which I did not expect. If I had known any of this up front, I would've made different decisions. Just frustrating overall because I returned based on prior good experiences and left feeling blindsided by the cost and lack of communication. I'd recommend people double-check exactly who they're seeing and what procedures are covered before agreeing to anything.
